Was too. Had a similar b6 dosage. But different story/problems. Do you have any experience with b6 supplementation?

You know I meant the mcg/mg right ? :p

Ah just noticed that, edited it to 800mcg :)

Nope never took high dose B6, heard you need to be careful above 100mg for extended use. Thoughts?

That's cool you're starting your second big round of minerals etc but... It is a mistery why your results didn't stick from your first round of minerals.. You were used to take them for a long time but it didn't stick.
Maybe you should think that you're not kicking the root of the problem... No?

That was one round @wuf I think 3 or 4 rounds of TEI should do the trick. I am also doing the zero vitamin A foods approach too, so see how the next few hairtests go, will be doing them every 2 months.

No idea. Just like you I heard about it causing neuropathy.
Neuropathy is often treated with dopamine agonists. But B6 should increase dopamine right?
My guess is that too much b6 could stop conversions. Maybe thats the reason TEI gives you 150mg B6 + some p5p?

Yep TEI suggested 3mg/day P5P, which I might use, but would like to avoid the actives for now.

UPDATE: Just over two weeks on the TEI supps, this round has high dose Biotin and B6, and man the anxiety and wired feeling is through the roof. Feels really shitty TBH, but just gonna push through, its doing something, cause this is not a normal feeling.

Anything new to share?

Was planning an update today, it has been 6 months of low/zero vitamin A diet and TEI minerals. I did have to stop high dose B6/Biotin, I just wasn't feeling well from it, but taking all the other TEI amounts.

Still seeing great progress in skin, mood, energy, body composition and workout recovery.

Hair shedding and deep sleep are still improving very slowly, but hoping they will continue onward.

@Orion Do you still do liver flushes? Do you still pass stones?
I recently read that andreas moritz suggested taking GCG (Gold Coin Grass) to someone who after 30 flushes still passed stones.
Apparently it makes the flushes stronger and helps getting rid of all stones faster.

Hey @manu I completed 20 flushes so far, and was still passing small stones. My body got better and better at handling the flushes, no ill feelings, etc.

Taking a small break for Jul/Aug, probably start them again in Sept, they are easy to do, but I still find them inconvenient. I havnet heard of GCG, I will read up on it.

@Orion do you still supplement b2? What is your experience with it? Did it help oily skin?

Hey @Nina , I stopped higher dose B1 and B2, since going ultra low vitamin A diet 8 months ago. They both seems to help with skin issues, but definitely not a cure. I think B1 helps push sugar metabolism and B2 pushes fat metabolism. So extra B2 could be helpful with de-fattening the liver.

Going low VA has slowly been improving the oily skin the most of what I have tried so far.

VA?

Interesting, b2 helps migraines too i read. I might give it a shot.

VA = vitamin A

ya B2 might be good for you, 100mg a few times a day should help with uptake by saturation. There are a few B2 threads on RPF, some get good results from it.

@Orion how are things going currently?! Are you still on with liver flushes and TEI?

Hey @tanedout, I am at 9 months vitamin A zero diet today, I took a break from liver flushes over the summer but will be starting them again in a few weeks(every 2 weeks). Low VA diet is helping with fat metabolism, but I think I still need to get bile flowing better(we know accutane screws this), and flushes seem to be the way to go here, and get phosolipids working. White tongue has been greatly reduced, and much more resilient digestion, but suspect could still be minor SIBO. Might consider some MCT flushes like @Helen suggested.

I am taking TEI rec's and will hairtest again in Sept and do new TEI recs until Dec.

Hi,
I’m just wondering, because I read that alcoholics have low vitamin A, so would drinking alcohol (I’m not saying lots of it, but just a little) help in process of lowering vitamin A intake and maybe help overall with PAS?

Hey @Mateusz Ya alcohol is supposedly good at flushing VA out of the liver, so alcoholics are really low in VA. I do try to have one or two drinks per day, not sure if helping, but feels good!
