@Helen @mattyb
Curious to hear your guys takes on osteoarthritis? Ive got a step sister getting a hip replacement soon for it, and shes only 37. What gives?! Do you think its diet related? Can you "regenerate" the joint in some way and come back from it?

IMO it s the same problems as anything else.
So we balance our hair tests and we have relative immortality to diseases?

@Helen

I have to say since doing nutritional balancing and hair tests and seeing improvement on them, i haven't gotten rid of all my problems, but i do really feel healthier and stronger.

I guess a good analogy would be something like, before even though i'm young (only 26) i felt like my health had been going downhill for awhile. Slowly, but still definiately down hill.
Now i feel like my health has increased somewhat, which is probably really rare getting older. My problems aren't TERRIBlE either: stress tolerance/mild anxiety, fatigue, dry eyes and IBS. The stress tolerance/anxiety/fatigue is vastly improved, i feel amazing in that area. Holy cow. The dry eyes seem to come and go with the season, and the IBS seems to still depend on my diet and if i slip up or not. But over all, an upward trend.

Maybe its a bit much to ask for a "miracle" and have all problems solved and feel great forever and always, you know, without some kind of mirale treatment (lets say like 60 day fast or something crazy) but i haven't done miracle treatments anyway. I haven't really had the capacity to do anything crazy, but i'm really happy with my results anywaY.
Its pretty phenomenal. Thanks so much for introducing these concepts over at raypeatforum and sticking around dealing with peoples criticisms so the thread got enough traction and i ended up seeing it.

Yeah lets talk about that )) Plus a healing reaction isnt it supposed to feel lil worse not better, everyone on the program ive read it has some weird feeling going on at first.
Ive come to think more and more thats bullshit, at least if you do mild protocols. Dr wilson fo example everyone feels like shit

People seem to struggle on arl initially too
Tei people seem fine

I didnt do any of these protocols just changed my doet pretty much and took electrolytes

IMHO all what a mineral balancing program does is pushing you out of a meta stable state (which is very unbalanced) into another stable state (hopefully the ground state, which is most balanced).
Sometimes people overswing into another meta stable state (eg slow to fast)

Pushing you out of (meta) stability will never be pleasant.

-is it possible someone gets only better... regardless of oxidation increasing or decreasing per any particular mineral balancing program run (like say run 1, run 2, run 3).
-Say someone is 70% and fast oxidizing and Run 1 gives them 80% health or "meta stable state" but slows them down... and Run 2 speeds them past the oxidation they had
before employing mineral balancing, and they're like 85%, and run 4 takes them down... and then they're like 100%....
-or is it simply "balanced" = neither fast nor slow (nor mixed oxidation)?

I'm not sure manik. Maybe they sometimes just support current state and you feel better (like buffering latic acidosis). And then they push you into another state closer to ground state.
I'm using physicist terms here btw
Metastability - Wikipedia

Keep in mind that's just my humble opinion.
I think Helen knows best how this works (but I don't want to tag him and waste his time...)

It's michael!! But thanks man I will consider this. I think it's kind of like metabolic "set point".

--Like when you are 170lb and 10% bf but 3yrs later are 199lb and 9%bf, you have a different "Set point" for TDEE and required maintenance calories. ANd RMR ^. And BMR ^.
-- That's what I was talking about at least (and anytime I mentioned that on here). The first 2 times I deeply explained it, but it got tiresome, so I called it what I did above, like gym-pseudo-science, it's a whole thing @m_arch.
-- Kind of like balancing minerals... seems like a whole thing.
-- Fucking minerals.

-TDEE = Total Daily Energy Expenditure (basic metabolic processes and exercise and work and whatever else expends energy).
-RMR: Resting Metabolic Rate. Doing jack all. But what you've become... something like that.
-BMR: Basal Metabolic Rate. Necessary to survive rate...
-Exact defns, cannot recall but basically what's above.
