All this theory doesn't make sense.DHT increases aldosterone, so if you inhibit Dht, aldo goes down, and there is more potassium. in the body, this speeds up metabolism, thus you lost weight
People who took duta, kept DHT at very very low level for a long time. and this could increase DHT sensitivity and decrease estrogen sensitivity( may be ) after quitting the drug.
that is why symptoms are close to those like on Aromatase inhibitor.
this is why some people got cured from PFS by going on letro(AI) for 6 months and then getting off. LIbido will be pretty much zero on this, while doing this.
May be this is the reason some feel people better on progesterone, since progesterone upregulates Estrogen receptors.
This is why some people feel super bad on zinc, and then better when they get off TEI program.
people are impatient on the TEI program, but they should understand that even going on fin, or letro, of whatever, also wont be fast.
Read this guys log , it will be a year or so. many many months no matter which route people will be taking IMO
All this theory doesn't make sense.
I mean about using finasteride in a little amout to drop DHT a little and then as it goes back up, you modulate the AR.
I mean, it makes sense in logic but how can it happen since many of us (Melcangi's study) reports to have ZERO DHT in the brain?? The brain/dick is mostly where PFS is, so it mean we have to regulate AR in the brain/dick, what do we drop if it is already at fucking ZERO???

In blood yes. There’s not zero DHT in the body.....in those areas the receptors are fucked. That’s why you feel as if there is “zero”, but if you get a blood test, I blood-bank guarantee you that your hormone level isn’t zero. If you drop that level, the ARs will modulate regardless of whether they are feeling the DHT in those areas or not.
At least that is how I understand it.
In blood yes.
But I posted some results from Melcangi's study regarding DHT in Brain and it was ZERO for myself and for other guys.
Blood is different from spinal liquor and in spinal liquor DHT is ZERO.. this is why I am wondering how to drop DHT in liquor hoping it will bounce back and regulate the brain AR.
Ok, but I guess DHT binds to AR also in "normal people" I mean not PFS. And why these normal people has DHT in celebro spinal liquor and PFS guys do not have?read what I just wrote to you ))) LOL
DHT in spine just binds to the receptors that is why it is low in CSF

MMhhh you know it better than me for sure, but your answer does not convince me..)))because in normal people DHT signaling is strong. and the number of the receptors is not HUGE like in PFS, so nothing binds to them

I know and I understand that PFS guys have hhuge amount of AR, but free dht found in normal guys means that it is free dht and PFS guys don't have any free dht (i am talking about cerebro spinal liquor)…. and it is free dht that makes the action, not the binded one.How does that not convince you?

Normal people has free dht, PFS do not. It means we just have binded DHT? Who knows, maybe we totally do not have DHT at all, even not binded, so taking fina what should it drop if there is nothigna t all to drop.
Maybe I am missing something.
No I am fine, I am just trying to understand. You have DHT......Christ alive. If you don’t understand these things, quit reading the studies. It’s just going to make your path to recovery more frustrating, honestly.
No I am fine, I am just trying to understand.
And again, by Melcangi's study results (mine and many other guys) we do not have any DHT at all in spinal liquor.
That is the Melcangi results showing this,
I understand and you are right, but we also saw, in Melcangi's study that we have low metabolities to create DHT 3 adiol is low, 5 Alpha is low etc...so I guess that our DHT is very low since it is not metabolized and it doesn't make too much sense the theory to drop it even further by using fina...but for sure I am missing something since Helen says like this..because DHT in spine binds to the receptors, IT IS BOUND To the receptor, do you understand it. receptor is like a little home for DHT.
if there are many receptors DHT goes in there like in to a little home, that is why it is low
but the signaling of the receptor DOES NOT WORK>
thus the body is trying to make tons of these HOMES for DHT, and binds DHT more and more and more. but it does not work.

God above all, my friend. It is all we truly have. It's very interesting how you guys are talking here about all kind of things, but totally omitted the other thing that this guy claimed he did, about praying to God and stopping sinning.
There is a book called Testing Prayer: Science and Healing , it is published by Harvard University Press, and It is written by CANDY GUNTHER BROWN, she is Harvard educated , B.A. (1992; summa cum laude), M.A. (1995), and Ph.D. (2000) degrees from Harvard University, and now she is a professor at Indiana University.
I advice you to check it out, you can read it here for free: https://b-ok.cc/ireader/2867109
Also she has a speech at Boston Collage on this subject, check it out here:
YuuupLast thing, if I am not wrong, by the study it comes out that the methylation is regarding the 5 alfa reductase enzyme and not the ARs.
