I've never noticed a benefit post alcohol. I have higher T and DHT. Wonder if that it related???

I have less hormones than a dead guy, and I don’t really feel any different after alcohol, either.

These findings are important. The SAM e and accutane study is interesting. Since I am restarting low dose 1/4 tab weekly of Propecia, I think I might start SAM e. I have already added folic acid and glutathione. Interestingly, some say when they restart Fin, they might feel a little better initially but then worse. Maybe this is from further depleting the above. I will post more in my log.

Might be worth adding a b-complex that includes choline too. From the study it mentions this;

Recently, impaired methyl group metabolism has been implicated as a contributor to depressive symptoms. This is attributed to a deficiency or depletion of folate, other B-vitamins, choline, and SAM3.

Yea. Will do and report back. I have thought I felt better on choline in the past.

here I collected the PFS bloods test. and as we can see from these tests. As i said tetrafolate is ZERO in PFS patients. Glutathione is zero also

Dont forget FIN binds NADPH and lowers it, so people who lived on fin for years like 5 -10 years, you will be living without Glutathione for years.

this means that you had the same disorder like autists have. You got so toxic in your brain with heavy metals that it is not even funny and liver.

SO for you to get back to pre FIN, it will be like fixing an autistic child.

@hairsuit

In my opinion that's logical. But that's also mean that for some people biochemical path,like TEI, won't help in my opinion. You will need CCSVI treatment in my opinion. MS/Autism/PFS is just result. Life is not Harry Potter book.
Just look at hopeforrecovery log. Everything seems to match that he have problems with veins. Fin cause his veins to create knots. Maybe also decalcification of bones, so it may be pressure on some nerves/veins by spine parts. Consider this:

,,.... In 2009, new research was released by Dr. Paolo Zamboni of Italy. He felt he had discovered another possible cause of MS that was unrelated to the immune system. He found that all of the MS patients he tested had narrowings in their jugular veins (drainage from the brain) and therefore had a build up of iron in the brain which caused the lesions. When he performed angioplasty on the narrowings, the patients MS symptoms improved'''

that surgery was performed many times already without any effect. TEi improves your anxiodiant systems your glutathione so you stop atherosclerosis which is happening because of low glutathione

glutathione itself wont do anything at all. since you need oxidation and antoxidation increased atthe same time in PFS

metabolism is low in PFS and feeding just glutathione could cause major problems

I disagree with you beacuse technical side of performing surgery is developing. Most advanced center is already in Wrocław. I post once at hackstasis video of pre and post. Just imagine what can Fin do with you veins if you consider what can do with your gums.
CCSVI mechnism just show us that human body have weak points, which are easily affected with stresors:
Expert CCSVI Testing and Diagnosis - Autonomic Nervous System Testing

For most of people weak point is mainly in neck. For minority Neck + others. That's my point.

Second thing that support my point is that you have correct state that people had problem Prefin. They were balding in young age. They had weak circulation in their head (mainly beacuse their mothers feed them by reast too short).

Autism link is just so real. Especially those suffering from major mental side who are flooded with pathogens, toxins ruining their system.

It’s funny- since 2011 I’ve had CFS/Lyme. my healthiest was actually during pfs after I treated Lyme and pretty much beat it to good degree in late ‘17 early ‘18.

But Lyme with PFS before treatment and when it recurred (this past summer till now) is so much worse than pre pfs.

Pre-pfs Lyme just did not annihilate my gut, my brain the way this has. My body had hard time with stress, but I would normally come back to feeling normal-ish if I took a day or two of rest.

PFS Lyme is just another ball game and the system needs a lot more help at feeling stable on your average day. I think body just has such harder time detoxing ammonia with the low glutathione.

I did get better from it though before. I’m actually planning on running pretty exact regiment beginning next week. Will be on antidepressant (mirtazapine- hopefully will help gaba-a restoration while I know will control cortisol which I need most) and beginning a month long antibiotic regiment followed by LLLT/Rife, herbal treatment as I plan to run more fasting/electrolytes/ herbs/ urine/ norvaline afterward.

As I did in late 2017 and early 2018 which essentially cured me to good degree.

I think a lot of us are in similar ballpark to I was in. Just a diagnosis (Lyme) gave me the opportunity to get on my feet. So thankful I fixed it first time to good degree as I got sexuality back say 60-70% at this point in time lol I’ve been horny lately.

I think our PFS community would do so much better if we went to doctor and were all told we were “autistic” and to follow Klindhardt type model.

Instead we are told it’s all hormonal and people just experiment and experiment and with little success.
@Helen im confused on the Folinic Acid. Since I have the MTHFR mutation, shouldn’t I have to use methylated B?
Me too? Folinic acid can be terrible for MTHFR mutations and cause more of a methylation block. It would put certain people in an even more state of folate deficiency. That’s why everyone’s genes need to be ran first.

Without SaME there cant be adrenaline. so no fat metabolism. If there is no fat metabolism, and no carnitine, then androgens will be not allowed. since body will burn protein for fuel and not for anabolism.

But as we see here, SAH is high, so SAH or homocysteine don't rotate further, and thus Same cant even be made from methionine.

I'm still taking SAMe in a low dose (suggested co-factors are active B6, B12 and methyfolate - I'm taking an active B-complex which has all these and choline too). I've read it takes a month or two for SAMe levels to build up if you're low, so presumably it's stored in the body somewhere?

Do you think it's worth adding in anything else? Ie Carnitine? I've previously done well on Carnitine + b-vits (great for mental clarity)

What does this look like in a person with no fat metabolism? Muscle loss and increased fat accumulation? High cortisol?
