I’ll be the first! I really think this is gonna be the cure for me. All my problems relate back to my adrenal insufficiency!

What makes you think you have adrenal insufficiency? Didn't you say you tested high for DHEA-S, thats an adrenal steroid which would indicate adrenal hyperactivity. All-trans retinoic acid-induced hypothalamus–pituitary–adrenal hyperactivity involves glucocorticoid receptor dysregulation This paper indicates that accutane causes HPA hyperactivity by preventing glucocorticoids such as cortisol from exerting negative feedback on the hypothalamus. This is in part mediated by preventing glucocorticoid receptor function. If these effects remain beyond accutane use (BIG IF), we would have hyperactive or overactive adrenal glands as there is diminished negative feedback. If this paper has relevance, our problems may revolve around glucocorticoid insensitivity. I'm researching and writing some info about this as we speak.

If glucocorticoid receptor theory works, then our symptoms would be very similar/identical to the symptoms of adrenal insufficiency/fatigue as these conditions are caused by a lack of cortisol production, leading to less cortsiol/glucocorticoid receptor activation. Which has the same end result of cortisol/glucocorticoid receptor insensitivity.

Given this, RU would help as it antagonizes glucocorticoid receptor, which would upregulate glucocorticoid receptors and make our bodies more sensitive/responsive to glucocortcoids.

Bloods on TRT at 100mg/week

DHEAS 3600 ug/L 1000 - 4000

OESTRADIOL (E2) * 200 pmol/L <150

PROGESTERONE * 3 nmol/L <3

Testosterone 26 nmol/L 10.0 - 33.0

SHBG 25 nmol/L 13 - 71 (older result)

Electrolytes, Liver Function, Kidney Function and Cholesterol tests all normal

LH and FSH are 0

do you know how long after accutane this was? Its very interesting that your progesterone is at the top of the range, this could be a great thing to target. Is it possible progesterone is this high becaue you were on TRT?

Do you have sexual sides?

Wow I really think ru is our miracle here boys. I personally think everyone is running it too short for it to do anything. I’m gonna run it for about 3 weeks at 200mg a day

Did you say you tested high for progesterone after accutane? Have you had any more tests for progesterone?

I ve only got my testosterone levels done. Took isotretinoin in July 2015 when I was 20 years old.

July 2016 teststerone - 370 ng/dl (240-900)
july 2017 testosterone - 540 ng/dl
august 2017 testerone - 571 ng/dl

Doctors laughably say these levels are okay. I will get more blood tests done. Can you suggest which ones to take
I just saw Irwin Goldstein. T- 400 and DHT was like 23. He says these are too low. I was perscribed synthetic T and an Anti-estrogen pill to take as well. Haven’t started them and worry they will further set back my bodies production. Doppler shows significant fibrosis. Injury which I have no recollection of is suspected. I also suspect accutane is a problem. I have always had difficulty with anxiety and self esteem. This only compounds things. I just found this forum. I am hoping for reversal. I’m pretty broken by the findings. Good luck. If you find a post accutane protocol please share

It's good to share results. Unfortunately, I highly doubt the solution is going to be hormonal. Maybe try out one for Gbol's protocols. Just stay active on the forum. It's good to have as many PAS people as possible
