Long-term treatment with antidepressants increases glucocorticoid receptor binding and gene expression in cultured rat hippocampal neurones | Request PDF

Interferon-α-induced modulation of glucocorticoid and serotonin receptors as a mechanism of depression

Antidepressants enhance glucocorticoid receptor function in vitro by modulating the membrane steroid transporters

As we also got the study recently which shows hypermethylation and changes in epigenome , this all matches the above studies, that show that GR receptor is OVEREXPRESSED in PSSD.

this explains low metabolism in people , some people have low ACTH ,low cortisol.

Also people that I saw tests from have high histidine in urine or in blood. meaning that there is no conversion of histidine into histamine

Cortisol controls conversion of histidine into histamine. and if GR is overexpessed. Cortisol stops this conversion. this forces the body to close down NADPH and zinc finger.

so Zinc is being lost and b1 is not being spent , and NADPH is being killed by NADPH oxidase. this is why B2 is so low, since NADPH oxidase is FAD enzyme

Zinc finger is the receptor of DHT also. SO DHT i usually high in these people and androgen receptor is also gets overexpressed. Also 3-adiol levels is usually low. since the body tries to conserv DHT.

Could be also DAO components problem. or ALDH and AO( aldehyde)

@Helen, if the Androgen-Receptor is "overexpressed" could that potentially create a "hyper-metabolic" state or like a Brain-Racing state?
I ask that because I've ALWAYS noticed that WHEN I get effects from strong-androgens, they ALWAYS hit the Brain first and I get mostly mental effects...whereas effects on Muscle typically come later or take EXTRA doses to show up????
My SHBG is normal - and my E2 is (generally) on the low-end (but Normal!)...
So you would think I would get more muscle-based effects.
But like I've been on Test-E for 5-weeks now and it took 'til week 4 and even when I used Test-Prop to "fast-track" the results...I mainly got INCREASED MOTIVATION without any additional muscle-hardness or vascularity???

I think overexpression of the AR is a compensation for the bad DNA binding. may be.

So if you took a lot of DHTs, that could cause you to lose a lot of zinc. and then DNA binding is weak.

And if you take strong steroids. You feel zinc def?

Man , you take all these steroids in big dosages, but the thing is the less is more. I mean of course overtime you will have the tolerance

Well I pin test-e @500 mg /week which is standard dosage. Then test prop i do at 200 mg EOD for first week, now I only do 50 mg test-prop EOD.
I also use Mast at 600/week, and proviron 50mg/day as well as Anavar & Winny...overkill?

Does supplementing even work while on gear or will you just piss it out
What do you mean? You can take ANY Supplements while on Gear. UNLESS you are on MAJOR diuretics or over-doing the AI; such as Adex or Letro - you aren't (necessarily) going to be PISSING more...Only if you deplete E2 into uncomfortable proportions.

Your body lowers zinc for a reason bc your test is too high and body wants to lower it. Then you supplement & I assume piss out zinc immediately. This is what I mean

BTW, @Helen.
32% Eastern Europe or Russian, although 14% of that is Polish so I guess I'm ONLY 18% RUSSIAN LOL.
Although Ukrainian is included in that as well, so probably more like 16.5 % Russian, I am.
Guess you got me BEAT, huh? LOL.
