Hey fellows

I just got my ARL test results back which are attached and looking to start my ARL program once the supps arrive and wanted to start a log to welcome any feedback and also help other people make soke sense on what’s going on with us.

I’m a pfs and Minoxidil suffer for over 8 years. Low libido / loss of sensation/ ED / premature ejaculation / sleep problems / a little brain fog. Took fin on/off for about 6 months 8 years ago - haven’t touched it since. Minoxidil I took for about 3 months prior to fin.

I also developed what I thought was silent reflux where I get the feeling of having to keep clearing my throat and also a congested nose, this all started after stopping fin 8 years ago and has never resolved it self.

I also get leg twitches when I’m in a rested state, usually in bed. I got it checked out by the doc a while ago and she said it wasn’t restleg leg syndrome and referred me to a specialist but never took it any further.

I’ll keep you all updated once my supps arrive and start the ARL program by catherine which is likely to be in a few weeks.

Since I’m a slow oxidizer I’m thinking of investing in the Lourdes hydroyden machine after a month on the ARL program. The reason why I’m holding off is due to its price and I want to see how I respond to ARL first and also learn how other people respond to the hydrogen water, but I’m pretty sure I’ll get one as I’m focused on beating this after all these years and hoping it might at least help with the leg twitches or throat issues.

Your welcome to ask me anything but I don’t understand any of this stuff and I’ll be following what ever the ARL program asks me to do to keep it all simple and see how I respond.

I’ve also been doing CD nuts protocol for around 6 months and noticed a few improvements so wondering if it’s ok to keep doing this while doing ARL?

Hey @Snow1 good luck and I'm hoping for some improvements for you...

it's funny, the leg twitch ... for restless leg syndrome, they prescribe pramipexole which is a dopamine agonist and prolactin antagonist which we know effects us very negatively... I wonder if, once you balance out, that improves... or a round of prami is needed...

Either way, good luck !

When you say you've noticed improvements on CD, what do you think has improved?
I feel a little more sharper in the brain, and getting more consistent harder night/evening erections - however during the day is still non existent and no improvements yet on sensitivity.

I’m wondering if I can continue CD nuts protocol while doing ARL balancing or if I should put the CD nuts protocol on hold for 6 months or so when the ARL supps arrive.

Thanks buddy, we don’t see you much on the forum these days - hope your recovery is treating you well.

If it were me, I'd probably just go with the ARL but I don't know. Sorry I can't be of greater help.

I would try at least 2 rounds of ARL tests/supps without herbs, because many of cdsnuts herb powders and extracts are mineral dense, which could disrupt the balance that ARL supps are trying to achieve. I'd definitely stay with the cdsnuts lifestyle/exercise, though, so long as you tolerate the exercise well. I do pretty much all of cdsnuts lifestyle recommendations with ARL, minus the heavy lifting/HIIT since I don't tolerate it well at the moment.

After 6 months of ARL balancing and a break from the herbs, I bet you could see an even more potent effect from them. It'll definitely be a test of will, though, because if you're anything like me and many if the other guys here on ARL, you'll probably see an increase in symptoms that you wouldn't experience in cdsnuts protocol.

Good call, thanks mate. Does anyone have some good experiences doing both hydrogen water and ARL at the same time, or is that potential for too much detoxing at the one time? Thinking I might get the Lourdes hydrofix after a month on ARL and add it to the protocol, thinking if I started both at the same time it could be too taxing on the body.

Hi Fellows

I wanted to check in on my log as my 3 month ARL program supplements have arrived. I plan on starting the ARL program including the recommended diet for a slow oxidizer next Friday so it gives me time to prepare for the diet change.

Below is my 6 month plan, I want to keep this as simple as possible for me and do it in phases so if I notice good/bad sides it's easy for me to understand what could be causing it.

First Phase - One Month
ARL Supps + Slow Oxidizer diet
Coffee Enemas 3 days a week
Coconut water after every meal for electrolytes + Digestive Enzyme
Float tank once every two weeks. (Magnesium floatation bath)

Second Phase - Five Months
All of the above
Hydrogen Water from Lourdes hydrofIx - start with just a cup a day and slowly build up to 1.5 L
At some stage later during the second phase i'll look at introducing HCL + Amino acids

I'm wiling to follow this protocol for 6 months to see where this gets me but I have some questions for those that have done ARL balancing or H2 water.

@Helen @TubZy @bruschi11 & anyone else who has been through ARL or H2 - looking for guidance...

When starting ARL does it mess with brain fog at all? I'm starting a management role in a new company next week and I need to be highly switched on.
There has been talk on the forums of ARL messing with sleep in the early stages, how long does this last for?
There has been talk of H2 water messing with sleep in the early stages, how long does this last for?
Is there any particular digestive enzymes that is recommended?
Willing to give up drinking alcohol, however if I was to have one night out once a month (no drugs) would this interfere much with the balancing program? i still want to feel normal and be able to socialise with friends for special events.
Is there anything I have missed out in my plan I should include? - Keeping in mind I want to keep this as simple as possible so only want to add things if it's crucial.

I think you’ll be able to feel your body out as to what you can and can’t tolerate. That’s in terms of alcohol.

But the first week or two or even 3 you might have some tough symptoms on ARL. It really depends on person.

Thanks buddy, I didn't think it was going to be easy - I can handle headaches and digestive issues for a few weeks it's more the mental sides i'm worried about affecting my ability to think clearly, communicate well and make decisions.

So, I initially did a month of TE supplements. After this time, I felt better in all facets than I have for years. More energy, better sleep and great libido (I'm not PFS but libido has always been on the lower side). Sadly, I believe I noticed increased hair shedding (the very thing I'm trying to halt by being on TE supplements) so took a break for a few weeks. I've been back on for a week after @Helen said that shedding should be temporary. I've been a bit restless this week and flat with people, but hoping this subsides.

I think @hairsuit had an alleviation of brain fog quite early into his ARL supplementation program but he would be able to tell you more.

Thanks mate, having better sleep is a good win! I think we just need to stick to programs in hope the negative sides decrease while the positives come flowing in!

Hey, dont forget. that your body chemistry can change also. SO you need retests to adjust your program. Also many time chelation can happen and this will causes side effect in the beginning.

P.S you cant start the program and just sit on it for 6 months. Especially form the start. I think at the start body chemstry can change rapidly and you need to keep adjusting it until you go into your real oxidation. It can take up to 6 months just to go into your real oxidation and then the supplements can be taken for longer periods of time, like 6 months or even a year without retests

Thanks Helen, I should have mentioned I plan on getting another hair test after 3 months.

What sort of side effects can you expect during chelation?

@Snow1 @Concerned, yes. In the beginning, I would say second week in, hit me pretty hard. Had brain fog heading into ARL, but by second week it hammered me. Was actually difficult driving. Adrenal fatigue symptoms. Crashing hard in the afternoon. There was one day where you can see on my log, I was thinking,” if this persists, it’s bye bye world”. But it passed. Like @bruschi11 and @Helen have stated, I believe that detox is big coinciding with ARL. Coffee Ememas, liver/gallbladder flushes have all helped in pushing stuff out. Hydrogen water has helped. I feel fantastic, were it not for the pesky sexual sides. Those are the last hold out. I think it remains to be seen if ARL can tackle those. Sure hope it can.

Thanks for your feedback Hairsuit, sounds like you had a hard detox! But good for you for trucking on and getting some good outcomes. Did your sexual sides become worse at all on ARL?

Did you follow the diet plan as well? How long have you been on ARL and are you still doing it?

The sides of detox scare me a little especially starting a new job with pressures and expectations but I think I just have to try and see how it goes.

I didn’t do the diet plan. I eat pretty clean as it is. Hard to say what difference it would have made.

Been on ARL for almost two months now. Will probably retest at the end of month 2. Sexual sides worsening?......... I don’t believe so. That said, things were not great to begin with, so there’s nowhere to go but up. Lol. Wouldn’t have noticed if it was worse or not. The detoxes, while they can be intense, don’t seem to last for long stretches. Just come in spurts. Also, Epsom salt baths to draw everything out helped a lot as well.

Thanks, Good advice on the salt baths, did you do them when you felt side effects coming on or throughout the few weeks in general when it got tough?

Be interested to know if the others doing ARL follows the diet 100%
