-I asked a similar q. Ideally do not. Will you get sick or go crazy if you do? Highly doubt it.
--- TEI means nothing else for most part. Obviously no ones perfect... but still.
--I asked, Helen, said: no enemas this and that on TEI. Just TEI.
-I.e. the supps, diet recommended, exercise etc.
-I'm sure it CAN be done... but I think most did not.
-Dutch test should 3-Beta-HSD deficiency... or something along those lines. Can't recall exactly.

Update:
- Muscular pain worse with excessive skin dryness and stiffness
- Will send sample early next week for 2nd TEI test
- Had half pint beer a few days back and hangover was ridiculous. Felt as if my head has dehydrated with brain fog and difficulty concentrating
- SERIOUSLY considering a fast (will try 2-3 day water fast first)

good stuff
even few d might help a bit
i get no hangovers on vodka really (under 7-8 shots/ no hangover). but feel bad for other reasons. --namely its a bs habit.
--i never drink beer. - scotch, maybe some hangover. - crown royal - fat all of a sudden (water weight, bad digestion). beer messed me up even before i realized there were any other health issues, i can't tolerate hops and barley and all that bs.
--feel damn good cutting on water fast. im doing it bc god knows when cda post will give me my stuff - it hasn't been long.

Update

I have sent out sample for TEI retest. While sample is getting re-tested, I’m taking TEI supplements but reduced frequency due to digestive issues. But this is not the reason for my post today:) ..it’s below:

Yesterday, had fever and my body temperature was over 99 F after a very long time (usually is around 95-96 after finasteride). This could mean a first step to healing and TEI might have done something....correct?

On a short 1.5 day water fast to see if I can manage a longer fast. So far, it has been good and definitely felt better overall (too early to point out specifics).

From a recent blood work, it seems iron levels are a bit high in blood. If I remember previous finasteride theories, one of the discussion point was about iron getting deposited in body. So, my increased levels could be pointing to that..

Also, have a lump on back of the neck for over a week and it started getting smaller but again increased in size. My doctor thinks it’s viral infection.

What kind of lump on the back of your neck?
It could be an enlarged lymph node as told by doctor. However after shrinking over last week, it increased in size again today. Not sure if it is only due to an infection or something muscular too (had massage last week) which is causing irritation and making things worse.

Lump is not painful however surrounding skin definitely feels irritated and also has pain behind right ear.

I have received my TEI retest report (attached).

Overall, ratios such as Zn/Cu have improved and both Na and K went down (as absolute). My supplement Reco stays the same as still slow 4.

Any inputs?

Not yet started 2nd TEI cycle as taking antibiotics to heal an infection. Will start next cycle very soon.

Just received my Dutch test kit- this will give another perspective on what’s going on with hormones.

TEI has helped to a limited extent however since I used pubic hair, I don’t think I got the level of benefits many others experienced on this forum. As a next step, planning to order a scalp test however Catherine is not responding for last 3-4 weeks so might take longer for retest.

I have a presentation coming up and planning to use phosphatidylserine to control anxiety and improve concentration. Does that seems good idea? I’m currently not taking TEI supps.

I think it would be fine. To be honest, best performance zero anxiety - I'd take nothing, as long as (i don't know 8-12) my habits are in place.
Otherwise maybe something, but in general -- things that make me smarter, better, more focused... make me less sociable, less outgoing, less charismatic a bit.
Not all of them, but a lot. For instance... When I did take dex, and similarly if I did take choline -- I'd use it to PREP for an interview or do the work to realize what it is I want to inteview for. MOST interviews, I'd be ok on them (one for sure, and I expect the other in moderation however, it is a different feel to "normal" a bit). However, I'd be happier, actually smile, not be as agitated... off of it. Sometimes it calls for it though, like if otherwise, I'd be late, or barely slept... or realistically I would not prepare till last minute. Same with a lot of things, like presentations. I've done them nervous, and very well.

I've done them all stimmed out (most are crap except for 2 I can think of). I think for me, presentations, I might run into an issue, of being QUIET--or too quiet during it, on Alpha GPC or Citocholine. --- AGPC has phosphatidylserine. Note, this happens to a lot, not to everyone.

Also, I've done enough school presentations high/wired, hungover, many, with zero sleep (most?). -- Alone, they were almost always great. 5-10 idiot group members? yeah I got lost... Went in the wrong order, was paired with crybabies, etc.

Work is more natural, can BS easier. Schools filled with either millenial snowflakes or old elitists on the other side (hence, better on own).
If it's a solo presentation, you could practice a bit... on phosphatidylserine and off. ---Well, that could be done if it's a group presentation too -- it may just be tougher to arrange.

@Helen @Boris @Goose12 @Everyone
I have received my DUTCH test results today. Some of the key takeaways are:
1. Low Testosterone
2. High Estrogen (all variants)
3. Low DHT
4. 5 alpha preference
5. Total DHEA in range
6. Free total Cortisol in range but sudden drop below low range in afternoon
7. Glutathione marker below range
8. B12 marker below range
9. More cortisone THE than THF

Attached are some pages. Interested in knowing what you guys think?

Note: I felt better on Ella in past.

This is very interesting to see... not even just for the numbers, the chart in general does a really good job of visualizing how all these hormones are related. I've never really understood the relationships before, so this is very interesting to see to help me in understanding things (at least a tiny bit...)

I hope @Helen or someone else can use it to help you. I'd be willing to get one as well, if it would be helpful in fixing me!

I was hoping to get some more inputs or insights from all of you. Any more thoughts on my result?

My T is extremely low and wondering if it makes sense to re-try Ru or Ella or tribulus etc before restarting TEI? I’m confused to be honest

It's definitely interesting results and the more data we have the better, but the basic answer is stick to tei. It doesn't matter if you have perfect blood hormones, if you still feel like shit. So don't worry about them.

The results fall in line with Helens theory, increased 5a reductase. Your test is crazy low and your e is crazy high. Tei will fix all of this. It will just take time. Stick with the program and live your life. Before you know it you will be getting better and eventually cured. Also issues you didn't realize you had will get better.

Maybe one day Helen can fast track a cure. What ever that cure is will probably be a cure for everything. What we are doing is similar to fighting cancer. Our bodies are so screwed up we are stuck like this.
