After deciding to up my salt intake to fix a sodium deficiency and lower my aldosterone I got 3 painfull mouth ulcers , and now Im beggining to have some new acne.I understand that sodium is an alkaline mineral that could cause some detoxification to occur but what could explain the mouth ulcers?

I've always gotten canker sores my whole life. This fall I was eating tons of spinach each day (a whole bag), and I think it aggravated it a LOT. I had one sore that was huge and lasted an entire month. I think it caused some sort of nerve damage/scarring because it still feels weird and tingles when I run my tongue over the area 3 months after it healed.

I moved to putting the spinach in berry smoothies and this entirely fixed the problem.

hey man i too have gotten these my whole life then in early 2016 i got them so freaking much like never didnt have one and at times multiple ones at once...
after i switched to Sodium Lauryl Sulfate free toothpaste i have gotten 3 in the last year in a half and they are no where near as painful. i would recommend getting a toothpaste without this ingredient as its a known irritant of the mouth.

That's a good idea at @IHateFin. I had some of those canker sore/ similar things before.
I also always tried to use SLS-free shampoos and conditioners (Babybee) when I was (slightly vain about hair).
I always checked this dermatology/cosmetic product site which tells us how toxic any product is. I stopped doing that bc it was a little much.
I think it was this Skin Deep® Cosmetics Database | EWG
