I've been contemplating this for awhile now because a few years ago libido was about 35 percent for a solid 3 months after taking 500mg for 30 days..which is great for me.

I read women Miss their periods on it and @Helen saying it affects prog.
So here I go with a test to see if it was the antibiotic helping at the time or something else.. I'm in between hair tests.. waiting for results after 5 arl cycles so this is the best time to experiment a little.. will keep you all posted.

Last time libido and raging night wood kicked in about 2 weeks into it

30 days on 250mg of Azithromycin reversed my muscle wasting. I loved the feeling having weight on my bones again. Of course within a couple weeks after the 30 day course, muscle wasting returned.
I don’t know if it was the 3 beta hsd that reversed my muscle wasting. If so, would love to find an alternative method to increasing 3beta had.

Helen just made a post yesterday saying b6 will increase progresterone.

They've given me b6 to take because my magnesium is low on HTMA - whats your magnesium like?

--I took baking soda and B50 and Hcl and Mg, ALL the time, outside of TEI over the last yr. Helped some stuff/ but mostly did it bc of nutritional imbalance caused by some stims, but also to potentiate said stim, as well as restore dopamine perhaps (or increase receptor density, I don't know about all that. But to be slightly dopamine agonistic and anti prolactin. SO, also when I did PCT (which was a lot)). Baking soda is neither here nor there really, but something that may help snap out of alkalosis, again mostly I used that to stretch out a stim. On tei/ I wouldn't take that stuff, but some of it was given in the supps recommended (tho with the addition of a hell of a lot more things).

My first 2 cycles, there was Mg and B all over the place. I shall see myself out.

Wouldn't baking soda keep you in alkalosis?
I use it on occasion via Alka seltzer gold when I need a quick turnaround from heartburn..

I may have said that backwards. not sure... maybe keeps in acidosis, i think it was vageuly mentioned here back in the day. I mostly did it because it makes ADHD medicine work better (stronger, faster, harder hitting, less duration tho -- kind of technically slightly abuse, but I don't do it all the time). AND I waited like 1.5 years to take it (since PFS mini and full crash occurred). After fasting, vegan, electrolytes, randro, pct, spinach etc.

Maybe it does the opposite, I'm not sure. But I think it could have been useful. Right now keeps me super dehydrated and skinny (180's not too too skinny but it is versus 190 or 195), which is not ideal but I think that this is mostly not doing weights for a few months due to a back injury, metabolism increasing, and focusing on calisthenics for fitness (as it was less straining on my back).

Edit: Must have been really tired, I didn't complete most my thoughts above until later. Missed a stupid apptmt too.

I'm thinking about a low dose after I confirm..as a last resort backup.

It would be nice to isolate the prog boost without the antibiotic aspect.. I've gone thru 2 bottles of p5p (b6) and zinc for borderline pyyroluria.. no noticeable changes

I’m taking p5p as well. Haven’t noticed anything.

Coincidentally I'm on this now but let me explain...

The week of 5/12 I had a great week, libido, etc... I didn't attribute that to the zpack which I was on due to strep throat...

Now I believe there's a fungal or gut issue for PFS ... not 100% the issue but I think something is there...

well I got strep again but I was already planning a long course... so starting 6/11 I started 1000mg zpack and 500mgs daily since, though I added Augmentin too starting this past Sunday 6/16...

I'll be continuing Augmenting for 14 days total and 500mgs azrithro to at least 6/30... and, oddly, yesterday was a decent return of libido... sooooo I'm with ya @Ocguy for this trial

One of you guys should copy his exact regimen, I don't see anyone on that thread that actually copied him and tried it

I can get the metronidazole, but paromomycin sure is a tough one! I'm tempted to run it, then leave it a few weeks. I still need to do post-RU bloods, so hopefully this won't screw it up any.

Could probably find them if you search under "fish antibiotics" if you can't find them anywhere else. I would get RU bloods done first before you try anything new

I tried to do it a year ago, but I had a bad reaction to the flagyl, low blood pressure, dizziness..so I went on a few other antiparasitics.. didn't notice any changes.. but by all means go for it.. who knows.

There's definitely bad bugs that are taking advantage of our situation and they keep us ill
