Troy, we need to see the reason why cortisol is raised

Cortisol rises to get inflammation down, or to get amino acids into the blood.

So it can be raised since you had low stomach acid, or it can be raised since histamine is too high

HIstamines can be too high, since you have lacking copper, or b6 or vitamin C, or histidine. or magnesium

B6 is made by B2.

This is why we have to make sure, is it copper or b2 which is rising your cortisol.

Cortisol was wasting your potassium. thus potassium helps you , but now we have to lower cortisol, otherwise it will waste potassium again.

The nutrients I wrote above needed . But which one is the limiting the the question.

This is why the complete electrolytes protocol would have recovered you already to 100%.

Another possibility that your CORTISOL was too sensitive before. FInasteride made cortisol and AR too much. And thus you have low DHT and was wasting potassium.
Is copper dependent on any b vitamins at all? If I am low in any bs, will this cause copper to be low? Or stay low?

I feel normal except for low estrogen which comes from my low copper

I wrote to you in the previous things about things which should be considered and you talk about copper again.

Copper mightbe not available if you dont have enough histidine. or b2 , you need to understand that.

DAO enzyme which breaks down histamine, is based on histidine, copper b2 b6.

SO if histidine is low. you can have super high histamine reactions , and thus cortisol goes up

Low production of histamine , sometimes causes high high crazy reactions to it.

SO it could be that your histamine is high, and cortisol is high.

Or it could be that you have low histamine and low cortisol @HerrFisch

Oh right interesting.

I’ll check my b2 when it comes back.

I took a heap of whey when I took the potassium so I’d have got a fair bit of histidine out of that. I have histidine here on its own anyway so can always try that if my b2 comes back normal.

With "histamines" are you talking about histamine or histamine reactions ?

I dont see the situation where there is high cortisol which inhibits histamine production but you still have high histamine.
Both Fast or slow, cortisol is the best hdc inhibitor.

Cortisol is low in slow oxidizer

I understand that cortisol is HDC inhibitor

if DAO is not working because of copper. def. Cortisol will slow down Histidine into histamine conversion and will lower already high histamine

In slow oxidizer, histidine by increasing histamine and adrenaline puts more potassium in the cell which increases cortisol

So cortisol should go up and down with histamine in the perfect body chemistry

Cortisol should limit excessive histamine, it does not lower HDC to zero. only excessive.

In some cases where cortisol is raised uncontrollably, this will lower histamine and adrenaline too much and waste potassium.

And this person will have histamine reactions.

Yes, but I still dont see a case where you have high histamine (levels) with high cortisol for a longer time period.

Who told you about high histamine with high cortisol?

If there is no DAO. then histamines will be high, and this will cause high cortisol.

And high cortisol will lower the high histamines. So its not both being high. DAO is not the only way to get rid of histamine.
DAO is mostly the enzyme in your colon.

you just told troy ?

If histamines are high since there is a dao problem, cortisol will never be able to compensate all the way. they will still stay high. or on top the range.

I have it checked many times, I have people with crazy high histamine in blood and crazy high cortisol

Well, cant argue that.

I still think if you have high cortisol (not normal) that there wont be much histamine production. + you have methylation HNMT and MAO to break down histamine.
It might be a short term situation, but not long term in my eyes.

Could not having copper being available due to histidine or b2 result in my low copper in my hair test?

you are not supposed to have high cortisol with low histamine.

Methylation that is cellular histamine.

Dude, I am telling you the same thing 20 times already )) YES
Haha just doing my due diligence before I decide my plan of action when I get my b1 and b2 bloods back.

I ticked urgent on the form so I’ll ring the lab tomorrow to see if that has shortened the wait.

@Helen

Final results in.

Zinc 14.4 umol/L (9.0 - 19.0)
Copper 17 umol/L (12 - 22)

B1 200 nmol/L (66 - 200)
B2 230 nmol/L (180 - 470)

@Helen

So with copper low in hair test but normal in blood, and with b1 high in blood and b2 low, is it just as simple as taking b2 for me?

Which will get b1 to b2 ratio balanced - get b1 down to get cortisol down and get b2 up to get copper working.

Am I correct in this approach? Anything else I need to consider first?
