Yes definitely a big part of my pfs has gone away. Feels like there might be two parts. I also have (or had, havent tested in a little while) high blood pressure. This could be related to the high cortisol?

yes Cortisol needs to come down. otherwise it will waste your potassium again.

Good to know, I had a mini panic attack yesterday evening, bp spiked to almost 170/90. This morning it was 140/70

So you see blood pressure is coming down it seems

May be try to increase some mushroooms

do the bloods for calcium and magnesium
Did my progesterone level or aldosterone results offer any clues?

Progesterone 1.1 nmol/L (0.7 - 4.3)
Aldo (erect) 447 pmol/L (100 - 950)
Renin (erect) 40 mU/L (3.3 - 41)
Aldo/Renin R 11 (<70)

NO, it seems that sodium potassium got balanced.

I had really low calcium when I had low potassium.

so lets wait for calcium thing

may be there is a copper problem

My gut instincts say copper problem. I got worse after taking garlic tablets. Much worse. I think they chelate copper.

But how do we fix a copper problem?

it could be also b2 problem. and not copper.

we need to see magnesium and potassium

May be cortisol is raised since there is little cysteine. or b2. or zinc even.

Did you test copper zinc in blood

Not sure if I told you. Prior to propecia I took aladara. A cream for warts. It's an immune system modifier. You put it on one wart and immune system is altered and all warts on body go. I assume it releases more cytokines.

Aldara - Uses, Side Effects, Interactions - Canoe.com

Not sure if this impacts the copper situation at all.

No didn’t test copper or zinc in blood.

Zinc is high on hair test abd copper is low on hairtest.

Wow this doesn't make sense at all, so sodium prevents CO2 wasting ? LOL the body could downregulate sodium in order to retain more CO2, I think you have written the same thing some time ago, and it is basically the opposite of what ray peat says and I would know the references for his claims

Helen old post:"So extra Co2 will allow body to use FATS for energy. since extra CO2 will allow adrenaline. Without Co2, there is no adrenaline. Since adrenaline will activate sympathetic nervous system and blow out the Co2.
this is why you see high Co2 level on most people blood tests. with CFS, diabetes, etc. Body is retaining CO2, to have tiny amounts of adrenaline. Those people are hypothyroid with high CO2 levels. If you increase Co2 levels of those people, it allows them to burn fat instead of protein. But it lowers sugar metabolism further. This is why it helps in cancer. It gets rid of ammonia in a situation when sugar metabolism is closed. ANd giving Co2 cant open up sugar metabolism, since it is a diuretic )) it lowers potassium. same as any CA inhibitors, like acetazolamide."

If we follow Ray Peat idea that sodium increases retention of co2 then it means sodium increases adrenaline through the increase in co2, but you says adrenaline will lower co2.

I think there is a lot of confusion about that that needs to be clarified.

You also told me I have no aldosterone action, my aldosterone in urine was middle range

No, high doses of b1 make me feel likr shit. 100-200mg make me feel the best, perfect energy libido and such. But the higher i go the lower libido goes. Just tried b1 for some short ammount of time but for me the benefits have an A curve peaking around 200mg.
Im still continuing with the normal protocol

Slayo, sodium lowers need for adrenaline ,not just adrenaline. meaning that less tyrosine goes into adrenaline branch and more of it goes into thyroid and also less of dopamine to noadrenaline conversion branch

this increases thyroid, and thus lowers progesterone and increases cortisol.

Since thyroid is increased on sugar and thyroid is decreased on fats.

Ray Peat clearly tells you in that video , sodium lowers adrenaline. I agree with him

retaining CO2 and making Co2 is 2 different things.

I said increasing CO2( taking it from the outside) does not increase thyroid , but allows you to run in adrenaline more which keeps metabolism LOW but you have less side effects of running in adrenaline in low Co2 environment,

And killing adrenaline need we increase thyroid which will create CO2 , not retain it. And this Co2 will then allow both cortisol and adrenaline work.

When I sit in a high sodium water (2g per litre) for 1-2 hours I definitely notice more dopamine afterwards, its easier to laugh.
But at the same time until this high sodium stays in me I have increased anger, hate very much. No wonder high sodium people are constantly angry and short tempered. Also when I take a lot of salt or did salt scrubs I pissed all night, Im pissing all of the sodium out.
When I was taking isolated B1 alone it also helped me.

Whenever I crash my potassium levels with high dose of salt, sitting in thermal water rich in sodium, coffee enemeas or not eating for 2-3 days.
Then I reload my potassium and music, motivation starts to come back, also muscles get pumped.

To get this reaction to potassium is only possible if I crash myself with salt before or not eating to deplete potassium etc.
Otherwise If I keep my potassium intake high and constatnly loading, nothing happens.

This is a mechanism that I found for myself which is working constantly, It has happend many times, and its not like a reaction to a herb that sometimes it works, sometimes not, it works every time!

I probably have high adrenaline action as my hands and feet are cold all the time, it was the same during fin, pre fin, for at least 15 years as I can think of.The only time my hands and feet are warming up If i do a long water fast and in the 3-4 weeks of refeeding period after eating they become warm.

what oxidizer are you?

what oxidizer are you?

Slow 4 on TEI, fast mixed on ARL.

I believe i have very strong andrenals, thyroid so-so, but I should be a slow oxi originally too as I had MPB recession. But my steroids were very high too.
Hard to conclude, I also had infinite energy and motivation.
Right now Im on TEI, we will see the 2nd test in 2 months.

And for now, if I eat a meal, I usually feel increased energy in 2-2.5 hours afterwards which is quiet slow too.

@Helen Ok so, this study says that low sodium is associated to higher adrenaline: Effects of low sodium diet versus high sodium diet on blood pressure, renin, aldosterone, catecholamines, cholesterol, and triglyceride. - PubMed - NCBI

But this goes against the other study I posted that says sodium increases adrenaline.

So maybe when sodium is low adrenaline increases to increases heart rate (compensating mecchanism)so if you take sodium in this situation it will lower adrenaline, but if sodium is normal and you take it it will just increase adrenaline.

What do you think aboit this ?

because sodium does different things when low and high .

Yes you got it.

All these stupid studies are so crazy most of the time. they dont show the context.

Slayo, adrenaline and cortisol will both be working in faster oxidizer.

Sodium increases thyroid. SO when thyroid goes up , cortisol will go up first, and then when thyroid goes even higher, then adrenaline will go up again.

but only now it will be working in high Co2 environemtn

this is why in fast oxidizer , giving sodium increases adrenaline, since it increases thyroid. even more

but in slow oxidizer it decreases adrenaline ,since it allows you to work first on cortisol more.

do you understand?

Ok now I have understood the logic, now everything is clear
