How much of this effect do you credit to increase in NO? Do you always make your juices with beets and spinach? I react very strongly to juicing when I include beets and can feel the immeditate nitric oxide increase. Not sure if it might be damaging or not. Maybe if one is sensitive to nitrates and not removing/inactivating the NO well?

Maybe RPF has just scared me good about NO and I need to change my view on this :p I just dont know how much is too much and if there can be instances when the body cannot self-regulate this in the case of high nitrate intake.

I tried arginine or citrulline and it I don't notice anything Lol. I mean spinach and beets both contain a lot of the co-factors to actually make NO (if that is what you mean). I have juiced other stuff besides beets and spinach preworkout and always felt good and have a great pump during workout. I think it is more related to electrolytes though from the juices.

Regarding it being damaging, I don't think it is at all. Have you seen all of mounds of the beneficial research on beets and spinach? Yeah RPF really scares you on NO, but I have taken too much NO before (i.e. cialis, viargra etc.) and got the nasty sides so I know what it feels like.

Beets don't do that all LOL since your body is regulating it.

Yes I reckon you are right. I have also noticed good things from juicing but always end up crashing my metabolism when I use things High in goitrogens. I Think maybe iodine is important if using a lot of spinach/Kale/beets. Carrots crash me as well.
Any other good suggestions for juiceable stuff? Do you use celery? Anyone else get crazy red urine from the beet juice? I get it from juice a couple glasses/cups

My piss was red when I first started juicing beets, but after a week or two I guess my body got better at metabolizing it because I stopped pissing red. I only have a cup at a time, though.

@Boris could you reiterate what veggies/fruits you are using, perhaps a list ordered by most to least used. Also do you prefer an actual juicer machine or just a blender? And how many cups of juice do you consume per day? Thanks

What do you mean by crashing? I still eat food, I just consume the juice like 30 min prior to a meal. Yeah, i did have red piss and stool for about a week then it went away lol.
I tried celery, but i makes me hold water due to all of the organic sodium in it which shows my electrolytes are functioning fully normal yet so I no longer use celery.

A few other ones Im considering is broccoli juice tol

Carrots, beets, spinach, apples and cucumber.

I do 30 ounces twice a day before meals one first thing in mornimg and other preworkout. Sometimes a do an extra 30 ounce if I feel like it.

I dont like blending it because you still get the fiber and bloats my stomach. Plus you can take in way more electrolytes at once from just juicing it. The heat and friction from high speed blenders can also damage the enzymes too from excess oxidation.

I also meant to say I'm not promoting juicing over TEI or any protocol. I wouldn't even call it a protocol at all, simply something I noticed that makes a big impact on my energy, digestion, mood etc. I just leveraged the components from the electrolytes thread and just threw them in a juicer so I absorb them and can get high doses easily as simply eating it does not give me the same effect. It is also preabsorbed so body has no choice but to absorb. So you essentially get the electrolytes, minerals, vitamins and enzymes to process everything in a safe, natural manner which your body caj regulate. I have no idea if it will work for everyone or even help, but I feel better doing it along with an easy way to hit the RDA for potassium

Cool thanks, hah nice - I wonder how much juice you would even get from brocolli. It already takes quite a bit of beets to get any real volume.

I get really cold hands and feet and shivering torso/ stomach muscles in the cold. I could be iodine deficient.. but yeah juicing really helps with digestion so I do want to like it. Let us know how the brocolli turns out. I wanna try pomegranates as well - a pain to eat them

Arginine didn't do anything for me either.

Iodine is really an amazing metal. I recently started experimenting with it and have def. gained a lot of benefits. I have no doubt I was low on it. I wouldn't say terribly deficient, but I was certainly low.

Citrulline and arginine don't work as well. This is because beets generate NO through a different pathway than eNOS - the nitrate-nitriate-NO pathway (the same thing sun does), which isn't dependent on many cofactors. eNOS can only generate so much NO because it depends on so many signalling mechanisms and cofactors for it's synthesis and function. And if you lose any of those cofactors eNOS will change it's confirmation and start making superoxide, which is obviously not good. Attempting to max out eNOS with arginine and cofactors is a futile attempt and too complex. The fact is we were meant to consume foods very high in nitrate and be exposed to sun - so we get tons of NO just from our environment and food.

Beets have been instrumental for me as well. I only do beets + carrots, occasionally adding celery or apples for juicing. I do about 1 large beets worth of juice and it's enough.

Yeah, that makes sense. The research on beets is pretty astounding I couldn't really see causing any harm especially in terms of inflammation. It seems to have strong anti inflammatory properties which is the exact opposite of something that could promote NO through the inflammatory pathway in Peat's view.

I do the same, just one large full beet (with leaves and everything) in the morning with some carrots and apple, sometimes a small cucumber. Then later on I do carrots, spinach and apple. Supposedly beets are strong in the sense of cleaning out the liver and taking too much can cause symptoms of excess toxins from herxing. Not sure how accurate that is though.

You have any experience with broccoli juice? Mainly for boosting glutathione function

@Boris https://www.mdjunction.com/forums/g...54-urine-therapy-and-herpes-and-other-viruses

Let these jokers laugh at this. But I think this thing has the biggest chance of curing PFS in every single case.

I am so horny on this it is not even funny. Went to a karaoke last night)) Libido is crazy, and the funny part of it, hair is growing also))

But reactions are crazy , up down up donw, cold hot, cold hot. sweat freeze panic, anxiety. etc.

I took down that thread, since I need to test it and see how I do, I hope I dont get fucked up cause this thing is def doing something))

Im all up for urine therapy.
If it proves to be able to work it would be the best cure. Its already free, it will fix pfs and even grow hair back....seems like a cure all.
Maybe thats why some people doubt it, that and the fact that most people would rather take some hormone than drink urine.
Helen i think you should keep that thread open as it would be interesting to read through your progress.

@Helen I destroyed Karaoke. From KKK bars in ___ to Koreatown in Toronto. To pool halls inbetween with asians. I pwned all after a few drinks... but it is embarassing a little.
Koreatown is legit tho***.

(Not sure why my dumbass friend took us to a hells angel bar... but yeah limited options, he was into pubs/ not night clubs... he shouldn't drink anyways religiously).
