Currently watching the knock out games. Definitely supporting my own country, the Netherlands, but im pretty sure the USA is gonna take it home. They are miles ahead of most countries!

Not really watching, but as it gets to the later rounds I may watch and support USA ofc :) .

Interesting how our Women's team is consistently the best or one of the best in the world while our Men's national team and domestic league MLS is trash. I guess it's just a combination of soccer being like the 4th most popular sport for guys so most our top athletic talent goes to other sports, and In Europe they just take it so much more seriously at a young while at the highest level with the academy from all the top clubs such as Juventus/Barcelona etc. basically breeding kids to be good football players haha.

they really need to fix these goal sizes, kinda looks a bit comical with some of these petite goalkeepers guarding full sized goals

I'd put money on USA having a competitive men's team within the next 20 years. But also in loads of countries the infrastructure for women's football is basically zero.. So the big competition is between the most developed nations
