Sounds good lol. Can you clarify the AI part though. Are you talking about a pharm grade AI like letrozole or just any AI like zinc for example? When you talked about thyroid + AI. This isn't for my particular benefit but for most people reading this that are interested
Aren’t all the signs of metabolism fairly obvious without measuring temps? Digestion, sleep, warm hands/feet etc...

I remember when I used it briefly I felt amazing, so much energy, skin looked like an A list celeb.
Don’t remember anything about the libido and drive...do you notice anything?
The issue for me was hairloss increased, thinning, shedding etc. Was willing to ride it out for a bit but it happened so fast I stopped within a week or two max.
Alternatively, redlight shined directly on thyroid also stimulated metabolism but in a different way it seems. I felt great but was always slightly congested (I attributed this to co2 issues as bag breathing when I played around with it did the same thing). Slept great, hair unchanged, skin not as noticeably good.
I wonder if we’re back to just sorting out metabolism as the main thing rather than focusing on different minerals and aminos to fix anything in particular.
You are very wrong here. Progesterone protocol had long term success after 14 days with progesterone cream. Some people claimed they were cured from pfs with this. See light at the end thread about progesterone on propeciahelp.letro. Protocol for PFS, t3 plus AI. does it work? I saw people get improvement on it. It is the same as taking progesterone high dose like 20 mg . it will work and make you warm and give you energy. Same as going back on fin. But it wont stick. Also libido will be zero on progesterone. And libido will be low on t3 and AI. So it is all about energy mostly. like a patch.
If you take progesterone your metabolism will go higher. libido will go to zero. If you take active vitamin B6 with it , libido will be present on progesterone. This is why when you take zinc, your energy goes up, libido goes to zero, but zinc with active b6 , libido goes up.
Propecia forum has tons of people trying all this, t3, progesterone, t3 with progesterone. Etc. Sorry but none of this stuck.
I would not advice taking these patches, since I think it will unbalance you. We need to build up from the bottom. no more hormones. Simply not worth it
I remember your posts about it.
Libido is up. Drive is up. General confidence and social-ness is up. Social anxiety is dead.
There are now quite a few more guys coming forward and saying NO hair loss on Tyromix, actually, they are saying the opposite, stopped shedding, better hair quality, etc.
I did some digging, found out I had started taking Tyromix in March or early April of 2017. I had taken some pictures in June 2017. June 30th, 2017 to be exact. I looked amazing and my hair was fantastic. (I had originally thought I started Tyromix in June, so this changes a lot).
Admittedly, I also did 1 dose of T3 mcg last night around 10pm (was able to goto sleep around 4am). I'm still not sold on if I will do just T3-only or T3/T4 Tyromix, but I think I am leaning towards Tyromix, despite the RT3 possibilities. I know from past use I felt fantastic on Tyromix, and today just sealed it. Tyromix makes me feel fantastic compared to just T3, for some reason. I may need to explore more though.
Not only do I feel great (even despite sleeping 3hrs only) but it's nice not being so intolerant to cold. My face is already starting to look better (as you mentioned, and I've mentioned this effect more than once before, as did TubZy).
I feel bad because I know we're testing out this new protocol, and I am still using it, but honestly, enough is enough, if I am so intolerant to cold, have low temps on avg, and feel so good on thyroid.. I should probably be using it. I will be closely monitoring how my hair does.
In the past using Tyromix I made the mistake of using like 10 drops a day at one point.. not knowing T4 builds up over time. I had temps in the 100's for awhile. I won't be making that mistake again. 1 drop, dosed on tongue, for at least the next 2 weeks, then see.
@gbolduev how oh you feel about cyproheptadine for lowering histamine in fast oxidizers?
Many have noted better hair and libido. Not sure about PFS people though.
Haha so it pretty much fixes everything and makes your life better in every way...with the possible exception of hair...
It made my hair quality better, I remember that. That’s why I was thinking I could ride it out and see if it leads to hair growth overall, but it shed like crazy.
The peat folk all suggest eating more to fuel the ramped up metabolism.
So in the end... Do you think histidine increases libido or histamine?
Fast oxidizers are undermethylated, in methylation process histamine is being broken down. When the process is low histamine just builds up in the body. Then your body lowers b6 and zinc so that it will not create more HDC. SAMe(from methionine) and DAO breaks down histamine. Methionine also converts to cysteine but the pathway seems to be quite long and while at the very beggining it helped me enormously(1g dose) now it seems to be less efective. I was wondering why is that happening, maybe being cysteine deficient methionine to cysteine conversion is not efective enough(? not enough ATP?).
I did twice a small test and ate in the evening lots of lightly boiled eggs, as they contains lots of cysteine, and then the next day in the morning my hairs looked thicker and less oily. I don't know if this was because of cysteine, I just write some experience and I don't want anyone going hyper and start eating eggs lol.
I will buy some cysteine to test that bit more.
If you have high histamine calcium should have good effects on you as it takes hista out of cells.
Some more observations, maybe someone will be able to relay to this. On days when I my hair, forehead, hands get easily oiled I also experience more anxiety, shedding, hair looks thinner and fat-shiny even just after washing. The "good days" are the exact opposite

I have been using cysteine and histidine hcl along with betaine. My hair loss had already halted but oiliness and PE prevailed. It takes a day for my hair to be oily but my forehead gets oily in late afternoon.
I dropped histidine hcl and have just been doing cysteine but haven’t noticed much of a change.
if you are interested in jumpstarting thyroid and metabolism have you looked at the myo inositol and selenium study?
Are you PFS, PSSD, post accutane? Or just taking for hair loss purposes?
That is very interesting as well!
Thing is I've been playing around with Inositol for probably over a year now, at varying dosages. (It's touted as the anti-alopecia vitamin by some).
So far... meh.
yeah seemed interesting...inositol and myo inositol are different fyi
Guys, lets discuss thyroid in a different thread. If people start taking thyroid. we will never figure out what is helping.
Tons of people took thyroid. UP and down, Including me. I took thyroid for 3 months when I got sick with PFS. Felt ok on it for the first week. then worse and worse.
We have forum members like @brongfogboy who took thyroid alone, thyroid with progesterone etc. progesterone alone and have very good posts on propecia forum. Effects of Higher Dose Progesterone on PFS : Drug Therapy & Hormone Replacement
Forcing hormones wont fix your metabolism. And it will cause hairloss. SODs protect against hairloss, Thyroid is suppressed since there are no SOds. and glutathione When you open it up, you will have hairloss.
half of RPF forum is taking all this and no one fixed anything with it.
We are trying to figure out the reason why thyroid is suppressed, and all people do it just force it trying to get rid of some imaginary Rt3. RT3 goes to nothing. in 48 hours on NAC and selenium. Does not it tell you something about it . that you dont have to flush it, scrape it, or doing anything with it. It disappears under right condition in hours.
N-Acetylcysteine Administration Prevents Nonthyroidal Illness Syndrome in Patients With Acute Myocardial Infarction: A Randomized Clinical Trial (PDF Download Available)
Thyroid should be taken only when you have a problem with your gland. That is only when you are hypothyroid.
That is why it is called nonthyroidal illness syndrome.
As I mentioned already that D1 hormone that converts t4 to t3 consists out of glutathione and metalthionine components. like cysteine, histidine selenium zinc, iron glycine
that is why we need to experiment and take all this and see what raises temps in people with low temperatures. And this will build up. taking thyroid just lowers these even more
