I eat a healthy paleo diet, exercise, do cold showers, and many other things.
i randomly tried zinc on my own. And it has worked for me!
What is the only food very rich in zinc and that is poor in copper?
Muscle meat.
Further than paleo, there are guys who get better on many health conditions by going paleo zero carb.
They advise to make a 30 days trial. Well, this sounds as good as fasting?

What do you mean by "muscle" meat? You mean like steak or chicken? Carbs are tricky for me. I like the carb backloading concept. It does seem to fill out my muscles, and give me a pump when i wake up in the morning. Sometimes my digestive system can handle the carbs quite well, other times its tougher.

I have methionine in the way to lower possible high histamine. What do you feel now since starting methionine?
Since I added methionine I shed less, little less oily skin, and get rid of diarrhea. But if I e.g lower or skip magnesium I get anxious and get oily quite fast. So it is not a one wonderful thing, rather all of them working together

What else are you taking? You’re a fast oxidizer, right?

Yes steak and chicken and sheep leg etc, meat has zinc, and most food have more copper than zinc!

By muscle meat I also wanted to make a difference with organ meat, that has more copper. Meat is also good for those who lack phosphorus. If you lack calcium, then you need more bone broth.

I made a topic about the zero carb diet.... aka animal based diet.
We have to figure out for who it can be a super solution, at least transitory....
I also react bad to carbs....
Have a look at the videos in this topic, the guy re-live, or even thrive for the 1st time ever in his life, after nearly 1 year of this diet. even SCD diet for 1 year had only bettered him without solving. Now he puts on muscle and has no acne any more, and do not faint and bleed in pain... For him, it solved really big problems, and acne was just a side effect for him!
Also his depression went away and he never got any of it since.

Just reading up on l-histidine before I give it a go (pretty sure I have issues with low stomach acid, betaine hci helps a lot), and I've found this which says supplementation of histidine increase zinc excretion. Anyone taking l-histidine, taking this alongside some additional zinc?

"Supplementation of Histidine has been shown to cause rapid zinc excretion in rats with an excretion rate 3 to 6 times normal. [2][3]Some people take histidine in an attempt to raise their histamine levels. Histamine is released under conditions of higher osmolality (dehydration\salt). Raising histamine may be more effective by adapting the body to a higher osmolality by eating sodium without greatly increasing water intake and taking supplements that help the body adapt to those conditions (zinc\taurine\B1\B12). Histidine supplementation likely tricks the body into believing it is producing less histamine and assumes it is well or overhydrated and is better off without the nutrients used to maintain cellular hydration in a hyperosmotic state. Histidine supplementation however is inadvisable because one of the hallmarks of today's chronic diseases (diabetes, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's) is zinc depletion."

hoho... does anyone have the same as I have: I really salt a lot, no more than to taste but I love salt... AND i am not thirsty. i always say I will drink more, and I was bothered I did not make the effort... Good instinct?

I was reaching the conclusion more histidine was good for me, and this can confirm my body wants to raise histamine? My sodium needs to be raised according to hair test.
And i am low in copper.... match!

btw... high histidine foods are meat, which is high in zinc. And in plant food, pumpkin seeds, which are also very good in zinc compared to copper!

@Canari Oh my. I'm the same way. I eat plenty of salt and I never seem to be thirsty, I even do the same thing telling myself I'll remember to drink water and I just can't remember...

Except I'm really thirsty in the morning almost always, and thats when my sexual sides almost go away completely.... AND I quickly get not thirsty at all after waking up, and the sexual sides worsen...

Is this Big(tm)?

I also used to salt my food like crazy+eat a lot of meat, and hair test showed high sodium low copper.

I get toxic in lead every year? NO man, it takes years to get it out of your bone. I drank pure lead water for a year. My lead levels are very high

how did u know u had toxic lead? like is this something that doctors easily diagnose or did u have to discover this on your own?

o_O Same, I forgot to say I wake up thirsty but then forget to drink!
The most I drink is in the evening, and I try to change this. So what I do is to warm up a salted broth to drink in the morning. I have this now, bones and veggies.
We have to compare hair test: do you need to raise your sodium?

I tested whole blood. urine, with provocation. I never could take magnesium and I could not understand why. then i got it. I had huge lead levels in blood everytime I took magnesium, since magnesium increases PTH and calcium from bone goes into blood. and lead comes out. Then I tried to power thru this magnesium and it worked. but with very very bad effects. Like hairloss, totally hair greying, anemia. Mangesium is a dangerous mineral for people with lead toxicity, and it is the mineral that will get rid of it. but side effects of it will be not a joke.

My hair lead levels were normal, and the minute I would take magnesium or fasting. My lead levels would just sky rocket on the hairtest.

After breuss protocol. My levels of mercury lead, uranium arsenic were sky HIGH.

This is why I say that swimming in the ocean is so good. ocean chelates you and chelates you fast.

Woe is me, I still haven't taken any tests  I saw in the other thread though that gbold wants us to test histidine, histamine, cysteine. folic acid, copper level in blood along with ceruloplasmin, iron panel. insulin. Where would I even go to get these done in America?

What do I do in the most rural part of an island of not even 80.000 inhabitants????????????
Hair test comes at home, and there is a new one that tests hair bulb and gives your amino acids!

Can you drink more if you eat more salt?

So are all tests discussed everywhere in H/S, orderable?
@Canari I wish I lived in a remote island area sometimes. :)

In the hair analisis and lab section, you have a sticker with all about labs.
Everybody adds for different countries, where you can get them from.

That is why we have so many tourists here, and why locals go away! We sometimes wish we do not live here!
Too many bananas and not enough cows....
