can start simple, sea salt scrubs once a day in the shower. Get refined sea salt so its easy to work with. Pour some in your palm and scrub your with it a few times, then rinse. Your hair and scalp should feel better immediately post shower. Like morton's sea salt

Currently testing zinc + manganese, completely stops the MPB itch and less hair loss. The problem is that this combo is castrating me, zero libido and lifeless dick.
I recall the cause was explained somewhere on this forum, but I can't seem to find it anymore.

Any help?

that is usually from prolactin too high, manganese increases prolactin...may need to increase zinc to mang ratio..my guess

Anyone ever tried seriously (for enough time) onion juice and/or garlic juice for hair growth ? Any experience with this ? I am thinking to give a try for like 2 months
There are some studies on this two , but for alopecia areata .. but i don't know if works for my kind of alopecia , which is fast oxidizer hair loss kind of.. High stress, high metabolism , high cortisol .. etc . Starts with diffuse hair loss will it's all gone

This guy claims that worked for him...

Anyone having any regrowth or halted their hair loss yet, and how?
Halted using hair balancing for me. I had tight scalp, scalp itch and soreness when id brush my hair. Now it hair and scalp feels.like when i was a teenager. Key factors are not be in too fast oxidation, and have higher magnesium to calcium ratio.

Less carbs more protein improves mg to ca and also having more magnesium foods (or reducing stress if possible but this needs to be long term)

Needs to be individually tailored tho. Get a test before you do anything

I am doing the salt scrubs.

I also did onion juice for a while but the smell was just too much. I might try it again though.

I am also taking electrolytes (potassium/magnesium)

My hair still looks good but I got some shedding on anabolic steroids in crown area. My hairline is perfect. My dad has same pattern. He had good amount of hair for a long time but slowly his scalp got thinner. So if I can slow it down good amount I can live with it. Stopping it would be perfect of course.

I posted thread about Rosemary Oil and they say it is equilavant to Minoxidil in regrowth or better but without side effects. Is this true?

Has anyone had success rebuilding the fat layer under the scalp?

Taeian talks about fat layer being mostly Omega-6:

Taeian's Hair Loss Protocol - TAEIAN

The epidermis of your skin is made of 60 percent Omega-6 PUFA fats. Do not fall for the “Omega-3 must be higher than Omega-6” speech that has no proven benefits and multiple proven detriments. All of the studies linking PUFA fats to health issues look at the typical use for PUFA fats in the western diet: cooking, frying, and otherwise heating the fats. If we are to take the same controlled environment but introduce raw, unheated PUFA fats from seeds and nuts, the studies flip completely. Anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, and all-around health marker improvement is marked.

But I asked Helen about this before. Did not really recommend it I think. I do notice my scalp is oilier when I eat more PUFA. Not sure if it helps with fat layer under the scalp.

Taeian also recommends topically:

- Rosemary Oil (topical) because it has similar effects like Minoxidil regrowing hair
- Evening Primrose Oil (topical)
- Emu Oil
- Ketocanozole cream

Now this is the guy who also recommends deca only cycles and we know this can cause issues so take this with grain of salt. Still interesting to incorporate.

Would be cool to have him on Hackstasis. He is knowledgable guy and has interesting ideas.

Completed the first salt scrub this morning and man, was @HS right. My hair feels so much better. I have heard about rosemary, but was afraid it was antiandrogenic.

Salt srub locally decreases androgen receptors , this increases potassium and Nitric oxide.

Usually hairloss is from too high aldosterone action, which wastes potassium in the body.

So salt internally will cause too much salt , but salt rub in the head with large salt granules does 2 things

1) damages the skin when you rub it in
2) lowers aldosterone action and DHT action.

This is why I rec salt scrubs and best with large flakes.

I think nitric oxid is also important. I started @brix NO protocol this morning too. Obviously too soon to tell any difference haha. @Helen i saw in another thread you’re not a fan of ARL anymore. Any rationale as to why?

I was worried that they changed the B vitamins to the active forms. but I just looked up and TEI also changed to the active forms.

I guess they tested it. but in my mind, it is not optimal , I guess more optimal for a short term chelation. but not long term,

I think companies added them to speed things up, May be it is good short term for chelation purposes/

Awesome, thanks for the explanation. I am heading to the barber shop today because I want to get a hair sample prior to spending a considerable amount of time on the salt scrubs and just wanted to make sure that ARL was still good to go through. It'll be my second hair test.

Also , you can always have this salt water, and put it on your head, and never wash it off. it is also an amazing styling method instead of gels.

So this salt will be constantly for days on your head

this is what I do, I swim in the sea and never wash it off from the sea.

You can also do this. in the morning, just put the salt water onto your head and never wash it off. this will style your hair and make it look thicker even
