Lyme disease wastes your arginine. so you dont even produce nitric oxide.

EBV also activates arginase.

If it is big enough you will be balding.

Yeah, I guess I mean all those diseases tank glutathionine hard as well )) like @Nina for example who has bad EBV/mono for years and didn't lose hair and assume her glutathionine system is not well

@Boris as far as viruses and balding)) I remember that I posted a study where they studied and proved that hairloss is mostly viral origin. and when they gave antivirals to people.hair was growing back

just type in mono and hairloss, most peope will suffer hairloss after mono

I had mono also about 2 years ago. I also had a bad case of hair loss. My hair has not grown back either. My hair was much thicker and I am only 32 years of age. I did not go to the Dr. right away. I have two young children so I thought I was just tired. I probaly had mono for about 3 months before I went to the doctor and he diagnosed me with mono. He told me that losing my hair was one of the side affects of having mono. I also want my hair back. I do not wear my hair down because I am very self conscience about how thin it is. What vitamins or shampoos should I be using?

I also had mono about 5 years ago. It took me 2 years to recover from. It even changed my silky hair into frizz permanently. A year after full recovery my hair began to shed, falling out from the roots. I do not have damaged hair. Now, 3 years later it is still falling out. I’m in my 20’s and used to have hair as thick as a horses tail, but now I’m afraid that in a few more months it’s going to be so thin that I’m just going to have to shave it all off. Been to multiple drs. for the the past 3 years and I get the same responses. They tell me all my blood work checks out fine and I’m healthy.

Angelikness — how are you doing now? I have been dealing with the same symptoms – never wear my hair down – afraid I’m going to have to have a wig… UGH. It’s been almost 2 years since your post – just wondering.. THANKS!

    Hey,
I have also lost a crazy amount of hair right from the begginning of epstein barr virus and mono.
My dermatologist said that besides simple telogen effluvium, androgenetic alopecia also has been pushed by the virus. I have received mesotheraphy with testosterone blocker and now my hair has started to grow back.
Nizoral shampoo and taking Biotin!!!! and B complex vitamins, Zinc and Iron can also help a lot. As far as I understand testosterone is the biggest enemy of the hair which makes the hair stop growing back, thinning etc. There are other forums where guys also said that the dht blocker helped them regrow the hair lost because of mono.

Just posted to you some random comments about mono people

there are comments in one thread. I did not pick them out or anything.

Virus could be one thing that stops people from recovering from PFS. since VIRUS eats glutathione since vitamin C it spent heavily

and vitamin C is needed for all those demethylating enzymes. like TET.

Yeah, I think that could be a factor for sure. In cdnuts case, I think he had lyme prior to taking fin in the first place, not sure if he was balding or not during that time, but it is interesting to see b/c many of the herbs part of the protocol are known to increase glutathionine (like he shou wu for example) maybe not enough for hair growth recovery long term. I'm not sure about the light at end guy though never read his story

Most herbs actually bind glutathione. And increase glutathione enzymes, since they actually waste glutathione. same as steroids.

When you are toxic in stuff, and not enough glutathione recylcing, body has to make NEW glutathione from cysteine constantly and that takes the cysteine from your hair.

I mean people taking testosterone age, since they are taking testosterone which retains iron into the cell, and then estradiol goes up which retains copper into the cell

But Testosterone axis should only go up when thyroid and metabolism asks for it. Thyroid asks for estrogen, and that is how axis goes up.

but they do the opposite they take testosterone. and obviously it will make them copper toxic in the brain,

Bugs always take advantage of any kind of trauma, injury etc... clear the bug and it's a path to healing.. this is what @bruschi11 is focusing on..

didn't @Helen post a glutathione recycling protocol? I was doing glutathione injections for awhile and even though skin firmed up and grey hair was diminished my joints didn't appreciate it.. I think recycling is more important than just loading up on precursors or glut itself

yeah it is all about recycling, you dont want to pound glutathione. since recyling means there is also oxidation going on, and taking tons of pure glutathione can kill that oxidation.

@Boris but returning to your question, is it possible to cure PFS and keep the hair. the answer is yes.

For instance, B2 is curing hairloss in people. and curing PFS at the same time))
I want to focus on this. I believe b2 is the cure for both hairloss and pfs. I actually think pfs is just a really accelerated balding state that was caused by fin raising estrogen too high and then the brain being overloaded with copper.

You get off fin and you can’t get this copper out of the brain as body is already low in b2.

So b2 is needed to fix pfs and then potentially a maintenance program of b2 to fix hairloss.

I guess the only issue is are there any imbalances caused by taking b2 long term.

So loading gluthation precursors can actually kill gluthation. Its better to recycle with just Bs instead of cystein glycine and glutamic acid right? Im also not bald at all, but i think this is because i took finas at 17 years old, im pretty sure of that, also thats why i dont have beard or body hair

I said b2 clears copper iron oxidized from the cell. since it is part of ATpases , brain included.

that is why they put parkinsons people on b2 to clear iron out of the brain.

but it is better to support all systems. since b2 alone could cause imbalances.
And to support other systems, what are the major things for this? Aminos and other b vitamins?

It is called ELECTROLYTE PROTOCOL))) LOL

which has all of this there with a really high doses of Bs and especially B2. that is what Orion was taking.

it is a protocol created to support hard detox with minimal sides.

The detox is super hard with b2 lol. It destroys me. Then I get better.

What is chronic fatique? that people talk about. it is lack of ATPases. what are ATPAses

Sodium potassium pump is an ATPASe, hydrogen potassium ATapse which acidifies the stomach is also ATpase.

All ATapses work on magnesium and B2.

so if you get virus, or toxicity your Bs go down, and you get chronic fatique.

For me if I took a small dose of b2. it was much much worse than High Dose b2. may be some processes start up with b2 and then you get this oxidized iron copper and other metals in your blood stream. and all other enzymes and Atpases cant work. since b2 is just spent and eaten in a second.

I’m wary about blowing out my liver it I take it dosed high.

Do you think there’s still ultimately benefits with doing it small at first?

I remember reading how b2 levels in foods have drastically decreased in the past 100years, seems to make sense as we see an increase in balding young men and increase in other diseases.

if you want to go slow, just go slow. I was taking electrolytes protocol so very high B2 did not bother me.
