not sure if posted before. I didn't like that diagram, what do they want me to cut the strands in half... wtf. --Can't they're analysis tell scalp proximity to end of hair. Not to mention you yourself can look at hair and tell which end was cut, when its in okay or good health usually.
-anyways, it does, have something on pubic vs scalp hair, or rather it says: use scalp hair.

Right, but from what I’ve read, it says that because body hair grows at an inconsistent rate. Hair does not. (And boron or chromium might be slightly higher). But that isn’t the big elements. I think if you shave before starting the cycle, and then shave again after the cycle, the hair you shave will be consistent.

Here is a link that sites studies and there findings on HTMA
It's pretty interesting.
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA or Hair Mineral Analysis) References

“Findings reported that individuals with normal serum testosterone levels had a significantly higher HTMA zinc level compared to a low testosterone group. Also, the study concluded that decreased testosterone was associated with a significant reduction of the zinc to copper ratio in hair samples.”

Hair Zinc and Copper Levels and Serum Testosterone Chang, CS, et al. Correlation between serum testosterone level and concentrations of copper and zinc in hair tissue. Biol.Trac.Elem.Res. 144, 2011.

Most of the stuff you are saying though hasn't been tested meaning we don't know if it would or not so none of us can say not even TEI regarding the hair sample. IMO it is just best to follow the TEI program as properly as possible and just copy those who have been on TEI for a long time now and they are using scalp and are following the program exactly how it should be and are doing good. I get your thinking but we honestly don't know 100% yet even with scalp, so best not to guess and assume other hair sample methods and try and see how other non TEI supplements could affect it.

Yeah, but I’m going off of practitioners recommendations. Isn’t that what we are supposed to do? If they tell us, that scalp hair is preferable ( because of growth patterns) but busy hair is acceptable if not, then shouldn’t that count? They even say you can use finger nails.

I have noticed the first and now the second cycle of TEI that when you quit the supplements the first week and maybe even first two weeks you feel like you are still on the supplements. It is like your body is still changing things or getting rid of toxic metals.

I think while you are on the supplements the body starts changing things but these changes do not stop instantly when you come off the supplements. Your body finishes the process.
Anyone else on TEI noticed this?

I feel the exact same way.

Several people have commented my face has a yellow tint this last week. My eye white is normal.

This is after doing the second TEI cycle. I am not eating carrots or shit like that.

Could this be liver function? I think I am going to get it tested Wednesday just to be sure. Is it possible the supplements are hard on the liver?

I am trying to figure out what it could be.

I am sure at least once with fin (pre fasting) skin was yellowish. I'd strongly link it to liver function to be honest.
I'd get tested. It could just be elevated liver enzymes. For peace of mind, I'd get tested. I highly doubt it's something more severe (which would also cause yellowing of the skin). Maybe it's part of the detox symptoms associated with TEI. Lowering the dose, or taking a short break is something I would do. This may not be consistent with subsequent responses.

Maybe my liver is in overdrive or something taking care of business. I don't have the other symptoms of jaundice. I am going to get it tested just to make sure. I am off all supplements until next cycle.

I would for sure get tested bro. Even if it is liver damage. I healed mine to "healthier than a magical horse's liver" acc to my doctor, after effexor. I didn't get tested in recent years but will in the future just for curiosity. I'm also 9000x more sober than back then anyways. I'm sure liver looked BAD 12mo ago and 20 mo ago and now far better. Perfect? not sure, I'm waiting. If yellow again, or other spots which I had on face, I'd get tested.

For sure tons of Tei supps can be hard on liver. A lot of any one of supplement can. For sure. Definitely stomach pain impaired fat metabolism and bloating in Tei one for me. And a lot of things. Workarounds exist. However that doesn't ameliorate it. But I can stick thru hopefully it will be better next t as well.

I think tei can be a little hard on the liver by pushing out toxins. At one point on cycle I had major liver/gallbladder pain and had to take a break from the supps. In the long run though it is helping my liver because the pressure I use to feel constantly around my liver is gone.

High levels of iron can give your skin a golden bronze color. Could be from pushing out heavy metals.

I think TEI can be hard on the liver, and obviously the liver is compromised in this condition anyway. I had to stop my TEI cycle for this reason. I got tested a couple of days after stopping and my liver enzymes were fine, but ferritin was really high and this can be an indicator of liver inflammation.

Currently taking TUDCA which always helps when I get liver/gb pains, and seems to be doing the trick. Might be worth considering

--Also: So , you can print an intake form from the website on TEI, send your sample there, select someone different than Catherine. In lieu of that I'll use Everyday Better Now, or Better Health Now, whatever it is
--I cut hair like 2.5 weeks ago. And can get another sample soon enough (just cut my hair, super short). I'll wait a couple weeks then cut a tiny bit myself for the sample....
(--Is this the TEI question thread??)

-What is the form called? Client-Information? Patient-Information? HTMA subject information or something?

-Edit: I'll find this thing.

I am taking the new supps by TEI which contains a lot of copper. I did not get any food advice - for some reason they stopped this at Vitamunda or at TEI in general not sure.

I am going to keep eating stuff like dairy and spinach. Maybe a banana once in a while. Yoghurt. Plus some meats and eggs. Since I need the calcium and magnesium.

If TEI advices copper I assume it also OK to eat something like liver once in a while? Or other copper foods?

I think TEI lowered my estrogen a lot which is why I had the obsession and needed to write shit about everything. HAHA I already feel a bit better on this supps. Less OCD.

That must be it. They only advised me not taking the obvious (sugar, chocolate, alcohol, etc.). ARL used to have entire lists. I have a hunch it's just the Dutch Vitamunda who's fucking things up again.

Also, I took major copper loads and eat a lot of copper as well. It only lowered it.
