It ain’t all dead. There’s a few of us here talking quite a bit for awhile now.

I really don’t have any control of the website. I’m not good with the tech and I don’t think I have any control. It’s on Tubzy who hasn’t been here and likely is out there living a nice life not giving the slightest fuck about fad or fat Metabolsim etc. thankfully as he shouldn’t be.

But we are here. If the site goes down. I, wouldn’t want to lose contact with some of you here you know who you are. I would like to bring the talk here someone else. Whether it be the pheonix rising forum or Ray peat forum.

Or maybe I’d create my own forum. But I’m not going public and making myself into a health know it all asshole without some sort of a solid recovery. But we’ll see.

I’m kind of considering making my Twitter bruschi711 (bruschi11 was taken ) and ya know what I’ll do that now. If you guys wanna follow me and have me as contact there. I guess that’s first place to start.

You need something that is not mixed with other stuff in my opinion or you always get useless discussions between different dogmas.

This forum was nice because it allowed certain things and didn't allow stuff that clearly didn't work in the past (Ray Peat's approach to PFS for example). We came from Ray Peat trying all his stuff to fix PFS. Here it was Helen's theories, TEI/ARL and cdsnuts. Same for SwoleSource it was focussed on pure cdsnuts protocol. You either do it or don't if you don't then you find another place.

The discord has a lot of older members incl. TubZy who is a mod there. I was a mod too but lost it I think when I deactivated my account temporarily. Now I can't post because I have to verify my account with phone number which I don't want on that particular account. So it's a way to contact people.

It's also possible to make a new Discord just get the core community in there just for future proof purposes if you ever want to contact them.

Not sure what I have to add to be honest. I posted all my nonsense here already lol. You need a guy who drags the ship with him. Like Helen or cdsnuts did as well. Well it was also TubZy who was like the lifeline.

This forum was interesting because we were testing people's theories and sending our results comparing notes. Now it is more like talking into the abyss. I guess it's also because a good amount of those guys got cured whether from theories here or cdsnuts, or their own protocols. They moved on like Walker noted back then too. Which is good of course.

If there is no reason for people to come together anymore it will disappear. I just think about a lot of the members here from time to time because in those times of hardship you do build a sort of bond. Not a friendship per se but a connection to wonder what the fuck is up with those dudes now. Hoping they would be doing decent at least. That's why I still visit mostly. Plus I try to get my health better but I don't have PFS anymore. For example.

I don't feel connection with people who post on PropeciaHelp or Finasteride Syndrome reddit anymore. It's like living in a different world. Back then I was part of that crowd I thought the same, felt the same, same problems etc. I hope they all recover. But man how much similarities there are with when we were doing this stuff 10 years ago. A lot of people hoping for a magic cure. Same story back then. I am happy to chose following people like Chi, cdsnuts, Helen, members here.

Although I also fell into the trap of thinking the magic 1 pill cure is there. I think it's a human thing.

I'll bookmark your Twitter if something happens I will send you a message at least.

It sucks forum talk really died.

This forum for about two years was awesome. For its time. For 2018-2020 it was great. But in 2016, Shawn Bean said to me- “Dr Mariano was far ahead of his time.”

Mariano’s time was say 2006 to 2012? But you just see how things change so fast.

It’s 2026. Basically anyone with a brain kind of knows these days the key to metabolic health is mitochondrial health a Chris Masterjohn type focus on the electron transport chain ends up bringing us back to minerals vitamins hormones amino acids exercise sleep diet etc.

And everything points to Metabolsim and methylation as the core ultimatums. Which we learned a lot about here. Electron transport chain is ultimately fmn, fad, iron sulfur, zinc copper EOD.

Doctors who think they know things but they don’t… just say “insulin and body fat. Need to lower those.” But then you realize they’re both big pieces in this but people with severe neuro issues can’t function without glucose feeding energy at its core.

So that keto diet and fasting thing all these new age doctors think is the cure to life itself… actually can’t be a huge detriment. Without co2 the body can’t retain chromium and cobalt. The actual issues most of us have with these neuro diseases specifically men.

I wish vitamins A metabolism was a topic. I learned that all in 2024. It led me to my entire plan I use now following freddd etc. Gbolds thing was atp makes iron copper available. But why? Then some said vitamin A did the same thing. And when I took vit A I’d dump too hard and fuck myself up.

This was in 2021 late that year I basically ended my life for good after i got covid I had the worst iron copper dump ever from Vit A .

End of day it really is gtp for b5 for iodine sele/ usage for VHL I see the keys to vit A metabolism. But without electrolyte retention for atp can’t get to gtp. Lot more to it than that. Crazy complex. EVERYTHING IS involved.

If Forum helped people, and people leave forum... Fuck'em beacuse they could post at least once/twice per week
I agree but also understand people move on... most people don't want to deal with this in general I think. They just wanted to live life without PFS/CFS/etc. it's also the reason they first started visiting these forums. So with the same reason they go away. I'll keep posting for sure. Hopefully the forum will stay up for a while. Otherwise I will send a message to bruschi

@bruschi11 I think Gbolduev was more about getting rid of toxic metals make the body run properly. He was even against supplementing minerals mostly, if not necessary. Especially high amounts of minerals. This was a unique take because a lot of people within the hair testing/mineral sphere were all about minerals minerals minerals and he kind of went against that in a way.

Chris Masterjohn has been doing this for 10+ years I read him when I first got PFS. He was already talking about methylation. None of these guys changed any trajectory in my opinion. Maybe on a smaller scale yes. But not some type of crazy cognitive shift on a mass scale. I doubt Chris Masterjohn's advice fixed a lot of people's health.

Just look at Watson, Pfeiffer, Eck, etc. those guys are way before all this. Nobody talks about it except in smaller communities. Those guys actually did a lot of research relative to what a lot of online guru's do now. Who read a study or ask AI to write them a viral tweet or video.

The biggest health influencers are marketeers. If something is complex it cannot be sold easily. So I doubt complex problems will be mainstream. All this information we use has been there. Nothing new. For me this information was enough to get me out of PFS and the biggest health problems. Maybe I need to research myself more if I really wanted to get to the bottom of it. It could be possible.

Masterjohns main way of testing is the mitome.

Which explains how each step of the electron transport chain is working for that person at the moment

There’s only 4 maybe 5 steps to judge.

Thats how simple health can really be.

Then you see tho. How complex each of those 4-5 steps really are.

1) nadh/fmn is complex 1
2) fad
3) fe/ s
4) zn/cu/mn
5) many say carnitine and nitric oxide are keys for complex 5

Masterjohn or Gbold or anyone really can’t fix another person unless there’s a minor glitch in all of the above.

People that are sick for years will have a problem with one of these then the rest will start slipping.

It’s up to that respective person to fix themselves .

Chris is trying hard to be relevant in that space of the biggest influencers. The most funny thing is that he is trying to have deep voice when he speaks in podcasts. So hilarious..
But he is much smarter than 99% of all those idiots that's for sure. He at least understands that it is about biochemistry on that micro level like minerals, enzymes, pathways and stuff.
Everyone else is talking just about hormones and what macronutrients you should eat. Like those pro metabolic idiots for example. They are like 30 years behind of guys like Masterjohn or @bruschi11 ...
The one thing I was really angry about with Chris was that he was saying you can't tell if you have hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia without testing. Which is crazy to say because symptoms of hypoglycemia are completely different than hyperglycemia. It looks like he never had some crazy strong hypo heh.. You start shaking, out of nowhere you are soaked in sweat and you have insane taster for sweet stuff. and if you eat something like big tablespoon of dextrose followed with some water which is the fastest way to deliver glucose apart from into the vein. Those symptoms will slowly disappear. Chris was arguing that I don't know if it was hypo or hyperglycemia if I don't have that confirmed with glucose test. Like how dumb that is lol.. Hyperglycemia doesn't have acute symptoms like that at all. If you have hyperglycemia you are just crazy thirsty and your urine tastes sweet. That's about it. FOr this reason alone I don't know how should I take Chris seriously heh.

Yea he’s not anywhere near great. But he’s the one of the only ones out there touching the true realities of what we are trying to fix and the electron transport chain is probably the biggest piece in all of this.

Everything we do with glycolysis Krebs methylation ends up hitting the ECT how we just oxygen to fuel cells the brain etc. and break it down to water.

He just really doesn’t talk Hormones and their conversions or mineral metabolism much.

He basically says b5 is the key to vitamin A metabolism. And I’m sure it is for many. My friend cured himself with huge help from b5. B5 was so big for me several times.

But there’s a lot more to it. A metabolism runs on GTP and VHL. Succinate in Krebs makes GTP which makes b5. VHL is run through b5 but there’s iodine selenium that need to be used with b5 b12. What if they aren’t there? Zinc too really which he does say goes with b5 .

It’s complicated. Everything is. Masterjohn seems to make things too simple and everything is run on vitamins and minerals and just does not take into account hormones.

I had a friend who ended up committing suicide smh. Haunts me till this day. He wouldn’t listen to me. My talk was too complex for him. He hired Chris Masterjohn spent $2k or whatever. “Take beta alanine for your low co2 “ was one of his suggestions.

It just goes much further than that. You can’t just say beta alanine is gonna raise the low co2. I don’t think Masterjohn was ever sick enough to really understand some things .

Which is why I respect Shawn Bean. Who told me things like “I can’t keep co2 raised without TRT.”

Shawn was a really sick guy and he is no genius or perfect. But sometimes you gotta know who you’re listening to and what they’ve been through.

which is why I’m just so pro freddd right now as his symptom set is the only one similar to mine I’ve heard anyone recover from.

@bruschi11 who is Shawn Bean. All I see is taht actor from LOTR who plaid Boromir lol.

lol Shawn Bean was one of founders of allthingsmale forum. Was known as “the matrix” way back when early 2010s on a lot of the men’s hormones forums. You had to come accross him at some point.

TRT treating mold and gut were his things until the late 2010s where he had like a 5 year setback. Seems to have been doing good the last 4+ years but has aged clearly. He’s 55 now I think.

Says he pulled him out of Parkinson’s during that setback so he gives me hope that I can do it on test like freddd. It seems it really was getting a vitamin mineral protocol for methylation to work that got him better this time. Like I remember 3 years ago as I found b5 he was finding it for himself. He was big on b5 needing choline which is crazy as b5/choline huge for my buddy who healed late stage pfs 10 years in / early Parkinson’s late 30s when he did it.

But it seems Shawn’s toughest most intricate work was in his late 40s early 50s similar to freddd. Where I’m sure. His brain was going while already having a huge client list of people looking for health. Must’ve been really challenging for him.

Edit: must mention he found my Lyme / mycoplasma in 2017 that led to my recovery.

My email to him. “I think it’s too late”

The email I got back. “It’s never too late.”

I don’t know if I believe him on the latter for everyone. But I’m doing whatever I can to convince myself he’s right there in my current situation.

He saw low manganese in blood back then “could be mycoplasma or aldehydes”… we do more bloods and mycoplasma crazy .

It was one dead mineral causing a severe mitochondrial disease. That’s all it was. An infection taking that mineral.

@bruschi11 no I never heard about him. Can you show me video with him or something?

He really was a germ theorist/ gut type but with TRT for a long time. Then he got into methylation better in 2020s.

Kind of like me. But I never went on TRT until freaking year ago. 6 years of legit copper deficiency until then that I could never get ahold of.

He was on TRT the whole way but you know it bothered him at times and he wished he wasn’t at times. But now he seems pretty stable .

I don’t think he realized how long my T was low . We consulted a few times in the early to mid 2020s. In mid 2022 he gave me higher dose biotin like 3 mgs and it really caused me to spiral. I fell apart basically forever after that. I never got back in control. But I wasn’t in control at the time. I was ok . I could golf. I had some libido. But I wasn’t great. I could work and stuff and have some fun. But I was nowhere near great.

I mean it makes sense. Glucagon was my issue likely killing chromium the obesity. Biotin raises glucagon.

What’s crazy is 2023, biotin +b2 + b5 + b12 helped me a lot and I improved for awhile on that regime . So I need the biotin in small amounts but I think going to the end of that pathway and giving carnitine like freddd is what I’m looking for.

@bruschi11 I took a lot of biotin last couple of months based on HG7 wonder if I fucked up myself pretty good with it as well...
I am not taking anything in high doses never again. Especially when I don't know what I am doing lol.. SO I just take here and there stuff opening capsules and taking smaller amounts not every day. But for now it seems my Na/K ratio is low. No estrogen low. Bad sodium retention, zero libido. I am sure my TSH is high as fuck, reverse T3 high, low thyroid, low adrenals. But in my case it is a lot due to stress from outside sources. Like I can't expect to get better while my body is chronically in sympathetic mode. I need to stay couple of months in complete chill mode and only after that if I am still not getting better I can say that I need some serious protocol to fix my biochemistry..

Yea I think most of us really have to get ERb going which is more iron availability. Which then pressures ERa which is more co2 production helps break down iron copper.

And biotin fits that ERa group next to lithium vanadium iodine adob12 potentially selenium zinc.

I think zinc is supposed to be ERb and adob12 too but they gotta be working correctly.

My email to him. “I think it’s too late”

The email I got back. “It’s never too late.”
He's a cool dude. I once emailed him a long ass question and he replied in like 30 minutes with an insightful answer. Although lately he gone heavily spiritual which... well, I have my own opinions on.
