Inhibiting 5ap at the molecular level and trying to describe what happens next

Yeah - I agree the balance is tricky to get right and many variables. That is why I preferred trying to do it as "natural" as possible and feeding things in whole foods are food type supplements and letting the body pull from it as needed. My fin theory is this: Fin is a progestin and acts...

Inhibiting 5ap at the molecular level and trying to describe what happens next

You most likely down regulated the receptor and are now responding to endogenous cortisol much better even though the drug has left your system. This is a good sign. If it will stick long term we shall see....if not may have to increase dose and/or stay on for longer period of time.

That is a cortisol drug (similar to dexamethasone). Exogenous cortisol down regulates cortisol receptor. Same thing as the guy who got cured from taking dexa. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0021925818691045...

Inhibiting 5ap at the molecular level and trying to describe what happens next

Yes that is pretty accurate. I wanted to add that I was digging through my old posts and remembered this experiment I did back in 2017 with histidine and cysteine for the zinc finger protocol (link below). This is when I started to get a general understanding around the cortisol/GR receptor...

That's right.... dont know why I was thinking of a diff enzyme more downstream. do you recall the hair benefits from mang?

Inhibiting 5ap at the molecular level and trying to describe what happens next

Yeah for testosterone (i.e. TRT) we had a thread in here somewhere where Gbol mentioned that TRT alone upregulates the AR since it converts to estrogen as well. But TRT + aromatase inhibitor actually down regulates the AR since you pushing the DHT pathway which in turn would down regulate the...

    TubZy Log (cured)

Trying to recall - I know the have to be taking together as manganese can increase prolactin and zinc is taken with it to keep prolactin in check. Manganese increases the enzyme that increases all hormones...I'm blanking on the enzyme at the moment but if manganese was taken in isolation it...

Inhibiting 5ap at the molecular level and trying to describe what happens next

Excellent write up. I think it effects each person to a different extent since you were sick/unbalanced prior to taking finasteride. If you have hair loss you have a metabolic imbalance/disorder whether it be glutathione wasting/poor recycling and body is pulling cysteine from the hair or your...

    Abnormal reaction to substances

Copy/pasting a quote from gbol from a very long thread. The AR and GR (cortisol receptor) are connected so they both get upregulated which was also my personal experience as well. Copper needs to be available all the time. otherwise it will cause crazy thing like depression serotonin...

    Manu's Log

Yeah, it was in this thread. He mentioned that high dose B1 and B2 can eliminate moles, dark spots etc by clearing out iron and copper toxicities. https://hackstas.is/threads/very-bad-news-dht-fibrosis-scars-dmso-moles-no-b1-b2.1224/

Why is TRT such a bad thing?

Isn't chromium part of electrolytes protocol, if I recall correctly?

Why is TRT such a bad thing?

Wanted to add this quote from another classic thread regarding TRT/steroids that is loaded with info I totally forgot about https://hackstas.is/threads/very-bad-news-dht-fibrosis-scars-dmso-moles-no-b1-b2.1224/page-4

    Yura log

Peptide Sciences has it but if you dont want to do HMA then you can try EGCG capsules + full spectrum aminos + electrolytes/b vitamins. The EGCG will help release iron and copper out of tissue and the aminos/minerals/b vitamins etc can help excrete the excess free copper and make it work...

    Yura log

yeah its a peptide, it should help bind and use up copper
