Experiences with ZMA for stress reduction?

EndoAmp is actually back through a new company. I saw it on Rob’s (SoCal Nutrition) email the other day.

Bulletproof Gut Protocol - Questions, Comments, Experiences

Sorry if I missed this anywhere @Ocguy, but is any sort of healing reaction expected on this in the beginning? I’ve been on it a few days alongside TEI now, was just curious what to be on the lookout for.

    salt water swimming/ozone link

I always noticed during PFS that when I went to the beach and swam, that whole week I felt amazing. Usually new highs. Never knew anything about this site back then (as it didn't exist) but now it's interesting to see how that all ties together.

Lines/Creases on arms common in PFS? DNA link?

Totally endorse this message. The last line is sage wisdom.

Saw Palmetto sufferer Log *Hair Test included

I’m 6’7” - and I did get worse when blocking E. I’ve said multiple times on SS and here, most of my PFS/SP symptoms all aligned with low E during my recovery. Usually if I drank a beer or took 4-Andro I always felt great cause of the pro-Estrogenic activity.

Bulletproof Gut Protocol - Questions, Comments, Experiences

Got everything in house besides the FOS. Substituted Visbiome for VSL#3? Apparently it’s the old formula under a new brand. Came to the house cold. FOS won’t be here until next week.....eager to start though.

What was the verdict on running this with/alongside TEI? Honestly, without a gallbladder, I can use all the digestion help I can get to this day.

    Snowball’s log - PFS (Fin+Saw Palmetto)

I believe it has to do with potassium wasting, so maybe supplementing some KCl would help. I've tried it before with mixed results.

Headaches and lethargy are common sides with that compound, unfortunately.

Testosterone decreases brain 5AR1 and lowers allopregnenolone.

Negative, and we're referring to using smokeless tobacco as "dipping".

Testosterone decreases brain 5AR1 and lowers allopregnenolone.

I’d say more of a few times a week. I tried to be a lot more health conscious about it given that I was following a holistic health protocol (CDs), and there didn’t seem to be anything healthy about it besides how it made me feel. I still dip on occasion, yes. I’d say a few times a month on...

Wuf Log - After Cortisol treatment

Yes, I’d say within the first day I could notice a major decrease in well-being. Anxiety flooded me and as I said before, my tinnitus flared, I could barely hear anything. Worst PTSD incidents I’ve had in awhile as well. My wife could notice a huge difference, to the point it shocked her...

Wuf Log - After Cortisol treatment

That’s what I saw as well. I read a few studies that seemed to suggest cortisol would be suppressed from 2-4 weeks though as a result of administration. I would have to find them again, however. Either way, shit was nasty. I will never have another injection again.

Testosterone decreases brain 5AR1 and lowers allopregnenolone.

I always felt really good during PFS when dipping too, like a noticeable relaxation/mental benefit. I leaned on it as a crutch pretty badly. About the only thing that made me feel like I was a normal human early on. Funny how a shitty lifelong habit can do that.

Wuf Log - After Cortisol treatment

It's been about four weeks or so, but I definitely feel better than I did after I had the injection. I had horrible, horrible anxiety for the two weeks after my injection. All my usual PTSD problems came back in full force and my tinnitus I've had since my military service was the worst it had...

Wuf Log - After Cortisol treatment

Like I don't know how you survived on cortisol supplements while having a compromised stress response already with PFS. I had a terrible reaction to mine, and I was feeling great prior to it from TEI. Kicked my PTSD/anxiety and other cortisol effects into overdrive.

Wuf Log - After Cortisol treatment

Not sure how you did it while in PFS man. I had an 80mg injection of methylprednisolone for an injury and it screwed my stress response and general feeling regarding cortisol up. Been a month now and just now feeling like I can handle stress again without major anxiety.

    Walker TEI Hair Test

Two weeks in, tomorrow. This run of supplements feels a lot like the last, for the most part. It's hard to judge progress at the moment because the methylprednisolone injection I got a month ago really screwed with my stress response and PTSD as a whole due to its effects on cortisol. It's...
