The basics of acid base disorders

That sounds like me. What type of sleep patterns or disturbances do you typically see in people with RAc and how does one correct it?

The basics of acid base disorders

Thanks for writing this matty! I look forward to the rest of the series. I'm a bit confused about the CO2 being acidic part. If it ultimately ends up as bicarb, why doesn't it make us basic?

    Fasting experiences

I started a water fast, but decided to give it up very early as something came up the following week. I went from 5pm Saturday to Monday morning. Sunday I felt fine. Monday I woke up and felt anxious and a bit nauseous. Is this common? I usually only feel that way when I drink too much. Maybe it...

@orion or anyone else What is the lemon egg soup you eat after a fast? Is it just water, a couple of eggs, and a bit of lemon juice? I am planning on trying a 7 day water fast this Saturday. How does this post meal plan look? Following Saturday and Sunday - aforementioned lemon egg soup...

Can you point to any good resources for a juice feast? This seems much more suitable for me while I'm employed.

    Autoimmune Adventures

Oh yeah my ribcage and to a lesser extent my hips are rotated to the right. I am gradually resolving this and it is allowing me to breathe as well as perform athletic movements much more easily. No other auto-immune conditions. I had asthma as a child, but that has long since disappeared.

    Autoimmune Adventures

Thanks again mattyb ! I've got appointment with a GP tomorrow to help interpret my latest blood results so I'll see if she will write the tests for me. My platelets are below range, but my MCH and MPV are above range (had low platelets before but normal MCH and MPV). I assume that has something...

    Autoimmune Adventures

Thanks for the replies! I've just finished reading the rest of this thread and look forward to following your posts with interest. I'm planning on trying a 5 day water fast in November just to get my toes a little wet for a 10+ day fast next summer. I still consume a fair bit of calcium...

    Autoimmune Adventures

I developed psoriasis around age 7. I was a bit anxious as a kid, and had been pretty much vegetarian from age 5. My family also has a history of the disease. Are there any particular paths of treatment you think may be fruitful for someone like me?
