I think we just wouldn’t know... it would turn system in one given direction depending on person. Could slow up, could slow down.

Hormonal control though (which you’re doing with any type of hormonal treatment) definitely puts pressure on some sort of nutrient balance. At least from my view this is what I’d envision takes place.

This makes sense - I was thinking maybe a run simultaneous with a hormone would be a way for guys who's system are really F'd to kinda bandaid the bad feeling. But who knows.....it's all experimental at this point.

Small update on about 6/7 weeks on my first ARL-cycle:
  • New hairtest mailed in. Will take about two weeks.
  • Now two weeks on Hydrogen water as well
  • Don't notice much of anything of ARL so far. Then again, my symptoms are more physical than they are mental, which takes a little longer to notice.
  • Allergies have lessened. They were absolutely dreadful during the first few weeks. Still very much present but doable.
  • Skin doesn't seem to tan. I ended up with vitiligo spots when I was on hydrocortisone and thyroid meds. This seems to have picked up after fasting.
  • Stopped liver flushes and coffee enema's. They made me dehydrated.
  • Still have dehydration symptoms. Dry skin all over. Dry mouth/lips when I wake up. Stools are loose when I up the hydrogen, it seems, but normally quite dry, lumps even.
  • Got three amalgam fillings removed yesterday.

What if you're usually a fast oxidizer, now you're only a bit fast, and you increase fastness with randro, etc, before balancing with an eventual ARL cycle?

Not bad, right?
Sorry no mean derail.

Admiral, taking full dosage of the ARL?
ARL only now then since you quit the flushes et al?
How are you feeling mentally these days?

Full ARL program. Did the flushes during the same time.

Mentally I am pretty much the same. I know that HCL makes me groggy and depressed. Quit taking it. I still get depressed easily when I see myself in the mirror, but other than that I am fighting and hoping for better days.

I am toying with histidine right now.

Yeah, that's a little frustrating. Just reading up on some of the R-Andro improvements and it makes me eager to try it. Especially with the low hormonal output I have.

Amino's okay to add, though? I know the electrolyte protocol advices such, but not sure if it will throw off my ARL-balancing.

I know @Chapman had success with Randro but he stated he already had high total T levels whereas @Niles apparently had a poor time with Randro and he had lowish total T levels. Might be something in that.

Histidine is helpful. Nocturnal erections have returned, libido a bit better I feel and allergies are almost non excistent now.

Yeah, I think I didn't have enough T to handle the suppression at the time. I'm definitely gonna have my levels checked before thinking about running it in the future.

Great news man. I’m a responder too. Just gotta be persistent with health and things will only get better.

Somehow I feel sleep is a bit disturbed since taking histidine, but I am not sure this is possible and how this mechanism works.

I guess its possible. Might be a bit of a long shot, but antihistamines are sometimes used as sleeping meds. More histidine -> more histamine -> opposite effect of antihistamines? No clue on the actual biochemical mechanisms though.

That could be something..

I also had the same reaction to betaine HCL, so maybe it's the HCL part and it also tanks potassium. Might up that and see if there are any improvements.

So my first ARL cycle is done. Two months of ARL supps finished. The results of my next hair test should be in within a day or 10. I'm expecting my eletrolytes to be lower, as I am a bit dehydrated and tired. Ca to Mg should be improved. Toxic metals such as aluminium and mercury might be higher as it could come out more now. Iron could be even higher as well as I experience more vitiligo spots. Skin doesn't tan at all at some places. We'll see.

In between (about two weeks) I will take:

- Thorne B-complex
- Essential Amino Acids
- Jarrow Bile acids
- Histidine + Arginine + Lycine
- High protein + vegetable diet.

Perhaps I will do another coffee enema or liver flush somewhere as well, but both seem to dehydrate me a lot and they aggravate some symptoms. Even though I've read a lot that coffee enema's might actually be good for dehydration, I've definitely experienced other wise.

how many carbs are you eating? Do you feel like carbs are just creating lactic acid and fatigue/muscle pain?

I eat brown rice each diner as my main carb source. Lots of vegetables with quality carbs as well.

No problem with fatique or muscle pain. Haven't experienced the latter at all during my 14 year PFS-ride.

This is weird. I could eat a crap load of eggs and be fine while on ARL. But prior to ARL and now on my first day without supplements they give me insane migraine attacks. Weird. Maybe my body can't handle the load of amino's when I don't support it with minerals.

On 10th day of fast. I can't wait to eat that stuff man. Must say.. when I first got myco/Lyme diagnosis I was so scared of the diet that I had ahead of me. I figured I had this brutal ketogenic diet- was so sad.

I love the rice, seafoods, potatoes (sweets too), and really have found ways to incorporate veggies in a good at least somewhat tasty way.

I can't wait for rice meals right now lol. I think I'm going to start learning how to cook hibachi I love that stuff.

Lay off histidine , may be. On arl you were methylating. Since they were giving you methyl vitamins. And now you are off. and you might run too high on histamine
