What's your choice? I think we can keep more minerals with Breuss juices and teas.

But I am not an enthusiast of bottled juice. Even if the Biotta juices are fermented, they are also pasteurized.

And what if celery is an issue and you do not know it? It is not made with a celery head but the root though. Maybe allergic people are only allergic to the leaves? Even carrot leaves can be allergenic on the skin... (they are both apiaceae, and parsnip leaves are bad too)

Does somebody have the Breuss book in pdf?

Re: Water fast or Breuss? Bottled or fresh juice?

<t>I haven't looked for the PDF but have the hard copy I've been reading. His protocol is very detailed, not just the juice itself but several different teas with detailed prep instructions. He said the bottled Breuss Juice was made to his exact specifications and is fine to use, but he recommends making the fresh juice if you have an actual tumor present in order to increase the effectiveness of getting rid of it. For those of us not trying to eliminate cancer, I would bet the bottled juice is sufficient quality to provide comparable nutrition. I can make a post of some excerpts from the book later tonight. <br/>
<br/>
I'm thinking about going for a 14 day Breuss fast myself. At least 7 days, if that's feeling good I'll go to 10 and then 14...maybe 21, just want to play it by ear. He recommends in the book a 21-day fast is adequate for those who don't have cancer and are just trying to heal themselves from other ailments.</t>

I have found a clinic in the Philippine who use this fast, and they say is has to be at least 80% fresh juice to be efficient.

I have read some excerpts with precise tea recipes yes!

Anyone got an opinion on what’s the shortest version of the breuss fast that would still yield great results?<br/>
<br/>
He said you don’t need the full 40+ days unless you’re trying to kill cancer cells.<br/>
<br/>
How many days for general awesomeness Mr Breuss?

I think going as long as you feel relatively comfortable is best, I think it was mentioned 42 days for cancer, and ~20-30 days for general health. And then breaking fast properly, avoiding fruits and fruit juice.</r>

Yesterday I made some fresh juice with a slow juicer. I think I should give a tip... Thankfully I followed the rule to "eat" the juice, and I had a surprise to feel it starchy in the end and spit the mouthful. Then I saw that there was a creamy stuff in my cup: the potato starch. I had filtered my juice, but starch is very thin.

So, I advise to let the cup of juice stand for a while, as the starch is very heavy and settle very well at the bottom.

Also, if you do not have guinea pigs to feed, I find it terrible to throw the remainders of the juice. It actually makes very good soups! So, this is good for the rest of the house who is not fasting but feasting. :cool:
Or freeze the soup...
