Quick update:

I'm 3 days post my last Ella one dose, reduced anxiety has remained and short term memory seems to have slightly improved.

Water fast started today, will see how long I'm able to go.

I plan to get a hair test done in April.

Fasting after Ella? I was told when I did RU not to fast.

Anyone else here? I don’t know man I’d hold off but if anyone else has something to say then sure go ahead. @gbolduev am I wrong here?

@TubZy @gbolduev do you think I should stop the fast?

I fasted before I used RU and I did fine, however not sure how you would feel fasting post RU/ella as I never tried it.

The main point of ella/RU is the snap back effect which happens after you get off ella/RU when your body resensitizes, water fasting technically helps do the same thing. It may be better to wait a few week or two first before jumping into the fast.

@TubZy Thanks. I've only started today so its no big deal really. I'll stop and restart in a couple of weeks to be on the safe side.

Yea- the Ella has a much better chance of working if you wait.

When I did RU, I was fasting for a liver flush the first day (which I decided to abort) and GBOLD said to me "stop fasting! no fasting when you are using RU!"

My thoughts are that we are downregulating pathways when we fast or use Ella/RU. When we come off these drugs or fast, we begin upregulating these pathways again. We want to fill these pathways with minerals and nutrients for them to work correctly.

Fasting before is likely fine, but afterward isn't the right idea from my POV.

So yea I'd wait 2-3 weeks at least for sure.

Update:

I'm about 10 days post Ella (5 x 6mg) and have had some minor gains:

  1. Small but noticeable increase in libido, wife seems happy ;-)
  2. Regular average morning wood ( I never really got it much when on propecia so a welcome surprise.)
Diet has been poor lately; beer and wine at the weekend along with junk food. I need to just commit to eating well and I think everything else will fall into place.

I'm waiting on Biovea progesterone cream should arrive Wednesday and R-Andro (ordered from the states so may take a while.)

I'm going to give Prog a shot as it has been getting rave reviews from @Goose12 , @bruschi11 and @Jack17

I'll update daily when I start a prog cycle.

NIce, good stuff @Chapman.
Yeah, my gains were subtle, but snapback was there I'm pretty sure... and I did notice libido, and e.q. gains over time.
The experience was subtle too.

Update:

I'm 2 weeks into a R-andro run - 400mg a day for 4 weeks. I finally starting feeling the effects of it yesterday: increased libido, less anxiety/ brain fog and less anhedonia which was amazing. The previous 12 days felt very fatigued. Hopefully with the snack back others have mentioned will feel even better. Plan after this is to either do more cycles or start mineral balancing.

Update:

Good news to report. I'm 10 days post R-andro, doing the herb pct.

I felt shit on R-Andro (very fatigued) so its great to be off it, but it did help in the gym!

Some good results so far much better sleep when I can get some (my 3 year old constantly wakes me up!), libido is slightly improved still nothing like it used to be but an improvement, social anxiety has reduced which is great as well. I feel like I'm clawing my way out of the hell this shitty little pill can create!

Cold showers daily and do 5 x 5 strong lifts 2-3 times a week (English did this and its great for building strength), there's a brilliant guide on the internet from a Belgian chap.

Also eating plenty of spinach/kale etc as per Helen/Matty B

I'm hoping as the days go on over the next week or so I may get even more of a snap back.

Was this yourexperience @Goose12?

5x5 is good, I did it after my weight lifting kind of stalled and I was injured, it's a great program, that and ice cream fitness 5*5 or 3*8 or whatever it was.

I definitely felt tired at times on randro but was getting stronger every week or so... If it makes you so tired that it's bad for work, then I can understand quitting it. I bought a ton so hopefully a second cycle agrees with me, with 4-Andro, for the suppressed estrogen. It will raise test and help the fatigue again, I'm hoping.

Spinach and kale with every meal sounds good man.

ARL eventually ?

Hmm maybe with arl/te, not sure im holiday in June so will decide when I get back. I can see now why it took maxout and cd etc 4 x cycles along with the other stuff they were doing to get back to Normal. Im tempted to follow cdsnuts protocol, I was doing a lot of it anyway. That spreadsheet of chi's you sent me was awesome mate really useful stuff.

@Chapman
That was my experience exactly. My biggest inprovements was decreased anxiety from my first cycle. Also herbs are a bit stronger.

Since you are only 10 days post you might get a little more of a snap back. I noticed some more improvements up to 3 weeks.

Chapman, I hope you're doing well mate. Anything to report, it's been a while since we discussed.

A lot say they felt shitty or not good on R-Andro. I have a lot of difficulty at times knowing/being able to tell how I feel. BUT I did feel fatigued and more moody for sure. BUT also, stronger than I've ever felt, more inclined to try and talk to or date girls, and more motivated for other goals. Most motivation was for the gym and sometimes felt like I was sticking it through. I have had sexual gains, but I think it's a combination of things. I put more stock into cycle 1, and ran cycle 2 less long. And have tried the ru, prog, and ru + prog. And a lot of other things. But I will be on PCT after the herbs PCT. I am glad that I did stick it through, bc gains like digestion, feeling better, looking better, etc have improved significantly. I cannot say R-Andro did this or that, so much. I did like it, but it is hard on mood and my joints (even with 4-andro). I do tend to overtrain/ always have now that I think about it. I like it far better than the herbs, I do have the herbs around (never liked pine pollen). Sometimes they make me nauseous/light headed, but sticking it through.

Actually may have screwed this up a tiny bit. Because I should have 15d left of PCT, when in fact I have around 3 days of capsules and several days of herbs.
SO I will reorder. It will come late, maybe I can work out something with strong supplements to express ship asap.

I will do TEI soon. I felt like 30-35 issues were there, and now around 5-6x less. BUT: what did what or helps and what if any hurts... I can't tell.
I dunno man. This is why I didn't go back and edit RU trial 3 did this, this did that, etc...bc I can barely remember. I did a lot of stuff and it's less troubling now for sure.

Do you feel permanent gains?

But I read things like that and remember that for sure I had unbareable anxiety (still some, which I expected but far closer or at my baseline for the most part).
I edited my log... condensed it. AND I think I can put down what I did on one post/page there. Regardless, even if I don't rem any of it (I'm not that messed up), I'm doing TEI next unless it is impossible to get. Catherine has not responded (I know she hasn't for a lot), but I may just go some other route (shipping to Canada).

@MNK99 From what I've read you seem to be doing well mate which is great and well deserved, seems your long fast was the right choice.

Nothing really has stuck for me so far but that's my own fault as I'm still drinking occasionally and eating crap food regularly. I'm doing LDN and TUDCA at the moment but not really feeling anything, clearly need to increase the dose. Feel like I'm spinning my wheels really and need to go on mineral balancing asap.

I have a doctors appointment tonight and am going to request a Gastroscopy. I'm still having major issues with GORD/GERD.

I think it's partly bc I am really analytical at times. ANd try to make sense of why things like PFS happened, or what I should have done instead. Or this thing helped and makes logical sense to try, but this one makes less sense. And this guy's getting better by doing this, and all this. Countless what-if's. I am sure I am better.

I just felt kind of soul crushed last couple months, but I know why. Figuring it out.
Know next steps for PFS and for the other issues (and that solves a ton of issues... so makes rest far easier, incl. PFS). Backups exist to all. So not that screwed, despite how I feel at times. I'll take a step back, relax... let things work themselves out, ignore negativity that is thrown at me... and stick to plans. Won't waste pot'l.
