I agree with a lot of what the others have said... I don't know what else to say.
Mostly psyche meds are bad...
Coming from someone who hates all of them even the one or two that he likes.
I'm thinking that maybe increased blood barrier permeability (from certain psyche meds), may have contributed to such viruses. In the initial stages I was definitely in a haze, and in quitting and after my surgery (completely unrelated to PFS, but I did quit fin like 5-10 days before) it got way way worse. That's when depression and not being able to move became very real outcomes. I can't comment on that particular antidepressant, bc most likely it would send me into mania. The test patches and what not... I don't know, doesn't work for most (but can't say for sure). Some form of detox but being with someone to make sure not to do anything crazy is ideal. Sometimes it helps in short term situations (psyche meds), but
@bruschi11 is right about rampant misdiagnosis with invisible illnesses. And if it's neuropsyche or something... Or some rare virus... It's gonna be very hard to see someone I think in a timely fashion.
I didn't do the detox protocols on HS, but I did fast (you're already really thin, so may not be an option), but maybe it is better to start a milder detox program.
A bio/econ dual prof (used to have a major role at Eli-Lily) told me similar stories about family and personal misdiagnosis and mistreatment a that could have easily been fatal (and he's well off for sure - can afford 2 tier and private care). I
rdetox method, rather than ARL. Some have mentioned to me that 2 capsules instead of the full dose recommended by ARL is gentler on their system. Maybe that or one of the detox methods discussed is better for now. Hospitals, emergency rooms misdiagnosed like hell. I have 2 cousins - one medicine was making him extraordinarily sick (brain illness), the other... Had my brother not got him to the right hospital, he'd have passed... My point is both those are quite often fatal brainillnesses, but they're still here (and even without PFS probably way more functional than me in many ways, tbh).
My brother, a surgeon doesn't take his daughter to the hospital unless for sure it's the best option, considering they are doing spinal taps and such for no reason.
Plenty of Ill feelings to er and other doc's are shared by ENT's, neurosurgeons, etc.
So much self defense I've played with the system over 12 yrs (avoiding details to certain docs, legal letters to certain clinics, removing diagnoses from the record, ignoring all psyche concerns when speaking to family doctors, making sure I know how to explain fatal reactions to emergency departments if I get a rare side effect like SJS), just treating something like PFS is a fulltime job, same with "psyche disorders", let alone managing the side effects of meds, and that's probably somewhat true of hormonal meds too. Full time job for a while, just a part of routine later. Unless constantly taking harmful stuff. Very bad for overthinkers like me. Just picking up a prescription for something that I 99.9% am sure has not and will not cause anything approaching PFS or PSSD and that I've taken probably 600+ times, freaked me the fuck out.
Sorry this is all over the place.
Basically seek help obviously .
What that help should be...
Not sure but I don't think most these doc's are either and only great ones will ever admit that.
If
I listened to their ocd, dx, and the rules for mood disorders, and all kinds of other bs, I'd be on like 3-6 psychotropics now and even more screwed for sure. No known cause unclear symptoms (that match like 8-20 different illnesses) every system, plus no certain name and polypharmacy is a horrendous idea.
