I was having horrible allergies a few days into ARL, which lasted for weeks. They stopped as soon as I added in histidine. No more irritated eyes, runny nose or short of breath. ARL seemed to increase my allergies, but histidine seems to be a must with it. Is it okay to keep supplementing or should I let my body go through the motions and hopefully increase histidine on its own?

You probably need extra protein, folate and B12, helen posted about this earlier, :

This will recycle glutathione:
600mg B1 HCL
500mg B5
100-200mg B6
250-500mg B3,
3-10mg Folate and some B12 to balance out 100mg B2

Tons of people eat too much sugar, this causes the b1 def. Then they start working on fats. but too much stress, causes folate and b12 deficiencies. So boom, you are left with only protein and that is cancer. Since protein will cause tons of ammonia, and this ammonia needs to be get rid of by arginase with arginine and manganese.

This sucks up most of arginine and you have low immune system and NO deficiency. And stuff starts growing. infections viruses, etc

Basically to get rid of all of this, you take lysine arginine histidine. Some mineral supplement plus Bs in the proportions I mentioned. , add E and C ,

Basically you need to reverse everything the whole process how it all happened

Too much sugar- b 1 deficiency
b1 deficiency - working on fats.
working on fats - eventual deficiency in b12 and folate

b12 and folate deficiency - low histidine( histamine goes down CFS)
B12 and folate deficiency- body has to break down protein for energy

Breaking protein for energy - ammonia

ammonia - arginine and manganese def

Arginine deficiency -= vasopressin def= dehydration= NO deficiency =hairloss= no immune system

b1 b2 folate deficiency= low bh4/ zero energy NO synthase makes superoxide. Hairloss

There's plenty of B vitamines in the ARL-supps. I won't be adding much else other than histidine as I want to use ARL as clean as possible. Lysine and Arginine might be something I could add though. Thx for that one :)

I take this one Doctor's Best, Fully Active B Complex, 30 Veggie Caps + 100mg capsule of B1 and 500mg tablet of B3 but I will try carnitine with arginine along with tyrosine, taurine, histidine, whey protein.. Do you take whey protein? It is hard to get good amount of protein when you have bad digestion without supplements.. Single amino acids in free form can't provide the bulk of the protein..

I eat two scoops of whey protein each day, another protein bar or two and about 8 eggs each day. And plenty of meat. Enough protein.

Do you guys think seb dermatitis is a mold issue or an imbalance? Can’t seem to shake mine and notice it coincides with shedding. @Helen

wow 8 egg yolks is a lot of cholesterol. :) I love eggs, but I am not sure if cholesterol in bigger amounts is good for me right now..

@Helen , what does estriol do, as I have read that estriol is the safe estrogen... So there should be three estrogens estriol oestrone and estradiol

I'm on it. Of those 8 eggs I only eat 3/4 egg yolks, tops..

I think it is an acidity issue (causing microorganisms/yeast/whatever to grow). Mine completely goes away if I do apple cider vinegar rinses after washing my hair.

Why does it only affect areas with hair then? If my facial hair grows for a week or two the seb derm starts to affect that area as well.

By sugar you mean every source of carb, starch, fruit etc. ??

You guys need to understand that histidine is also made in pentose pathway. The pathway that makes NADPH. So if that pathway is not working, then histidine is down. And you experience histamine reactions to stuff, like mold etc. The minute you recover NADPH pathway. histidine starts going up. And all allergies go away.
It is funny how I can relate to every example you talk about. Ever since using the so called 5ar inhibitors like pumpkinseed oil and finasteride I got sides like sneezing, stuffy nose and asthma symptoms. I never had those symptoms before I took all those shitty pills.

@Helen I also have light sensitivity when going outside, is this potassium related? My eyes hurt a little bit and I have to squeeze them if I don't wear sunglasses.

we are talking PFS. You need to increase NADPH which 17 beta hsd works on. and problem is solved)) Estrone will go into estradiol
Makes sense, also links PFS to Inflammation [!]. Since inhibiting NADPH-Oxidase also improves Nitric Oxide levels [!], this links PFS and deficient NADPH to BOTH Inflammation and Low Serum Nitric Oxide levels.

Abstract

The endothelial cell layer plays a major role in the development and progression of atherosclerosis. Endothelial NO synthase (eNOS) produces nitric oxide (NO) from L-arginine. NO can rapidly react with reactive oxygen species to form peroxynitrite. This reduces NO availability, impairs vasodilatation, and mediates proinflammatory and prothrombotic processes such as leukocyte adhesion and platelet aggregation. In the vessel wall, specific NAD(P)H oxidase complexes are major sources of reactive oxygen species. These NAD(P)H oxidases can transfer electrons across membranes to oxygen and generate superoxide anions. The short-lived superoxide anion rapidly dismutates to hydrogen peroxide, which can further increase the production of reactive oxygen species. This can lead to uncoupling of eNOS switching enzymatic activity from NO to superoxide production. This review describes the structure and regulation of different NAD(P)H oxidase complexes. We will also focus on NO/superoxide anion balance as modulated by hemodynamic forces, vasoconstrictors, and oxidized low-density lipoprotein. We will then summarize the recent advances defining the role of nitric oxide and NAD(P)H oxidase-derived reactive oxygen species in the development and progression of atherosclerosis. In conclusion, novel mechanisms affecting the vascular NO/superoxide anion balance will allow the development of therapeutic strategies in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

im confused what do you mean by rinses after washing your hair? I usually just spray the ACV on my hair let it sit for 15mins - 30mins and then go in shower and then wash my hair.

yes, this is why it is crucial to increase NADPH and FAD which will increase glutathione recylcling, which will increase active ascorbate, which will recycle bh4 , which will make sure that NO synthase creates NO and no superoxide. This is why increasing NO with supplements or precursors without propery Bh4 levels will lead to veins problems .

This is partly why many sports people die. Since they all try to increase NO levels with supps.

Yeah many don't intake enough Antioxidants or SOD to revert/prevent the neurotoxic/nephrotoxic effects of increased N.O.

@Helen is this supplement slayo took legit or is this just the cofactors and wouldn't work?

It is not about increasing NADPH just to increase NADPH, you need to provide building blocks for NADPH. this supplement provides building blocks as to build NADPH in krebs cycle with malic enzymes. That is the secondary pathway. But we need to build up NADPH in pentose pathway, so this pathway also makes histidine. When histidine goes up, this will increase zinc absorbtion and will bind all the free zinc that is in your system. along with all free iron.

Also histidine is a part of SOD, so without it you have no SOD.

The protocol is in Electrolytes protocol.

I think this is why ARL works so slow. they give zinc, to people who are missing histidine. arginine and lysine.

I think people with PFS have to much free zinc in their system since pentose cycle does not work. And body does not make histidine. Thus zinc is left unbound. And you piss it out.

Zinc is what converts B6 into the active form, and active B6 converts histidine into histamine. And you get a boner.
But if there is no histidine, zinc will decrease hemoglobin , will cause anemia, and will decrease SoD, since histidine is simply not available.

ARL tries to give Bs with Zinc to avoid this. but the dosages might be too low. and actually zinc and manganese dosages might be too high for the gradual increase in histidine to handle it.

this is why we see in Admirals case that he is taking arl for slow oxidizers and gets crazy allergies, zinc in his program lowers already low histidine.

I think the proper way to do this would be to lower ARL dosages to once a day . And increase needed aminos during the day.

I meant just shampoo as you would normally do, then pour some acv on your head while in the shower, let it sit for a while and rinse off. Doesn't smell too good but it really helps when I have a seb derm outbreak.
