Yes, and also all the fascias!

Can there be some bile accumulation? I had to take olive oil and lemon every morning at the end of my quite short fast...
I think fragrance sensitivity can be linked to methylation, and also liver detox, probably more about phase II.

Do you still have bowel movements, or did they stop? (a friend of mine got them during a 3 week fast! she was wondering where it came from!)

Barely any really, wouldn’t really call it a ‘bowel movement’ since barely anything comes out

There's a ton of nerve clusters around the liver, so if the liver is swelling at all you can feel it. It's the reason why a punch to the liver is crippling.

When are you planning on ending the fast Nina?

For now im planning on ending it at the 31 days mark

That might be a cause of other symptoms, if you do not do any enema, because if nothing pushes, then nothing seems to come out. My friend was amazed with the enema to be haviing that much matter comes out! I don't know what would think others, but if you still have thiings inside, then you do not eliminate what would be needed?

Day 26, 5 more days to complete my first month of fasting :)

My weight is down to 124lbs. Got my bodyfat % measured last night which is down to 17%. Very good muscle definition, especially my abs/quads/back (lats).

Feeling kinda rundown at the moment, tired and weak. Not that hungry however, appetite is supressed. Walking/running/riding my bike is very easy, no muscle soreness whatsoever. Feel very light.

I will be breaking my fast next thursday

I will be turning this fasting log into a ‘normal’ log when my fast is over

17% is still acceptable, you are over the 12%!
Let's see if next thursday you decide to go to 42... Maybe with some breuss juices for a transition? After only 1 week, it took me 1 more week to want to eat more than juices and some grated veggies!
you have no muscle soreness because you do not burn any sugar. only sugar burning can make pains and aches. You make no lactic acid when you burn fat. That is why I did not like the idea of even rice to break the fast. I fasted in a place where we went out with a salad of raw onions and lemon juice in it, and then it was chicken soup with veggies and no starch at all. Starch is sugar. I found that juices then veggies and eggs, yolk at least raw, was super good. I lost some benefits when I introduced some fruits. Cortisol and insuline started to make roller coaster.

I think extending the fast more than 31 days is a lot. My bmi is 18.1 at the moment which is underweight. If i gain ~10lbs after the fast then i go into normal range again by 0.1 point only so still low.

I think ideally for women you want to be between 20-30% bodyfat

Men is 10-15% but they have different hormones and more muscle mass to burn in case of emergency

Its impressive willpower you were able to last this long. Remember to follow the refeed protocol

30 days are over, breaking my fast on thursday. Excited to see how my health will go from here.

Symptoms that improved or even went away:

Some acne on shoulders/back which fully went away
No muscle pain/soreness at all
Mind is clear, thinking is easier
Circulation improved, nails have a bit more color on them
Hair doesn’t get oily even if i dont wash it (tested it)
Anxiety is pretty much gone, only if i have to do something really important i’ll get some anxiety, but in a healthy way
Thats it for now, will keep track of my symptoms next month

Got bloodwork done today so i’ll have my results at the end of this week and will be able to compare them to bloodwork from before my fast

Plan/lifestyle for after my fast:

Getting back on professional soccer level. Training at the club everyday with a coach to get back on my old level. When i get back on the team i will be training with them 4 times a week, 3 hours a day which includes the soccer training itself + 1 hour of strength training. Game every weekend.

Diet/supplements
Will be using the slow oxidizer diet as stated by gbolduev, but with a bit more carbs as i’ll need them for my workouts.
Macros will be 40% carbs, 40% protein, 20% fat.
Im not sure yet if i’ll be using any supplements. Might give thorne extra nutrients a try but nothing more than that.

School/work

Haven’t been to school in 2 years but i will be going back there in the upcoming school year (end of august). Will be getting a degree in Health & Fitness which is the same thing i was studying before getting ill with CFS. Need to finish 2 more years.

Will be working at my current job till i can go back to school. Training is in the morning/early afternoon, work is monday to friday from 5pm to 10pm.

I need some help to make a diet plan to break my fast so if someone who knows how to do it could help me that would be great :)

Thank you @gbolduev if i hadn’t found you i would still be in the same place as i was a few months ago, clueless about whats going on with my health.

Wow, congratulations! 30 days is honestly incredibly impressive. I think I'm going to try a longer fast now to see how that plays out( The longest I've fasted is 3 days).

Good luck with your football training and getting back into the grind of school as well. :)

Let us know how your symptoms are once the re-feeding begins, that is when you'll probably feel even better.

I will be breaking my fast later today, meal will look like this:

Home-made chicken soup mixed with electrolytes (salt, potassium)
Boiled eggs (1 or 2)
Some extra veggies

One thing i noticed is that my skin got extremely dry on my heels while fasting. Hope this goes away when i refeed

Proteins are easier to digest when they are not so cooked, especially eggs. Do not boil it! If you want it hard, you can just put it in cold water and take it to "fizzy water point" and stop at this point, and leave it in the water. You will avoid the green part of the yolk, and will have a tastier white, less rubber like.... I would leave it much less time so that white is solid and yolk still liquid, and mix the yolk to the warm but not too hot soup, so that it mixes with the fat of the broth (even if you remove fat you will have some), so that the lecithin of the yolk will emulsify any fat there.

I have written a refeeding protocol, it is peppered throughout the forum if you want to search for it. I think Orion might have posted it in his fasting log. It's a very drawn out refeeding protocol, but it can be shortened.

Hope the refeed goes well. I'm very happy for you that the fast was such a success.

Yeah i saw that. If my maintenance is ~2000 calories (no exercise included), would starting with 1000 cals/day for a week be a good starting point?

Yup, I think starting at 1000kcal on day one and moving up slowly from there is a good idea.
