@Goose12 Hey man good to hear you're doing better! Are you still taking the pro hormone whilst mineral balancing or just TE supps?
I am just taking te supplements, and trying to follow the diet they outlined.

My hair test showed I was high in iron and potassium, two things andro lowers. So it makes sense why I did good on andro.

That's great @Chapman .

It always took me at least a couple of weeks to get good results on r andro.

Here is the quote from Gbolduev that TubZy posted. Has some really interesting information and mentions the 5 alpha, dht, iron connection.
Found this old quote of @gbolduev where he references why taking steroids or hormones on a daily basis is bad and what actually happens in regards to turning off enzymes and mineral wasting. This quote was not in the archive but I believe it should have it's own thread for discussion.

I posted exactly the same for a steroid cycle in PFS thread a week ago. I said that if anyone would take steroids, they should take testosterone with progesterone. Since taking testosterone alone will tank 3 beta hsd. taking androsterone inhibits 5 alpha reductase that is why it works for PFS. I am anti Peat , I dont take any ideas from Peat

I block cortisol( or increase the need for it) to increase it sensitivity . Peat says cortisol is evil. and to lower it.I want cortisol to be more sensitive. DHEA does not block cortisol. It lowers pregnenolone conversions. Thus tanks the whole glucocorticoid branch. Thus many people crash on it and gethypokalemia.

Progesterone binds to cortisol receptors and activates glutamine synthase only at 21% of cortisol but agonizes cortisol receptors. That is why in cortisoldeficiency , you get anxiety. this is understandable, since exogenous progesterone or progestins lower 3 beta hsd and zinc, and zinc is needed for glutamine synthase as active b6 depends on it.

Many women use progesterone to lose their muscular hands, progesterone will tank testosterone = NO MUSCLES

There is no anabolic supplement. Some people need more catabolism and some people need more anabolism. Read Revici work, some cancers are in anabolism and some in catabolism.

All you guys do here is opposite of what Peat says. You block cortisol, you make it more sensitive( I SAY THAT). It is not like you constantly block it to zero. Just block it to zero and live with it. YOU will die. Block serotonin to zero and live with it. You will die from it.

You are doing completely opposite of what you are saying. Your are blocking cortisol for a week. This makes it super sensitive. Then you get off and dont take the supplement. This is what fasting does.

You block serotonin receptor , then you get off the supplement. Serotonin becomes MORE not less.

And now you claim the opposite. LOL NO it is not me stealing the ideas, it is you will be stealing mine soon and spinning Peat into my understanding.

I dont rec any steroids. since if you take testosterone with progesterone, this will make your zinc biounvailable and many other vitamins and minerals biounvailable/

Your PH regulation will be screwed up. since zinc is used in many enzymes.

All these steroid cycles are nonsense and will ruin your health. Even taking pregnenolone will cause problems, since when you take pregnenolone. You make iron biounavailable since you tank 450scc

When you tank your biounavailable iron, you tank your progesterone to cortisol conversion, since you need iron in 11 beta. You also tank your 5 alpha . since DHT requires iron.

So pregnenolone will cause estrogen to go up, to oppose progesterone rise from pregnenolone intake. since conversion of progesterone to cortisol goes down. If iron was there, then metabolism could have gone up. since cortisol conversion depends on IRON.

This is why no one can tolerate thyroid with low iron level. WHY? since iron is needed to convert progesterone to cortisol, and without cortisol, you will have thyroid resistance.

Zinc will increase progesterone levels, THIS INCREASES CORTISOL IN SLOW OXIDIZERS and LOWERS IT IN FAST OXIDIZERS .

Progesterone and progestins also will always act differently on the receptor depending on the cell potassium level.

Update: I have been running tei supps for a little over two months now. I have also been taking hydrogen water off and on for the last couple of months.

When I first started the supps the first thing I noticed right away was sleep was greatly improved to pre pfs, and I had more fatigue throughout the day. Over time fatigue has improved and I can also feel my metabolism increasing.

Lately my orgasm have been almost pre pfs and so has the amount of ejaculate, for the longest time it was just a drop. So great improvements there, but at the same time erection quality was going down. I decided to stop supplementing manganese because I felt like it was increasing prolactin to much. After being off for 4 days erection quality was better than before but orgasm pleasure dropped a little. Still better than before. I am currently taking manganese again. 30mgs a day.

I was reading an article based on a study the other day that claimed prolactin levels correlate with how pleasurable sex is for men. The lower had less pleasure than the high levels.
Here is the article Men's Sexual Problems Linked to Low Prolactin Levels

I can definitely tell hydrogen water is increasing my metabolism. This stuff is great, but right now I am making it with mag rods and it probably be way stronger with a lourdes hydrogen generator. Planning on getting one in the future.

If I had to rate my symptoms they would be: erection quality 8/10
Maintainin an erection 7/10
Morning wood 5/10 this has gone down lately.
Orgasms 8/10
Ejaculate 8/10
Labido 2/10
Spontaneous erections 1/10
Fatigue pre pfs
Sleep pre pfs
Anxiety levels pre pfs
Brain fog pre pfs
Emotions and personality pre pfs
Digestion pre pfs
Metabolism better than pre pfs

Currently all of my symptoms are in the sexual department and I feel like if if had a labido that would solve a lot of my problems. This journey to being 100% is definitely a marathon not a sprint but I am consistently getting better and better. I can always see improvements by comparing month to month not days or weeks.

My plans going forward is stick with tei supps, keep taking hydrogen, get another hair test in a week or two, and may be run a cycle of ella. After comparing my hair test with others my ratios look most simular to @aztec . The biggest difference being iron to copper ratio and my mercury and aluminum toxicity. If I can get my iron to copper ratio in range I would like to cycle ella. It would be interesting if we can show than a certain mineral ratio profile can have success with ella.

When you run out of this supplement regimen take a week or so off of ARL while you are during your retest and see how you feel. This is how I gauged myself, you should feel better when you are off, I would give it a shot. That way you can gauge symptom improvement much easier.

Will do, I would like to go a couple of weeks without anything. Fatigue has been higher on tei.

What happened for you when you took a break? Was it like a snap back?

From what I remember it was like a snap back for you, after you took a break you found yourself at a higher baseline. I think it was the same for @bruschi11 . I wonder if tei will be the same as arl because tei seems to be more balancing, where arl is more detoxing with balancing secondary. Not exactly sure if I am right about this.

Yes, I'm actually trying to get my third test done too. Yes, like a snap back, it took a couple days though before I noticed it. Yeah hard to compare the two, I think TEI works faster, but plateaus easier, ARL works slower and tougher, but more efficient in the long run that is why you got immediate results with TEI. Both I think can be helpful though regardless of your condition, try gauging your baseline in between test cycles to see if you have improved or not

I have now been off of everything for two weeks, including hydrogen water. About 4 days off of the supps I noticed labido creeping up. Little by little labido has been improving. At first it was barely noticeable but over a period of 5 or 6 days it has steadily risen.

This is huge for me because nothing I have tried has made a long lasting improvement in labido. At most I would get short bursts here and there. I have held like this for the last 5 days and it feels like it's here to stay. It's only about a 10% increase from where I was but nothing I have tried has helped improve labido before.

Its hard to put my finger on it but I also feel healthier than before tei supps. My skin looks good, hair is goods, appetite is better and so on.

I just sent in my hair test and i am waiting for the results. My plan going forward is to either cycle ella while I wait for my results and then jump on tei supps or just wait for my new recommended supps. I also plan on taking hydrogen water off and on during tei.

I have had good results in the past from ella and i am curious if I can replicate others recoveries from it.

nice seems like you got a similar snap back from ARL/TEI like I did

Good news goose, how much hydrogen water did you take during your TE program?

I was surprised to actually get a snapback. Things are still holding good, not fluctuating much up or down, which is a good thing.

Wish more people would jump on hair test and take recommended supplements. It's crazy how our imbalances are holding us back.

Thanks @Snow1 , I was taking a liter a day using the test tube method. At first I was taking it on average 3 times a week and was definitely noticing more energy right away, on the days I was taking it.

The last two weeks of tei I was taking it once a day every day. I could feel it really build up in my system taking it everyday. I could feel my body go in ketosis, but with out the negative sides. Usually I get headaches, low blood suger when I initially go into ketosis, slower metabolism, slight depression, a huge appetite, and fatigue. On hydrogen I didn't get any of this. My metabolism actually felt great. I definitely think there is more to hydrogen watar than just putting our bodies into ketosis.

Hear is my new hairtest. Curious to see what you guys think. @TubZy @bruschi11 @IHateFin @aztec @Helen

Just a reminder I crashed from saw palmetto

I was feeling really good after my last hair test but decided to run ella while I wait and I don't know if was a good decision or a bad one. Felt terrible on and right after ella. High anxiety, absolutely no libido, insomnia, and fatigue. I started to wonder if I was going back to square one but I am starting to recover. I am taking b vitamins now and feel pretty good. Labido is still lower than pre ella but everthing else is back to pre ella.

That’s a solid ass hair test, Goose. What are your symptoms right now? I assume you are close to 100%?

Basically everything is perfect except labido. When I get spurts in labido it fixes all of my other sexual sides.

Its interesting my new recommended supps from tei has me taking a lot of b1 and according to Helen it is suppose to help with nadph production. Can't wait to run this cycle and see how I feel.

It does drive me nuts how I can feel so great and healthy but still have low labido.

Update: I have been taking tei for about ten days. On this cycle the fatigue is worst than the first, but i think it's slowly getting better. Also beatine really seems to be blocking cortisol and sometimes I feel like I am just running on adrenaline. In ways it's stronger than ru blocking cortisol.

Last night my knees were crazy sore. All of a sudden it hit me almost like I was getting fevered, fatigue was the worst it's been so far. Felt like i was detoxing like crazy. Today I am feeling really good.

Mentally I am feeling great. No anxiety at all.

My biggest improvement that's happened lately is the preassure around my liver has gone away. I have had it for three years. It makes me feel good about what I am doing.

Everything tei is giving me fits into @Helens theories. I am taking lots of b vitamins, glandulars, vitamin e, selenium, chromium, beatine, digestive enzymes, and a lot of other things in tei supplements. The only thing that kind of worries me is there is no b2 included in the supps, but I am just going to trust tei.

@bruschi11 @TubZy @aztec @IHateFin

I feel like tei is doing a lot of good for my health but it's nice to know that if this doesn't cure me I can go the hormonal route with r andro. For the most part I felt bad on randro but always had a nice snapback. It seems like randro has helped lower my iron and potassium from my current hairtest.

I ran a second cycle of r andro while I waited for the results on my first hair test. It seems like it's helped.

Nice to read some your improvements, but you sound a bit impatient. Reading up on nutritional balancing it says deeper healing starts at two years. Lots here seem to try it and they expect to improve in manner of weeks. They feel worse and quit while still on the first cycle. Doesn’t work like that. It could take months or even longer. Improvements will come, but slowly and not necessarily in the order you’d thought. I wouldn’t jump off too quickly and look for less healthy alternatives, but that’s just my humble opinion :)

I for one am locked in for at least a year, which means a cycle of about 4/5.

I completely understand and agree with you. It just hard to be patient because I feel so close to this being behind me. I had some pretty good results from the snap back of my last cycle I finally have a small amount of labido and I can't wait to have it all.

Ella hurt me a after my last tei but I recovered from it because of getting balanced. It's nice to know that tei or arl can keep this from happening again. That was always a worry of mine was if I get better could this happen again. Ella crashed me pretty had but I snapped back to my post tei baseline.
