Appreciate ya @Goose12 i will stand by and see what this holds.

You’re having bad healing reactions man haha it sucks. You didn’t screw yourself up. Maybe take a day or two off from any supps.

It took me 8-9 days post ARL to recover from that. And I recovered with strong libido after.

Now on detox protocol libido gone again. I think when body has a surplus of toxins in bloodstream to deal with our pfs imbalance takes a big hit.

This is why I’m currently hesitant to start an ARL program, particularly when the three months my hair sample covered are from not taking finasteride - taking finasteride - discontinuation and crash - water fast - eating clean and limited diet.

Watching your thread hairsuit. It’s a conflict between whether what you’re experiencing is expected and part of the recovery or simply not helping you.

Okay. Wow. So @bruschi11 was right, I believe. Yesterday was a black hole, unlike I have ever felt. I felt whacked out of my mind, emotionally unstable, flu like symptoms (achy, high fever, extremely week) but on steroids. My mom does myofascial release, so she came over and worked on me a bit. By 9pm, my 103 fever was down to 97, and my dislocated ankle from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu on Saturday felt like a million bucks! That and a couple cups of Bone broth did the trick. SO..... I’m going to do what @bruschi11 qnd @Goose12 suggested. I’m going to take today off from the supplements, then hit it again tomorrow.
@Concerned , I get your hesitation, and who knows, maybe in the long run this will be a waste of time, but I doubt it. Others have had the same reaction I did, or similar, at least. To me that means that something is working. As I said, I don’t normally burn that hot. Something definitely took place, and now on this side of things, It feels like it was positive. Almost like you know when something was good or bad for you.
I think the real question will be if the ARL is going to be enough to tackle the sexual side of things, or if this will have to be used in conjunction with the hormonal route. Time will tell, but man, I’d love for the ARL mixed with detox to knock it hot in one shot.

I know things are not well forum wise, neither are they here. End of two weeks on ARL. I don’t know what is happening to me. Started out today right as rain. By afternoon, started dragging, by 3pm, had to go inside because I was in pain everywhere, and my energy level was non existent. Got in an Epsom salt bath, and immediately burst into tears for no reason. I literally feel like I’m dying. If this is supposed to happen, whatever, I’ll power through, but if I’ve severly screwed myself up, well....... I can see why people punch out and pull the chute on life. This is no way to live. Would love some advice from any of y’all. Would you keep going, power through? Or am I severly damaging something?

Yeah, I felt horrible the first month. Lowering the dose down to once a day or just taking off a few days and start with a smaller dose when you start up again (I.e. one dose per day compared to three). You can also try jumping in a dry sauna for 15-20min if you have access to that.

What I noticed is thar during the first month I actually felt better on the days I didn't take anything (my baseline increased) that is what made me keep going. Now every once and while I will get a shitty day, I just hit the gym and sauna and I feel like 20x better or I will just skip the dose later that day to give me body a chance to catch up. It gets easier as time goes on.

Yeah, that makes sense. I’m an idiot, in that I feel shitty and basically say, “ Something’s happening! More pain. Bring on the pain”! Truth is, like you say, I need to slow down and listen to my body. Hard for me to break that way of thinking that I’ll take a ton of displeasure now, if it heals me that much faster.

Yeah, exactly. I didn't really know that during my first month, it wasn't until the end of the first month when I started skipping doses and days here and there and realized that is was doing something. During that time period, I just felt like absolute crap (everything was a chore) but mentally I felt way better. I think now anyone that starts ARL should at least do 3 months minimum before quitting perhaps getting another test after each month or after the 3rd month. However I wouldn't require it but it could help speed things up doing it that way (retests aren't cheap).

The first month alone is probably the worst indicator of whether it is "working" or not, that is what I noticed and a few others too (@Niles etc.).

End of week three on ARL. A couple interesting things I’ve noticed. Brain fog has been drastically improved. It’s weird. I feel my body trying to slip into it, but something stops it right on the cusp. Never lets it fully develop. On days where I’m really active, I’m almost unaware of it.
Penis has been much much much fuller. Crazy the difference really. Almost hanging where I am used to it normally being.
Last night, surprise of all surprises, I had a “wet dream”. I have not even had one of those pre PFS for a quite some time. Don’t know if it’s good bad or not, but it encourages me because it seems like something is connecting in the mind/sexual department. Now if only those two departments could get together, hang out, and figure out a way to get back online together when I’m NOT sleeping!
Second liver flush coming up in a week.

Those healing reactions could be crazy. I was in bed all first month when I took ARL. Since I never ever took any supplements in my life EVER before ARL, it was crazy to me and it was very hard to trust it. Many people actually quit. this is why it is important to have a good practitioner who went thru these healing reactions himself. I hope people realize what those practitioners are good for. Just for that. to make sure you dont panic and power thru. I was cursing my first ARL practitioner as if I were giving birth)) Had to apologize later. Also take into account that body chemistry can change very quickly from the first 2 hairtest since those body chemistry are usually not your real bodychemistry but drug induced ones, and they change fast. So retesting is every important.

Absolutely. I took one day off from the supps, the. Continued. Feels like it’s moving fast. I know a couple have retested after a month. Would you recommend that, or would ride it out to 2 mo the and then retest? Certainly moving in the right direction. @Helen

Regarding ARL, does “practitioner” = “helper” per the ARL website? I only see a list of helpers, few of which appear to be MD’s (thought I remember someone saying all ARL practitioners have to be MD’s). Also I do not see Catherine’s name listed as an approved “helper”.

Which ARL site are you talking about?

If you are looking at Dr Wilson site. it has nothing to do with ARL. I don't rec that program at all. or those practitioners

I was indeed on Dr Wilson’s site. Thanks for catching that. I will use the ARL website going forward.

@Minime know that even the practitioners on the ARL site are hit or miss. Basically you you need someone to administer the test and break down the results for you. That’s what I got, but not without pulling teeth. As I said on here, my practitioner wasn’t even going to give me the supplement rec’s, which is what I cared about in the first place. Sucks not having someone who who can help you in walking through the healing reactions etc, but they’re out there, and that’s what this collective forum has done as well.

Update: Fun things happening! So, I’m into my second month of ARL. Plan on finishing that up, then retesting. Have added a few things to the arsenal.

First, finished up the second liver flush yesterday. For all those that questioned the validity of this flush, ‍♂️ And I am one of them, I am a believer. This time when I took the second dose of Epsom salts, and before the oil/grapefruit juice, I was already crapping out stones. So I can say, it’s not the concoction. Also, this time around, there were some MASSIVE ones. Like like almost 1” diameter.

Second, my hydrogen machine arrived yesterday. I have been guzzling that like it’s my job. Might be over doing it, but I feel I’m not that toxic, so I I’ll be okay. We will see what happens and I’ll adjust fire. I bought the Alkaway Ultrastream. Hydrogen, and alkalizer. Great price too.

Lastly, starting yesterday, been heading out to the back pasture, stripping down, and getting 20 minutes of sun on “the boys”. Too soon to tell, but we will see.

So, all in all, plugging along. Brain fog is almost all but gone. Adrenal crashes have been much much more manageable. Again, still waiting for movement in the sexual department. I may be wrong, but I’m not sure anyone has gotten that back purely from ARL. I hope I’m wrong, but I think it will be a combo of this and RU/prog cycle. We shall see! But things definitely looking up! Appreciate all y’all’s help and input thus far.

Glad to hear you're doing well, man! Did the liver flush have you feeling any kind of way during and after? Also curious about your adrenaline crashes - what would usually trigger them, and what would they feel like?

@Niles so this is my second time through. First time, the night of was pretty tough. Spent the night wrestling the puke back into my stomach. This second time was much much easier. As far as results, I can only speak to how I feel at the moment since it’s so close to when I finished. I feel great. Really really focused. I believe with everything I’m using it has helped the adrenal crashes, which I was having up until the flush. The day of the flush I remarked to my wife, “it’s crazy, but it’s afternoon and I haven’t crashed yet. I feel fine”. Now, I fasted that day to prepare for the flush. It feels like food was somehow causing it. That said, I’m two days post flush now, and no crashing. Today I even did two classes of BJJ, all out fighting, and I should be confined to bed. I feel pretty great. What is the H2 water, and what is the flush? I couldn’t say for sure.

Not the brightest thing I’ve ever done. Got the stupid idea of doing a quick creatine cycle to see if maybe that would help in the libido department, while in the middle of ARL etc. today was day 3 of the loading phase. Huge mistake. Stomach is a mess. Brain fog and detachment came back. Stopping that right away. So, I guess that means I have a high dht issue, correct? Not low? I thought low, creatine etc could help. High- zinc helps?

Hairsuit, just read your log. Hope the ARL is treating you well and reading this has prepped me well for what I could be up for.

I’m day 5 in ARL!

Good luck mate, are you still drinking hydrogen water?
