I got also a question to ARL supplement program (fast oxidizer):

I am adviced to take Endo-Met Limcomin like: AM 2x NOON 2x PM 2x

With this i get about 30 mg Manganese per day!

although i have a deficit this amount seems crazy high for me. On some sites i read that our body is containg about 40 mg Manganese...

Has anybody taken Limcomin yet and can report about it?
Since it's balanced with zinc and copper it shouldn't be a problem. Taken in isolation it could cause problems at that dosage. That said, ARL program might make you feel weird while adjusting.

Yep exactly. I'm taking over 60mg of zinc in ARL perfectly fine now, before that I would just take 15mg of zinc by itself and I was screwed. All about balance.

How long these programs are and do you get minerals in balance during one program, or do you have to constantly buy a new hair test? It seems all so marketing and selling their own supplement brand. How much does one hairtest + program cost?

$150 USD hairtest through the right source, 180-200+ through other homeopaths, supplements estimated 150-250 or so.

Aint cheap to get healthy then. Feels bunch of rip off.

What exactly in life that's worth a damn is free? Very little. Unfortunately, health is like a lot of other things - you gotta pay to play.

@mattyb @TubZy @bruschi11 @wuf @Niles @gbolduev and anyone else who can offer input

I've a question that hopefully can collate in its responses all of the various tidbits I've seen scattered around this and other forums but cannot recall.

What are the foods, supplements and drugs that we definitely should avoid if we have crashed from finasteride? I've seen quite a few sentences that run something like this: "I had made very decent gains in getting better but then I took ... and crashed myself again".

Also, any foods or supps that could block 5ARI, however mild, that one might not know about. For instance, pumpkin seed oil can block 5ARI.

Hey @Concerned.
I am not sure if this is accurate, but it's been reported for some, and "studied" (hair forums and sites, random health sites) for some:
-Reishi Mushrooms
-Saw Pawmetto of course
-Milk Thistle (I took it post Effexor, I think it helped a lot with liver issues), and I take occasionally with PFS, but only to help digestion sometimes, or if I feel I take too many supplements and get worried about liver toll. Many say don't use it but also that it may not be so bad, others are against it. And Mattyb and Tubzy et. al, mentioned better liver support implements anyways.
-Stinging Nettle
-Green Tea (not sure) (every single green tea? They all are green tea supposedly according to some people).
-Flax
-Pyegum
-Pumpkin seed oil.
-Soy beans, possibly other types of beans (but not all), Soy Milk, I guess Tofu too.
-There's probably a lot more....
-Some say tomatoes, watermelon, carrots, almonds, walnuts... I don't know if that's true. Best not to obsess and drive oneself crazy.
-I just avoid anything that makes digestion bad for me and has historically and anything that lots of people have problems with brainfog wise and outside of pfs (gluten, lactose, etc).
-Foods that do the opposite of this/ help increase 5ar:

Nice list @MNK99. I didn't know about the reishi, I actually took some a couple of times during PFS and luckily didn't notice anything negative.

I would also add to be very wary of FENUGREEK. People have gotten PFS-like conditions from fenugreek alone, and it made me feel like utter shit during PFS.

Huge thank you for that post @MNK99, very useful.

That’s interesting about stinging nettle and fenugreek. I had been supplementing them for about a month (plus magnesium glycinate and 5 to 10 thousand iu of liquid vitamin d per day). I wonder if that played any part in the severity of my crash?

@Walker I know CD is a big dairy fan. Did you consume any during your recovery?

Yes, lots of cheese, sour creams, butter (all organic when possible). No milk really, I hate milk.

For dairy, I can't recommend kefir enough. It's easier to digest than many other forms of dairy and the probiotic benefits are unmatched. I just found a guy with kefir grains in my area on craigslist and started making my own. Super easy.

@MNK99 @Niles So all tea should be avoided? I drink loads of the stuff lol
Oh no, just green tea really. I drink a couple cups of black tea daily w/ a splash of almond milk now that I'm off coffee for awhile. Just don't add sugar lol.
