Ok, what would make sense to test then (in blood)?
Seems cortisol but also prog and estradiol are more reliable in saliva tests.

you see barbaar has really high cortisol in saliva.

but I am not sure how it is reliable.

check out, barbaar tests.

https://hackstasis.com/threads/barbaar-pssd-log.136/page-16

Notice, urine potassium and sodium. You see the body is losing sodium and retaining potassium.

Progesterone is high. So it is retaining potassium and wasting sodium.

this can explain high DHT.

But we dont know his cortisol yet. If cortisol comes in low. then probably the problem is that progesterone got stuck. meaning there is no conversion to cortisol. 11 beta hsd is not working

If cortisol comes in high. then probably the adrenal axis is high. all of it, and probably needs to be suppressed.
I appreciate barbaar doing all the tests but id like to be a bit more selective, or my wallet wants to actually. :)
The hormones are kinda clear, i am just wondering about the elements.

@Helen we talked alot about potassium wasting, high values in hair, the need to it get back in cell etc.

I was checking out some testing options and one lab measures blood level potasium, but also intracellulair potassium. Would this be of any valuable insight?

Do you have high potassium in hair also?

I guess so yes, but im not focused on cases, more about important values being off. On short term ill do cortisol and some hormones. But as i am on maoi atm i dont think an extensive test makes sense just yet. I want to do cortisol now so i can compare later if i feel better atm due to cortisol normalization.

usually all PSSD people have low potassium in hair , but I saw only 2 tests.

I thought you were not PSSD

I’m pfs. High potassium in hair. Confused on what it means. Potassium is being wasted? So low potassium in cell. Which equates to low thyroid but my hair and blood test confirms over active thyroid.

you are a fast oxidizer. I have no idea why you even look at other people. you are completely different.

Did you try that I posted the protocol for a fast and slow oxidizers. from Watson.

if potassium is high on the hairtest and low calcium, usually means that metabolism is high. so high thyroid.

My diet is pretty spot on to the fast oxidizer diet you posted. I supplement some of those things like E, C, and calcium. Zinc scares me as my copper is very low on test. Prob need b12. I’ll look into it more.

Ok that’s what I thought. I was just confused because high potassium meant it was being wasted from the cell. But yeah I think I understand now.

Im finishing another 3 day 5mg cycle of Ella tomorrow and plan on going into an R andro and small dose prog cycle for about a month and get going on the TEI regimen right after. Do I need to wait a certain amount of time after Ella before taking R andro?
