I got a flu recently, and i think its jacked my metabolic rate and adrenals up. My dry eyes were feeling much better before, but now this flu has fucked them and theyre back with a vengence. Just hoping it goes away when im fully recovered.

Also my supplements arrived today. I'm on

Para pack 1 0 1
Vit E 1 0 1
Adren 1 0 1
HCL 1 1 1
Min plex B 2 0 2

for the diet im not really following it, going to to ketogenic for my suspected SIBO

breakfast:
4 eggs + turmeric
1 can sardines, 4 tblspn olive oil, 1 tblspn balsamic vinegar

lunch:
120g almond butter, 40g dark choc
1 can salmon

dinner:
1 cup berries mixed, 1 cup soy milk
more salmon or chicken or something (will vary)

I've been following this diet for about a month now. My acne and bowel movements are both better - but i went off the rails the other day and had two dominoes pizzas which messed me up a bit (probably weak will power due to the flu)
You should stay away from soy milk because it's crashed people.

Also you just follow tei slow oxidizer diet. A keto diet is just going to slow you down even more and tei diet will help reduce your hunger for junk food. I get the same way on low carb, our body needs clean carbs.

Stay away from canned food as much as possible and high purine foods like sardines.

I am on the same supps as you, plus copper. If you are like me you will probably feel worse on supps. Don't look at things that make you feel better like keto. You need to push your body back in balance.

I started doing the diet TEI recommended me in the fourth (last) test and within 2 days I feel much better. When you are not eating the right food for your oxidiation rate it can make you feel much shittier than necessary.

I was even hungry on the high fat diet. Probably because my body wanted to speed itself up. Now I eat the diet TEI recommends and my hunger is much lower. Even though calorie-wise it is lower. So Goose is right about this.

This stuff works. It is very interesting.

It is crazy how it works. I don't know if I would believe it with out experiencing it. Following the diet makes the supps work better and helps push your body where it needs to be.

Following the diet completely curbs my appetite and makes eating cleaner so much easier. If I go off the diet I start craving junk food again.

I am out in the field a lot for work so it makes packing lunch kind of hard. Homemade jerky has been my new go to. It's a really good source of lean protien. I will have jerky and a glass jar of northern beans or pinto. Beans are great for slow oxidizers.

Yea it's insane how much a difference it makes. For me the fat was good for a while but my oxidation rate changed and now I feel shit on the high fat high calcium, sardines, etc. Mostly depressed mood and very low energy.

Now I boil a lot of vegetables in the morning and at the end add in chicken to boil. Then I take that pan wrapped in cloths in a bag to work. Jerky is good stuff. I like beans too. I just started this type of eating (slow oxidizer) so need to see what I can eat for easy food.

Ok so i've gone back to eating carbs (potatoes was recommended - no grain)

and my stool quality has gone to shit again, but maybe hormonally i feel better.

Anyway i've just ordered @Ocguy 's gut protocol stuff except the probiotics, gonna run this a few months while i keep doing TEI:

Bulletproof Gut Protocol/Sibo Cure

*2 to 3 months daily for full benefit * does give some immediate benefits too. But not what it's designed for

Yerba prima psyllium powder (unflavored)
Raw banana flour (wedo or brand similar)
Amazing grass green powder ( BERRY flavor)
Nutra flora prebiotic ( Fos) OR Bimuno (GOS) OR Inulin
Powder probiotic (
vsl3 or garden of life intensive or solary probiotic powder)
Optional - SBO organisms (
garden of life or Code-age)
Mason jar or any water container with a big mouth and lid

Add 1 tblsp psyllium, 1 tblsp banana flour , 1 serving of FOS , 1 serving of amazing grass, 1 serving of probiotic to mason jar with 1 pint of water, screw cap and shake vigorously , drink down quick

Does not interfere with tei?
I dont think it will since its focus is on the gut, should just improve it I think? I asked @Helen no response yet

Effects of dietary fibers on magnesium absorption in animals and humans. - PubMed - NCBI
resistant starch nhances magnesium absorption.

Dietary inulin and oligofructose increase magnesium and calcium absorption. Most interestingly was the fact that calcium uptake apparently increases with inulin intake only when calcium intake is low or calcium requirement is high, suggesting a modulating (rather than blind) effect.

Dietary inulin and oligofructose increase fecal bifidobacteria.

Galactooligosaccharides improved symptoms in patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

Prebiotics combined with probiotics (called synbiotics) was more effective at gut modulation than either alone.

Since ive been eating carbs again ive noticed a few things:

Skin is oilier
My armpits smell more
I think women look my way more
I feel more confident
Bowel movements turned to shit
Mood heavily depends on bowel movements - after a huge dump i feel euphoric, but feel depressed if i havent gone in awhile
Wake up feeling really groggy, like i'm hungover

I feel like all this is related to bacteria.
Hopefully I can get the good, and more of it, and none of the bad with the resistant starch protocol.
It would just be so great if I could eat whatever, have my health improve, and my HTMA balanced.

ketogenic for my suspected SIBO

breakfast:
4 eggs + turmeric
1 can sardines, 4 tblspn olive oil, 1 tblspn balsamic vinegar

lunch:
120g almond butter, 40g dark choc
1 can salmon

dinner:
1 cup berries mixed, 1 cup soy milk
more salmon or chicken or something (will vary)

Alek, I might have a suggestion, as I read about what you were eating in keto… Too much veg fats, almond are not the best as they have a lot of omaga 6, and they oxidize when made into butter. and also yes, stop the soya milk!
Also, how did you cook your 4 eggs?
Eggs need to ne liquid for the yolk, and white for the white, but under boiling temps! Or else you destroy nutrition.

for slows, they say to avoid sardines yes... But who knows why off purines?
Salmon in cans might have the omega 3 oxidized by the temperatura to can them…
By it frozen and make it overnight with lemon in the fridge. Then cook it if you want, so slow that it stays under boiling temps.

Now my tip for keto….
1) Make mayo at home with good egg and good oilve oil!
You need eggs with all the fats you eat, to emulsify it and ease your liver.

2) increase proteins! As long as there is no carb, your proteins Will not increase insuline. protein + potato yes... And if you mix both at the same meal, you Will modify the pH, not enough for the meat.
So increase meat if you want to stay out of carbs!
- I also have SIBO so I know what you mean!
- I am also a slow so they tell me to stay away from fats...
- if you eat meat and no carbs, you avoid SIBO, and you turn neoglucogenesis on!

You do not need true carnivore, but increase meat instead of adding carbs back.
I Will also do the protocole.
Why you left the probiotics aside?
I would as well, until SIBO is better and bugs back to the colon... Is it for this reason?

Ive gone off the veg fats now

Whats so wrong with soy milk? Lots of people (outside this form) think soy has lots of health benefits. I don't have any sexual side effects (never did fin and got none from accutane) so i dont think it effects me.

Also after reading about this bacteria stuff... sounds like it doesnt matter what you eat if you have great bacteria and are on TEI!!!

Anyway im off keto now. I will persist with the potatoes. hopefully the resistant starch protocol will fix me up with them

My diet looks like:

4 eggs for breakfast (scrambled) + curry powder (includes turmeric)

Potatoes + tuna for lunch

almond butter / dark choc + potatoes for dinner (or something else too like dimsim)
soy + 1 cup of berries mixed in a smoothie

You have no idea how good that diet sounds to me. 7 full days into water fast lol.

The bowel movement thing is exactly how I go. I’m completely reliant on bowel movements and when they are moving, I’m going good. At my peak in late 2017, early 18 I was going 2-4 times a day and always waking up in the morning having to go.

If I cheated majorly and something happened where I missed my later day BM, I’d legit make double the movement the following morning lol. It’s like my gut would get back on track just with a nights sleep and then let loose the next day.

For example a thanksgiving party where I had soooo much dunkaroo dip with crackers along with probably 6000 calories of junk and thanksgiving dinner. I was all worried cuz it was my first major major cheat day since I had fixed my gut. Boom the next day my body just let loose! Lol

SIBO and also bacteria in the large intestine important. When I started attacking sibo it felt like things were moving a bit better and acid reflux went down, but something was majorly wrong still. My dumps were just like not strong. Then probiotic enemas really changed something within a day of starting them.

It’s just hard doing the probiotic enemas near meals. Just doesn’t work at this point in time for me. You have to get to a point where you’re healthy enough to handle them and digestion at same time. Hence I’m fasting while doing them now to load up that bacteria I believe is so important in that large intestine. Antibiotic damage is so so real there.

Well, keep the soy if you want, this is not that much… I would just use it organic to be sure to not take GMO nor glyphosate. I am not even thinking about the estrogens, but when I take a decisión, I remove the reason from the head, so that it makes more room for other things! So I forgot why I am not fond of soy... I think I would vary and use hemp milk.

Are you a slow 2 now? For slow 1 they say 40% proteins, and you are not very high in proteins. Then I don't know if you agree with what i said about the way to cook eggs….

For fats, I do not see you very much out of veg fats, with almond butter. The problem is not veg, this is omega 6 and emultion needs. Almonds are better than the butter, because almonds are still having the emultion, that is broken in the butter, thus the oil coming out. not only the butter or oil form oxidizes but you give the job to your body to re-emulsify it.

I like the Crunch of whole nut, but the most I would do to mix with something else is to put the nuts in a coffee grinder, but only just before eating, no stock even in the fridge. I like this Will small seeds as they are not easy to all chew. Sesame and hemp are nice to grind. I like hemp fatty acid profile, and taste! I also put the powder in water, for a "milk" - by the way you can find hemp milk instead of only soy - and also in coffee. Coffee seems to help fat digestion.

Emultion needs bile, and we need to get out this bile, so we also need non emulsified fats as well, and the best is what you removed: olive oil. I have some in the morning with lemon juice, like a mild liver flush! And I have noticed that fats for supper gives me reflux. So no fat at night and the max fat in the morning, for a mild regular flush.

I also use other veg fats, but all saturated. coco and cacao. And I eat Brasil nuts: result for selenium in the hair test? It went lower!

Ok started doing the gut protocol @Ocguy

Got it all together, drank it down... it wasnt too bad. The berry tasting powder was the main thing i could taste, even if the texture was a little weird. It was fine. Should be able to do one of them a day for the next month or two for sure

BTW i didnt have a mason jar so I used a big smoothie cup and a blender... seemed to work fine
