Well I took it in the morning time with Coffee. So it didn't mess with mine...in fact if anything, I think I slept better by night time. But goddam' stiffies all day and night!!! I
'm talkin' 5-6 times per day. Almost uncomfortable lol
Did any of it stick after stopping?

Not really. In fact I was a little mentally numb for about a week after stopping. Then everything returned to normal (non-enhanced). Kinda like how Nicotine affects me - I can go HARDCORE with 30-60 mg/day or higher of Nicotine for several weeks then stop. For about a Week my OCD is worse and I feel dissociated. Then back to baseline I go!

Are you a pfs sufferer?

I enjoyed your blog a while back reading about histadine. Really interesting stuff.

Hmm how does that work? I heard high doses produce disphoria from prolonged blockage of opioid receptors. So it raised your testosterone from the blockage? What's the theory here?

Opiate receptors are negative modulators of sex hormones...so blocking them tends to increase libido and Testosterone.

Makes sense. I just figured such a strong prolonged blockage could make you feel crappy overall

I've noticed this as a potential help for PTSD.....I'd be willing to give it a run, but only if it has last effects and isn't a band aid. It sounds like for most people that's all it does for various ailments.

@Walker, it seems like a bandaid/crutch bc it's short-lasting and needs to be dosed everyday? Or because it's temporary? Does it require ever-increasing doses? And is it harmful after long-term use?

I don't think it is just a band aid, at least for people who have issues with their endorphins, since it is used in cases for getting off opiates and alcohol for having down regulated receptors. So it speeds up or helps regulate endorphin homeostasis.

If it was just a band aid, I think it would be something similar to kratom or suboxone except it acts in an opposite way.

Not saying it cold help everyone but there is definitely potential.

I don't know how it affects mood, focus, and things like that but I'm sure it's more useful for me than CBD and MMJ.
I can't believe how well MMJ works for some people with similar issues as me, I'm happy for them and I wish something would work like that for me. Those things are hard to dose throughout the day, and most people I know who use MMJ outside of pain and conditions that make it very hard to eat like cancer, are simply stoners.

Maybe high dose CBD would work, but I tried the highest dose I could find in Canada. Although I was on fin at the time. I'm lucky I didn't get a huge major crash with MMJ... although I did for sure have like 10 hours of horrible anxiety and depression the likes of which I've never seen outside of finasteride. So maybe I did crash on marijuana oil... that stuff isn't good for a lot of people with anxiety, mood issues, etc.

I don't know how LDN affects those. If it lowered toxicity of amps, or made it easier to fall asleep or something, or made me less tense... more emotional (but not in a bad way) but like "normal emotions", that would be nice.

I think kratom and suboxone and the like would mess my stomach up and I have enough addictive tendancies without opiates, so that's also not for me. I considered ketamine, but that's a weird drug but it has helped people with treatment resistant depression. My gym back home suggested vitamin injections. I was so confused on finasteride, I heard it as ketamine injections - wishful thinking. They also suggested inositol, but that messes up my stomach, and can act like ssri's which are horrible for me. Serotonin-substances mostly aren't good for me, dopamine is (not chasing it tho). If MDMA worked well, and was a legal medication... who knows maybe that would cure me...

@HerrFisch You're mean :( .
Lol, no opiates, only one (some pain pill).
No heroin, no krokodil, no hallucinogens(I'm hoping) - no pcp, no LSD, etc, no freebase, no crack, nothing injected. No Haldol, no AAP's (maybe brifely Seroquel but I probably threw it away), no Benzos. None of the low-budget "trailer-trash drugs" like huffing, glue, etc. No ketamine, 2 anticonvulsants (reluctantly). One for like 2 days, it didn't do anything. Effexor led to a lot more and finasteride led to MMJ.

I actually hate most drugs, but yeah... nicotine, caffeine, and the safer stimulants (still a dangerous class of drugs) at least helped me get things done and stay high energy and even be nicer to people (not amps so much, kind of zone out and hyperfocus on other things). Only stimulants consistently, never even took most of my prescriptions more than 1 or 2 times (my first doctor was out of her mind, with her prescription pad). I was scared to even take protopic and anti-aging facial wash + moisturizer after all the stuff that happened in early 20s. Scared to take listerine with alcohol, only get zero-alcohol listerine (bc alcohol raises chances of oral cancer dramatically), so if you rinse teeth like 4-5 times a day, it's bad (I'm a little obsessive).

No Peyote (later), no Ayahuasca, no Shrooms, No Scopolamine.
Hamilton's Pharmacopeia - VICE - This guy has the best job ever.

Also no Anabolic Steroids and the like. No Quaaludes (Methaqualone) either... not yet.
@TubZy are Ludes the answer?

"I was in a drunken stupor. I apologized several times already, guys... what more can I say?"
(to paraphrase Rob Ford).

Nice...Nicotine's a great nootropic! Only Modafanil/Adrafanil beat it in my opinion!

Are you talking about vaping? Or something else. Patches? Surely not smoking.

Nicotine does help my ADD (weakly) and I lash out at others without it a bit (not just bc of withdrawal).
Vaping... definitely better than smoking (esp higher pg for me than vg, contrary to what others think should be the case, pg is in asthma inhalers so I'm used to it). I'd quit it for asthma but I just do quick HIIT or similar cardio before weight training or walk a lot. I used to run a lot but I have injuries and I get more efficient results in the gym with more focus on strength training. So yeah it helps me mentally, w.r.t. focus. And it hurts my asthma(not permanently, it gets better when I quit). Mental health is the most important thing for me though.

Does LDN or anything like that reduce toxicity of d-amphetamine (it's not highly toxic, but probably is at super high doses, and maybe longterm). It does 100% cause tremors.

Anyways, I don't mean to derail anything... but this other stuff was mentioned.
I go pretty high in dosing of nicotine too.
