Short term solution for itch, what I would do, try to push histamine. Could be low from high cortisol. Histidine and b6.
Plus something to chelate iron.

But just on your assumptions that you have high cortisol, Dht ...

Did you post what supplements or things you are taking from arl ?
@HerrFisch
@Helen
My ARL sups are as follows:
GB-3
Endo-Dren
Paramin
Endo-Pan
Megapan

I’ll check to see if I have B6 in my sups. I will have to get histidine. What would I take to chelate iron?

I'm sorry for you @Minime.
If I would be in your situation, I would do the following:
- Shave my head
- Brace myself for a horrible ride on ARL for a year
- Use external stuff ONLY to manage pain etc. (put some ice if there is pain, etc.) NO hormones or anything else. If there is no way out skip a day, etc.
- Postpone every other goal in your life. They will be much easier to accomplish once your system is in place. You don't lose a year - actually you will gain years hopefully!

I think you have too many issues (PFS, PAS, Hypothyroidism, ...) to tackle them individually. If you treat one thing, the other things will get worse.
It's alway this way because it's a system!

You need a program for your whole system: ARL, TEI, Electrolytes Protocol.

I wish you all the best!
Thanks @manu
I have been online much of the day reading about how to shave my head, reactions I can expect, whether or not DHT will continue to attack after shaving, etc. I don’t want to but it’s looking more and more like I may need to do so, which is just killing me. Thanks for your input, much appreciated.

Get labs done ASAP
Agree. Just wish I could find a doc who is willing to get me the labs I need. They’re always so hesitant to do anything more than the absolute basics.

Yes I am taking ARL but only once daily. And to be honest I’m not consistent on taking it daily, but I try to be. But I had stopped while taking RU and my hair started falling out before I used Prog or jumped back on ARL.

I just wish I knew how my system is so different from everyone else’s. Plenty of people on here have used RU, even at higher doses than me, with no negative sides. I don’t think anyone has had negative sides actually.

Try to up your sodium a lot . and also take zinc and b2

I took it and I had sides. We'll finally get there. Don't give up!

Update for anyone interested:
No change. Shedding continues. Scalp is on fire and itchy so I am taking ibuprofen to help stave off inflammation. I have no idea if it is helping.
Life pretty much sucks.

Dude I shaved my head and I got ALL KINDS of reactions. Girls from my work said I looked like a famous Dutch guy. Some of them really liked it. Others did not. I shaved it as short as possible.
My parents said I did not look good with shaved head.
My friends said it looked fine.

At the end of the day I did not ask anyone. I literally did not care. You see I got different reactions. It was very freeing. After initial reactions life went on and there I was. Fine.

I accept(ed) myself like this, every way. It is a great feeling. And it is something you need to learn. Otherwise you will always have negative opinion about yourself.

The reactions of people are the least of your problems. People live in their own dream world. Most people are fucked up (unbalanced, drug addicted, dopamine junkies) why would you care about their opinion? They give zero fucks about your head being shaved. They give zero fucks if you live or die tomorrow.

BTW ibuprofen won't save your hair.

Good luck my friend.

You’re right. I know you’re right. I’ve just always been one of those guys that cares way too much about what others think of me. I know it doesn’t make any sense and I need to get over it. I’ve been working on that for years. I don’t think I’ve made much progress LOL.

I don’t think anything can save my hair at this point. Would be nice to know what RU did to cause the hair loss though.

Yea dude. If guy/girl is a prick/bitch, always think "is this person paying my bills?" No? Fuck them.

Same for people who put celebrities on a pedestal. Those people don't give 1 FUCK about you. Why would you idolise them? It is stupid that people are brainwashed to idolise "celebrities". Become your own hero and make a story.

Update:The downward spiral continues. Hair is almost all gone from the top of my head and I have a thin cover on the sides and back. I look like a freak.

Doc still thinks I will be completely bald on top/front by the end of November, with the sides and back taking a little longer.

He believes the hair left on my head is dead. It’s all very thin and lifeless. The amount of hair I lose daily is so disappointing.

All my bloodwork from the Endocrinologist came back normal. Even Estrogen was normal and that is usually very high for me. I read that high estrogen will help prevent hairloss so perhaps the falling estrogen is part of my problem. The other noticeable change was testosterone. Usually I am in the 100s range but with this latest bloodwork it came back in the 400s range. So estrogen fell, testosterone rose after taking RU.

I read an article that said RU kiils the hair follicle bulge. It renders the follicle dead. I suppose that is what happened to me. I’m not sure why I’m the only one effected in this way though. The rest of you guys who took RU, even at higher doses than me, have had no hair fall issues.

My scalp stings with pain and itchiness. I also have a lot of dandruff so the dermatologist gave me something for the flaking/inflammation/redness. Who knows if it will work. It is a corticosteroid.

I’m still taking B2 and Zinc. Apparently it is not helping.

I have another bloodwork report coming but I will not get the results for a few weeks.

Just wish I knew wtf I am up against here. It’s as if RU never left my system and it is still doing damage because I can feel it via my scalp. I suppose that could be the case...that it hasn’t left my system yet, because it supposedly has an extremely high affinity for certain receptors.

If anyone has any thoughts that might help please let me know.

I hope you’re all doing well.

Hi, man / I am so sorry that this happened to you. I dont think that hair is gone at all. it is just you are in the body chemistry now, which loses hair at the moment.

@Goose12 , also took Ella or RU between his cycles of TEI and he crashed and TEI pulled him out.

I think this is your best chance. Go on TEI and stay on it. I am 100% sure, within half a year you will have your hair back.

I think your cortisol receptor might have upregulated like crazy from RU. And also you have hashimoto.

I am so sorry I did not stop you in time of taking this garbage.

Please go on TEI and stick with it for a year. you will be all restored. and hair will grow back. It cant disappear just like that.

Ru is not in your system. but it could have effected your Cortisol receptor.

If you cant afford it or cant do it, try urine therapy. It is growing my hair back nicely from finasteride use. I had the same situation like you, I took finasteride and hair just started to go like crazy, I lost like 70% of it.

One glass of urine in the morning. It is very good to restore the body when some receptor got upregulated or downregulated , especially if this is a new situation

@Helen is there anything that would hinder the benefits from urine therapy?
For example drinking alcohol before bed and then getting byproducts into the morning urine.

Also could you re open your urine log as it was very interesting reading through your progress.

Thats great! Seriously if urine works out for you im trying it out 110%

I read somewhere long time ago that romans or some other ancient civilization used urine along with potatoes and some sulphurous vegetables topically as a cure for baldness. Not sure how that worked out for them...

Yo dude try to keep your head up in this situation. You sound like you are handling the situation well. Try out TEI or the urine like Helen says. I think this is best chance of becoming healthy and going back to a good baseline.

Did you shave your head yet? If not I would highly recommend it. Especially if it looks like dogshit right now. It will give you break from seeing your shit hair. And often people look fine with shaved head. Even if your head is not perfect shape.

Good luck man.
