@Orion, I think high dose b1 should have lowered ferritin. And then the body asks for b2 to provide methylation to get to adrenaline to work on fats.

It would be nice if you tested it and make sure ferritin is down , since if it is not, then copper is involved .

Forgot to mention I am taking 250mg silicic acid every day, I have high aluminum on high test. Doesn't aluminum impair krebs/TCA as well?

Will try and get labs sooner, need to setup a family doctor, all free in Canada but takes time.

yes, alluminum screws up with acetylcholine also. It is good to get it down.

@Orion do you have no issues with brain fog/mental clarity?

What effects do you notice from the B2 specifically, less oily skin?

yes, please get the test. Since iron raises cortisol and cortisol constantly puts sugar into the blood. and thus FATs dont work.

Why would they work, if cortisol is constantly pushing and breaking protein for sugar.

This is why you have oily skin

Isn't this the similar mechanisms that happens with diabeuc people ( for diferent reasons)? Insulin doesn't work and body has to deplete protein?

Have you taken any extended time off from the electrolyte protocol? Curious if the benefits will stick.

I haven't stopped yet, taking NaCl MgCl KCl, is easy and super cheap.

Will be water fasting the month of Nov, so will use them during that. Then planning to use nothing but food in Dec, then new TEI hairtest in Jan.

Dec on just food will see where I am for baseline.

Right now though, it seems all my success is coming from B's and mainly the high dose B2.

Sounds like a good plan. I’ve been feeling good on B2 and B12. Less oily. Less shedding. Might be lowering prolactin nicely.

What kind of b12? Oral?

@Orion what do you think the b2 is doing? I think gbold was saying it supports cortisol?

Check out my latest test results. B1 is high and b2 is on the low side. Might explain some of our issues.

If you look at the riboflavin wiki, it is part of many many reactions and systems. One is that it is part of the fat(beta) oxidation reaction.

Also I believe there are very old studies showing that you need to completely saturate the system to get b1 and b2 replete.

So I need to high dose b2 to get it back up?

I’ll wait for @Helen to comment before I launch into taking the b2.

It seems like a pretty obvious cause of my high cortisol and low copper but I’ll wait till he gives me the green light before starting just to make sure there’s nothing else I need to take with it or consider.
