Role of glucocorticoid receptors

I've been like that since 2-7.
I wrote 20 page papers in elementary.
Not about this all obviously.
Not all of life can be defined by 4-8 mineral ratios.
-200 000 words of notes, for 950 word assignments in 5th and 6th yr econ. 4000 words for whatever reqrd length in K-6. Teens---adult ---> hyper + hypo + intelligence + passion.

It's not potassium nor wasting potassium.... it's mania or hyperactivity for some.... or just being wordy, long-winded, not being able to process information in such a way, that it can be explicated upon, in concise matters.

At least I don't write like fucking economists (kind of do), I mean read the Wealth Of Nations. Each page is like 1 run on sentence.

Geniuses write like this hence, 100's in uni level english at 16 and high school levels at 12-14.
Not kidding. Don't worry I fucked the rest of life up anyways.
Not really... at times, it wasn't my fault tho!

@RebelWithACause dude ive been trying to copy you with the magnesium and potassium thing together, i take about 6g of potassium chloride and 3 grams of magnesium chloride before bed alongside with some taurine and b's
Never felt better in my LIFE!!! Always wake up feeling refreshed, energy is always high and FUCK i feel MANLY!!!
I think you may be onto something huge...

I take this stuff all the time
And have since refeed that electrolyte simple protocol/ not a protocol.

And I think yes it's helped A LOT but mostly, in not crashing/not stagnating/not having ups and downs. I definitely do feel manly. But I think for sure it's A LOT OF THINGS at play.

IS THIS WHAT STOPPED ME FROM CRASHING EVER THIS YR?? MAYBE. THIS + FAST AND REFEED. @Helen

I'm still not convinced this will do jack for mood nor adhd but I have serious issues there, like lose your license, stay awake 20 days issues. It wasn't bc of getting healthier (only).

Catherine's refusal to answer very brief specific questions makes this evident.

She agrees that I know best for me.

So ya I'll try it but everyone needs to focus on total health.

And not all need extreme balance. I put on like 10-14 lb lean mass. That sounds good but worth no sleep?

Most my life I didn't even care about sleep, but it's BC i know I'm at the penultimate step for pfs but more crucial longer lasting things (business, future, etc).

Fasting definitely was key and I'm obviously thankful to Helen. But I highly doubt a lot of what's said here. Things I've criticised others of from other supporters of various other health forums .. tend to believe me and write me everyday lately. And obv being impulsive I answer mostly. No one is beyond reproach.

Yea man this is from @Helen electrolyte protocol

I think it does something positive for sure. I do think you need other minerals too. Just experiment.

A lot of things, yes
But for most of the things the change was gradual and smooth transitioning. But this.....
Seriously, i wouldnt be suprised if you could compare this to tren.
The only downside is i wake u during the night feeling super hungry with hunger pains in stomach.

Sometimes to fix alkalosis you need higher dosages of magnesium and potassium. that is why I said that some people could just get fixed in one day, if they did IVs with those.

Potassium and magnesium are usually for volume expansion alkalosis

some folks will need sodium plus potassium. for volume reduction alkalosis.

I started with 1-2g potassium a day last week, slowly adding in magnesium and sodium along the way, and I was feeling pretty good as well. However these past couple of days I all of a sudden started getting super anxious and a bit depressed, and scalp itch disappeared even though I didn't change anything. I'm gonna take a break from the electrolytes for a few days and hopefully things will pick up. @RebelWithACause didn't you say things started out good and then went a bit downhill for you too?

you are 4 lows. You use a lot of calcium also remember. Potassium will increase the met rate. but it will put more pressure on calcium in your case. this is why 4 lows people always crash when they try to speed up. Be careful. try to take all electrolytes.

This is what i think i have, my dutch test showed high cortisol, high dht, high t, high dhea, it is because cortisol receptors are insensitive.
Infact if i stress even for a few seconds i get immediately change in heart beat, scalp burning, need to take electrolytes, cortisol is not sensisitve and i can't have a proper response to stress

This also explains why some people recovered from pfs trough meditation, the GR had a change to adjust

But ru didn't do shit for me

I don't get how so many people can take so much grams of potassium while i just taking 1g a day for 5-6 days i get near the end of the range value of blood potassium

I can't take much either.

Check out this article on glucocorticoid (cortisol) receptors:

Glucocorticoid Receptors: Gateways to Control Your Levels of Stress, Inflammation, and Anxiety - Selfhacked

Some quotes with my comments in red:

"When the glucocorticoid receptor is over-activated, it becomes resistant to the effects of the glucocorticoid hormones (R). This can cause excessive CRH and ACTH. When ACTH stimulates the adrenals, it can release other hormones like mineralocorticoids and androgens from the adrenals."

"Mutations of the NR3C1 gene (which encodes the glucocorticoid receptor) may also contribute to glucocorticoid resistance (R)." - I have at least two miner alleles in this gene

"Glucocorticoid resistance symptoms are similar to symptoms of low cortisol. In addition, the body compensates by increasing CRH and cortisol. CRH can cause excessive secretion of androgens and steroid hormones from the adrenals...also causes the body to be more vulnerable to HPA axis dysfunction"

"ACTH causes the adrenals to release a lot of androgens (testosterone and DHEA)" - My blood tests show high DHEA and Free Testosterone

"Dexamethasone (a synthetic glucocorticoid/steroid medication) has a high affinity for glucocorticoid receptors" - Some PFS'ers allegedly felt better on Dexamethasone

"Chronic lithium chloride injection increases glucocorticoid receptor production (mRNA expression) in rat brains" - Recently a woman on PSSDForum was cured while taking lithium (among other things)

"High vitamin B6 concentration suppresses glucocorticoid receptor production, while its deficiency enhances the body’s responsiveness to glucocorticoids (R)."

"Curcumin inhibited the glucocorticoid receptor’s ability to change cellular production in a human cell study (R)." - Some PSSD'ers report feeling better on curcumin

"Mifepristone...lowers glucocorticoid receptor activity (R)" - Some PFS/PSSD people here report feeling better after an RU-486 cycle

"Glucocorticoid Receptor Activation Decreases the Expression of 5-HT1A: neuronal serotonin receptor (R)" - This receptor is theorized to be involved in PSSD

Given all these connections, glucocorticoid receptors should be of interest to us here!

Interesting! My DHEA is abnormal. I'm also interested in experimenting along this path @Helen @talkingant .

I think all of them come in a tablet form, fertilizers are the only one that come as a powder and i wouldnt be messing with that.
Most pharmacies should have them.Thats where i found mine, they come in 1g tablets, 24 in a box.
