I wonder if the licorice cycle has the same effect as the ru cycle. Jack did you do a licorice cycle? If so how would you compare it to the ru prog cycle?

If Prolactin is an issue so why not take very small amounts of ru like 1-2 mg for 2 weeks.
Never tried Licorice.

Update:
This is Day #5 after stopping Ella. I took two days of Ella 5mg. And it's Day #11 after stopping progesterone. I have felt improvement starting 3 days ago. Improvements include libido to about 70% and ED 80%. Morning wood significant every morning. I have noticed warm genitals for the past 4 days. This question is if this will stick or not. I think typically it doesn't. My plan will be to restart Progesterone 6 days after stopping Ella but if I continue to improve and feel better then I will hold off starting progesterone cycle. I took on 1/2 dose of Caber yesterday because I thought libido might be dropping slightly but that's better today. Unclear if I needed Caber but I took it anyway. Past three days I feel better in general. Specifically, my head is clear. I feel very alert and almost slightly euphoric and it's almost like a drug type effect and it's very noticeable. I think I actually look better too. I feel like I look more rested and refreshed, if that makes sense.

This might be a dumb question, but what does RU stand for? I have no idea what I am looking for.

Has this been one of the more promising therapies for issues of libido? That's what I am struggling with the most. Haven't been able to get my libido above 0% in the 21 months since quitting Fin

Yes. I think RU around 10mg daily for three days and use something to counter the rise in prolactin from RU.

Update:
This is Day #7 after stopping Ella. And it's Day #13 after stopping progesterone. I continue to feel pretty good. I have clear thinking and slightly extra good mood, if you know what I mean. I've noticed for the past week that I look more refreshed. I think it's from less facial swelling....Interesting. Libido is definitely better than last week and I'd est 70%. It's not normal but better and not as good as when I was on progesterone. I think for now I'm going to NOT restart progesterone. Hopefully this will stick and improve over time. If I get any worse, I plan to restart the progesterone protocol cycle.

Yes. It has worked for me, Jack and others. If I were to do it again, I’d do RU 25mg for 3 days. Take 2 days off then start with 1-7mg of prog cream for 10 days applied to testicles or rectum. Take 4 days off and repeat with progesterone.

Use mucuna prurients manage prolactin while doing this.

Jack has good ideas with this too he’s been working with it for a bit.

Update.
This is day 8 after stopping Ella. I am pleasantly surprised that the benefit continues. I haven’t had a drop off yet and maybe ever so slightly better each day. I’ve had enough drops or relapses to know this might not last.

I noticed that in the original propecia thread the guy was doing prog every other day when he was about to taper his intake.
I wonder if doing that was important in the end.

I've thought about the same thing. I think it's worth trying.

Difference between RU and Ella? Also, does this mean during the break you're no longer applying progesterone?

1 cap- forget dose. Just keep it low. It crashed me in terms of fatigue when I took 2 a couple times.
Thats surprising, i wouldnt expect L-dopa to give fatique issues, more the opposite. It can give me headaches though.

Update:
Day #11 after Ella and day 17 after stopping progesterone, and I continue to feel more normal every day. It's too early to consider this a recovery but I'm very pleased with the progress. The important part right now is that I am not I am taking cdp choline and Inositol daily. I take Vitamin D every couple days. I started getting a migraine Saturday so I took a 1/4 Caber. Headaches for me are triggered from rising prolactin ( most likely.) Bottom line is that I am feeling better, more normal than I have in 1.5 years. I'd say I am currently at 80-90% normal.

Wrote the above in a rush. I meant that the important part of feeling this much better is that I haven't been taking progesterone in almost 3 weeks. I am taking cdp choline and inositol ( someone recommended it.) I take Vitamin D every couple of days but otherwise not taking anything. I think this is really good news. I hope it lasts.

I also have kind of a weird symptom. It's difficult to describe but I will attempt anyway to see if anyone has noticed the same. I have this ever so light tightness deep in my sinus area. It's not unpleasant and infact it feels abnormally pleasant. It's almost as if I am clenching my jaw but it's a good feeling. And I have been in a good mood for the past week or so and have felt more mentally clear. I started getting a migraine Sunday and my mood of course was bad that day but otherwise this has been an exceptional several days. I wonder if it's a feeling of more normal brain chemistry. Time will tell!
