What about methylation to downregulate progesterone receptor sensitivity?

I can give a try this high dose progesterone protocol while fasting for 3 days. What dosage would you recommend and where to apply the progesterone cream? Im around 80kgs and 180cm. Bf around 13-15%.

Most of the POIS crash from orgasms happen from too much sex and mastrubation. You keep your zinc levels very low this way, and zinc is neede for 3 beta hsd. body adjusts to this by increasing progesterone receptors. And then you quit masturbation. and boom you have problems, since now you do have zinc but progesterone is too sensitive and puts potassium sky high into the cell. And this requires cortisol but cortisol is made from progesterone and your body cant raise progesterone since potassium is too high already.

So in this case you can take progesterone very high dosage for 3-4 days, then quit and eat and make sure to retain a lot of zinc. this time.

I think there are also other ways to make progesterone less sensitive, may be ella and ru do it even better taking with progesterone.

Im just afraid i will get horrible anxiety and depression with high dose progesterone just like when i block my aromataze enzyme. I felt on the verge of killing myself so its no joke, if high dose progesterone would make me feel like that im really hesitant.

And yes, i was an excessive masturbator while taking fin but had no problems except for low libido. Then i stopped fin and started recovering libido in the summer with lot of sunshine and nofap for a week. Then i ejaculated and pfs ever since. Your explanation seems totally correct to my case!

I am starting a 40 day Breuss in 2 days, I think will add some high dose Prog during the fast (300mg for 4 days), maybe during week 2 or 3. Good idea?

I completed a 14 day water fast two weeks ago, but the effects seemed to wear off in the last 2 days, skin issues creeping back, which I would think means my Progesterone is to sensitive in my state (ate tons of seafood in the last 2 weeks). I think my issues are a combined post POIS accutane syndrome...

Orion mate, how do you feel on high dose progesterone? Anixiety, depression, anything? We should feel bad on high dose prog as we are too sensitive.

I did 200mg/day Prog for 3 days on my first 3 day water fast, and I didn't really feel bad on it other then it gave me high cortisol symptoms, ie really crappy light sleep ( felt like this on high dose isocort/cortef).

So maybe it won't be needed, zinc seems to help my skin issues post my first 3 day fast. Post 14 day fasting, I only used food(seafood), but after two weeks of great skin, issues are creeping back. So something in my retinoic, Prog, zinc, etc paths... isn't working right...

You should try short fast on progesterone. and then eat well.

actually no. progesterone goes up and down based on your potassium level. So to see if your progesterone receptor upregulated or downregulated we need to see potassium level vs progesterone level.

Also dont forget tons of people after their crash from finasteride start taking zinc. This sometimes skyrockets their potassium in hair and makes a confusion

There are 2 cases here , some people benefit from serotonin increasing drugs, and feel ok on them. I remember I could not tolerate anything that increased serotonin. Inositol caused major depression, and anxiety, 5 htp caused crazy trips , same as with tryptophan.

Same with POIS people. some people do great on active b6 and SSRI for it. And some people get really really bad on those increasing their symptoms.

Can you also outline what to look out for in terms of high potassium versus low potassium, like symptoms wise?

Would low potassium increase adrenaline and cortisol for example? Because if RU tanks potassium that could make sense why cortisol and adrenaline could be high.

RU blocks cortisol, thus raises adrenaline and cortisol

RU blocks cortisol from binding to the receptor, and if cortisol can't bind it will rise in serum, correct?

Decisions... was really looking into the longer fast, would adding high dose Prog in a long fast give the same effect?

I definitely did not break my first short Prog fast with the right foods or eat the proper food afterwards. But since the snapback didn't stick for more then two weeks after the 14 day fast, I guess longer fasting might not work either if this is progesterone sensitivity.

Maybe I will postpone the 40 Breuss and do another high dose Prog fast, really wanted to reap the benefits on a longer fast, still shedding way too much, and could actually drop some more BF%.

I got high potassium in the cell and low end of range progesterone, so my progesterone sensitivity is way up???

If your potassium really high then yes.

in this case body will be losing zinc in urine. and 3 beta hsd downregulated and hence low testosterone

You see progesterone is regulatory , if you are doing something or taking something that effects potassium then your progegesterone can go back and forth. But if you took nothing for a while and you have high potassium in the cell and low progesterone, then yes you have problems with progesterone sensitivity and this castrates you . and also causes you to crash after ejaculation. since high potassium in the cell needs high cortisol, but your 3 beta hsd is low since progesterone is too sensitive , so there is not enough actual progesterone there to be converted into cortisol. And you crash from orgasms, I am not sure it is your case with the crash from orgasms. But I have seen this body chemistry many times.

You can try to make progesterone less sensitive, This will retain zinc and allow you to handle Co2 better

This is a little hard to follow. I have high prog. Does this means that the prog receptors are downregulated and the potassium is low in the cell? My goal should be upregulate the receptors?

Guys, I am here. Just super busy. I posted some stuff on Ihatefin log. check it out.

Also dont forget Ru and ella are experimental, we dont know how they act exactly. I am planning to test them soon.

Also I read a lot about depo provera again. And it it looks like it also affects MR receptor. So that could be the culpit also.

May be that is why RU with progesterone worked for ihatefin taken together.

I pretty much outlined the 2 cases, receptors upregulated and downregulated.

So we need to see the final results of the RU trials.

Snell you keep asking me about pine pollen over and over again. I never took it . I don't know about it. Snap back should take little time like 2 weeks.
Goose did licorice root and said his potassium took 6 weeks to get back to normal and his erections came at the 8 week mark.

I've been off 5 weeks and after the initial snap back at 2 weeks and then down period for a week or so, it's got better since then.

I'm wondering if potassium can take a while to restore.

Could you expand on the metabolic alkalosis and volume alkalosis that you speak about with pfs.

I'm wondering if trying to address could be another route for us to investigate and try to treat.

Gbold, it's good to see you posting

I'm starting a three day cycle of RU at 50mg per day this Monday. I wanted to see what you thought of my labs

collection time and date: 2:49 PM on 10/9/17.

Total Testosterone: 531 (250-1100 ng/dl)
Free Testosterone: 60.0 (35.0-155.0 pgml)
SHBG: 43 (10-50 nmol/L)
Estrogen Total: 110.8 (60-190 pgml)
Potassium random urine: 57 (12-129 nmol/l)
prolactin: 5.3 (2.0-18.0 ng/ml)
Progesterone: <0.1 (<or=0.2 ng/ml)
Cortisol: 13.2 (10-50 nmol/l mcg/dl)
( For 7am-9am): 4.0-22.0
( For 3pm-5pm): 3.0-17.0

deff don't have high Prog

at least I don't have already high prolactin that I'm sure will rise some from the RU I suppose right?

SHBG seems on the higher end of the scale but it does not seem to be lowering my free testosterone that much.

Cortisol a little on the higher end of the scale for a 3pm sample ?

guys!!! Gbolduev said he likes my idea about taking ru with prog when doing longer cycles to make sure it makes prog receptors more sensative. he posted this comment in my log thread.

i definitly think that ru hits all necessary and most effected receptors (prog, cort and androgen), but its a matter of making sure the ru changes the receptors back to previous fin states. i think that could be done by taking certain things along with it or maybe taking a few really really short cycles since once that prog is reduced the drug will just agonize the receptors its self. i feel like we are close! and i think our long 7 plus day ru trials with nothing taken with us give us some insight on what steps to take.

i personlly believe next ru trials should either be 3 day cycles with nothing, 3 day cycles with prog or 7 plus day cycles with progesterone. plus taking extra progesterone with ru will cause ru to act against other natural progesterone properties. if progesterone is an antiandrogen and cort agonist and reduces 5AR then maybe ru will also more strongly ct against those effects with the extra prog floating around.

ru is very expensive and im letting my body take a break from actual meds so im doing inositil and randro for now, but will experiment with a prog plus ru run in mid 2018 or maybe even early 2018.

maybe even taking 5adhp AND progesterone with ru could also be best as 5ADHP with ru would REALLY ensure brain prog receptors specifically are upregulated.

i took 5adhp with my first ru cycle and my mood was through the roof and libido was great! and i didnt have random boners or super strong morning wood so this could be indication that the 5adhp with ru had a soecific change in my neuroreceptors while not a huge upregulation on the rest of the prog receptors in my body. could be the case, but this is just some food for thought.
