Maybe it will take time for the receptors to adapt?
Maybe this is why improvements don't stick 100% at first?

Did Gbol cure himself or is he a biochemist?
It sounds like he figured out the whole thing.

I don't remember..is this theory valid aslo for people having progesterone in range?
It's not about me but about another guy I know and he tested progesterone and it is in the range.

I would imagine they are just going to say his prog receptors are not sensitive.

That sounds right brix considering finasteride is a damn progestin. I never would have imagined that the piece of crap blue pill was a synthetic hormone.

update from Gbol:

hey, I will be on the forum tomorrow
I was stuck on the road
I think it may have to do that with the longer cycle
it effects cortisol
too much

I think every now and then we need someone to pick a fight with gbol and tell him he is speaking shit. He really got on a roll and gave us pearls of wisdom when people got stuck into him over there haha!

Ya seems like he likes a good trolling or conflict to get fired up and start writing ;)

I got him fired up a few times without meaning to so maybe I'll just start asking him some more questions.

lol hmmm...

well if conflict is what drives him perhaps we can start a fight with the ray peat forum again. Maybe this would get him more involved.

I'm sure he's just busy. I don't think he's going anywhere. lol

Guys, I am here. Just super busy. I posted some stuff on Ihatefin log. check it out.

Also dont forget Ru and ella are experimental, we dont know how they act exactly. I am planning to test them soon.

Also I read a lot about depo provera again. And it it looks like it also affects MR receptor. So that could be the culpit also.

May be that is why RU with progesterone worked for ihatefin taken together.

I pretty much outlined the 2 cases, receptors upregulated and downregulated.

So we need to see the final results of the RU trials.

Snell you keep asking me about pine pollen over and over again. I never took it . I don't know about it. Snap back should take little time like 2 weeks.

Maybe a noob question, but is a downregulated receptor always reflected in high prog blood values (and prog insensitivity)?

actually no. progesterone goes up and down based on your potassium level. So to see if your progesterone receptor upregulated or downregulated we need to see potassium level vs progesterone level.

Also dont forget tons of people after their crash from finasteride start taking zinc. This sometimes skyrockets their potassium in hair and makes a confusion

There are 2 cases here , some people benefit from serotonin increasing drugs, and feel ok on them. I remember I could not tolerate anything that increased serotonin. Inositol caused major depression, and anxiety, 5 htp caused crazy trips , same as with tryptophan.

Same with POIS people. some people do great on active b6 and SSRI for it. And some people get really really bad on those increasing their symptoms.

Can you also outline what to look out for in terms of high potassium versus low potassium, like symptoms wise?

Would low potassium increase adrenaline and cortisol for example? Because if RU tanks potassium that could make sense why cortisol and adrenaline could be high.

I got high potassium in the cell and low end of range progesterone, so my progesterone sensitivity is way up???

If your potassium really high then yes.

in this case body will be losing zinc in urine. and 3 beta hsd downregulated and hence low testosterone

You see progesterone is regulatory , if you are doing something or taking something that effects potassium then your progegesterone can go back and forth. But if you took nothing for a while and you have high potassium in the cell and low progesterone, then yes you have problems with progesterone sensitivity and this castrates you . and also causes you to crash after ejaculation. since high potassium in the cell needs high cortisol, but your 3 beta hsd is low since progesterone is too sensitive , so there is not enough actual progesterone there to be converted into cortisol. And you crash from orgasms, I am not sure it is your case with the crash from orgasms. But I have seen this body chemistry many times.

You can try to make progesterone less sensitive, This will retain zinc and allow you to handle Co2 better

RU blocks cortisol, thus raises adrenaline and cortisol

Yes man i crash with orgasms all the time, i was close to recoveries but i crashed with ejaculations, its insanse.

And you are right i have low testosterone too!
Potassium is 1.5 times higher than the upper limir range.

Can methylation protocol cure this oversensitive progesterone?? Thorne extra nutrients?
I dont want to jump on drugs/hormonesyet just if all "natural" fails.
My unnatural options is cycling progesterone or doing the clomid dostinex protocol?

Does long fasting work for this? Also very high dose Prog for several days? Or is it the opposite.

Imo both long fasting and high dose progesterone can correct too sensitive progesterone receptors, i just want to have his confirmation and hear about if thorne extra nutrients could cure this?!

Very high progesterone dosage while fasting for 3-4 days, will work for this. Since you dont want more potassium in side of the cell. So you have to take progesterone while not eating.

Fasting is more for cortisol sensitivity
