@Boris
You make a good point as pubic hair apart from soap is not exposed to much. That was my reasoning as well to send pubic and since you and hairsuit and snowball had sent pubic.
I use shampoo and conditioner made by Biolage from Walmart.

After all this discussion I am now wondering what to do, stick with pubic or go with scalp recommendations or go with both copper and Potassium. I will also wait to see what Catherine says.

Did she end up getting back to you?

Sorry if this is a majorly basic question - if running TEI supps, can tehy be run concurrently with Cdnuts' protocol supplements (and even R-Andro?)

I'm guessing maybe not, but can anyone confirm?

TEI gives you a program specifically tuned for you. Adding anything to it would most likely throw it off and is not recommended.

Some of you here were wondering about the difference between using head hair and pubic hair. I just got the results for my third hair test. This one is pubic hair, the first two were head hair. I don't have any input myself, just wanted to show it to you guys in case it was helpful. It's in my thread, check it out.

For those on TEI/ARL, I think it's useful to measure hormones in blood every once and a while. I'm curious whether those programs will balance hormones as well. Haven't seen it, so far.

Plenty of people who get higher testosterone on bloodwork from things like ZMA, zinc, taurine, magnesium. I cannot imagine minerals not having any influence on your hormone levels.

Example:

Zinc increases LH: Impact of oral zinc therapy on the level of sex hormones in male patients on hemodialysis. - PubMed - NCBI

Manganese increases LH: Effect of manganese on luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone secretion in adult male rats. - PubMed - NCBI

Except in PFS it could be different. If your body is really fucked up then this could take longer. For example first they might fix something else before your hormones come up.

I think it's different for PFS, you're right. My blood levels were unchanged after two full cycles. Will be checking again in a few weeks. I won't be discouraged if it hasn't, but I'm just curious why we need replenish our body for so long before hormones start to change, if they do at all.

How is possible that tel or arl, they can supply the big deficience for example in sole people that have really low b1 and b2 and only can restore with 1 gr of each? Is just a curious question

Just revisited the supplements of both ARL and TEI again. There are so many differences, but I think ARL put much more ingredients in their supps. They hand out copper and zinc more easily, for instance, and seem to have much more supplements in the first place.I like their combinations much more as well, such as Limcomin (magnesium, zinc, copper, manganese and vitamins). TEI doesn't have this combination in either product.

ARL is second fiddle to TEI over here, because it includes plenty of calcium, which could delay progression a bit if you are a slow oxidizer. Other than that, I think it's just as decent as TEI. A lot of people are on ARL over here but are being spooked with the bad rep it's getting during all these discussions, which I think is wrong.

I think it is hard to answer, I have no experience with ARL and went with TEI because the census around here was that TEI was being faster to fix us. I don't necessarily believe that more ingredients means better chance at recovery, less could be more. TEI's research is more up to date and that might be the reason for fewer ingredients, maybe their formula's are more effecient than ARL. In the end it is al speculating and I'm sticking with TEI for at least 3-4 cycles. The hardest part is not doing anything inbetween the hair tests that could fuck up the results.

I just got the TEI kit. Because depression and low self control I smoke weed, took viagra, and drank alcohol in the last few weeks- how long should I be clean before sending the sample? I know this sounds irresponsable and it is, I have been on a bad placer mentally for some time. Thanks.

- Maybe 14-28 days? Maybe longer... Maybe no answer exists. Maybe there is an answer but it's complicated.
-I have limited patience and feel that I need to rush so life doesn't leave me behind, hence I try 14 d but really will force 30d. I did wait 2 weeks pre the next thing I did but will wait longer after quitting it to sample (*scalp only*) hair.

Usually a month is on the very safe side but if it's been a few weeks and you have not taken anything I think you are fine to take the sample now, but use scalp hair as your sample.

I ran tei and arl hair test at the same time.. I've been on arl for 3 cycles now.. the arl hair test was much more inline with the direction I was heading from previous test and the aluminum dump I'm going through now. If I would have switched to tei like i was contemplating it would have slowed progress down. Tei wasn't picking up the 3 Amigos pattern. I'm dumping mag, iron , aluminum at huge levels

I have done 3 ARL cycles myself as well before I switched to TEI. Had some nice plusses, but it didn't seem to stick.

What are the symptom improvements you have noticed?

Did you upload your hairtest anywhere ?
If so, would it be possible fro you to put it in your signature ? :)
Its nice to have something to look at when people are talking about something
