Just been looking into how pine pollen powder compares to whey protein for amino acids, and per gram whey protein does provide a fair bit more, although pine pollen is still an excellent source, and also contains many vitamins and minerals in natural forms. I'm thinking of starting on this again, but obviously taking alongside betaine HCL to ensure it gets absorbed properly.
This link provides some excellent information on all the amino acids and other nutrients in pine pollen, and the functions of all the essential amino's - worth checking out! This sums up the importance of amino acids (to be honest I've always overlooked AA's until reading this forum!)
This is really interesting;
Nutritional Analysis of Pine Pollen | RAW Forest Foods
I had some hesitation about which form of amino to take as well. Ultimately went with pine pollen in the morning, whey protein in the afternoon and histidine, cysteine, glycine, glutamine and lycine before bed. Have an EAA supplement as well. Haven’t used it yet.
Not taking any mamal dosis or anything. The whey and pine pollen especially carry only small doses of amino’s.
Why did you stop this protocol initially?
Besides NADH, is NADPH recommended as well ? I think it would be usefull in helping our thyroid and gluthathione, just ordered it in capsules from there: NADPH Factors pack of 60 capsules
Is one capsule a day enough ?
Just to clirify once and forever, cause in the protocol it is writte "zinc finger" diet..I skypped that piece and I should go back to search around 60 pages.
I still don't understand if the diet has to be low in carbo/normal or not.
Could someone detail it please?
Also because @gbolduev said to use whey protein and the one I bought has 75gr of carbo per serving.
So please tell me if keep staying in a low carbo diet is the right way.

@TubZy I think I am the little pest of the forum you have to take care of and get sure I am doing the right thing even if I am telling I amdoing it..LOL))
ok.You can still use it lol....only difference is it has carbs compared to whey protein only
ok.
but would like to know if in our situation is better to stay on low carbo diet or it is fine to get carbo.
I ask this cause I Always keep in mind some guys recovered by having a low carbo diet as CHI did.
Perfect, here we ride!Carbs are okay just don't go overboard and cut out gluten. So potatoes and rice like mentioned above is what I take as well.
Perfect, here we ride!
thanks man
How important is it to drink alot of water on this protocol, I very rarely get thirsty and can easily go a day without getting thirsty, should I force myself to drink water while doing all of this?
