Is inositol strong enough to control prolactin? You said it is very important to control prolactin the whole protocol depends on it. So what do you recommend Jack?

I didn't follow that part of the regimen in a strict fashion. Definitely when I was taking RU/ Ella I used Caber 1/2 tab every day vs every other day but thats for like 3 days and then the half life is 4-6 days( need to cover yourself until Rx out of your system) and then when on progesterone( because I don't think it's as potent in raising prolactin) I would take L-dopa daily and 1/2 selegiline daily or every other day. Sometimes I would forget to take Selegiline. I would take Inositol about twice daily. For me, anytime I thought there was a significant drop off in libido or if I started to get a headache ( I have a history of migraines so it could be a migraine and unrelated but I don't think so because if I took a Caber or a more aggressive regimen like 3 inositol and selegiline AND L-dopa my headache would go away pretty quickly.

I don't think inositol did much for me in curbing prolactin @RuProgStack82 lol love your name. I liked mucuna pruriens. Stuff was strong.

Is it helping your fatigue at all?

It helped a ton originally with fatigue for the first 2 weeks. But a lot of factors at play now as that subsided. I believe microsilica and sodium theosulphate caused quite a bunch of toxins released into my system this past weekend leaving me with more fatigue.

Ok thanks. I ordered some h2 water, not sure it’s any good. But I don’t want to commit to a machine until I can test it out first. I am taking a product that has silica extract and I am exhausted! Didn’t connect that until you mentioned this!

Update: I am losing track how long ago I stopped everything. Happy to say I think I continue to improve but will not consider saying recovery until 100% normal or that this sticks for a couple months. This morning awoke with very strong morning wood, the painful kind that doesn't go away for a while. Before that would be like an uncomfortable, consciously try to make it go away. Now, it's like shit, finally this is happening again!

Regarding progesterone levels, I think I probably had low progesterone because progesterone actually made me feel better and sometimes a lot better, sometimes couldn't tell if I was taking it. A lot of ppl thought it helped with mental clarity and I agree. I think this pathway will increase Allopregnalone and at this point I think that is the key neurohormone (IMO) that is depressed/decreased, and by adding progesterone you are pushing the pathway to normalize levels. Sometimes it works and for some reason something happens and it reverts back to the abnormal balance. May be that is rising prolactin or something else NOS. When it works and you do better there is some sort of positive feed back that can occur to maintain the normal balance. It's quite complicated. To be honest, I am not sure there is actually two different types as that has been proposed previously (this is only my opinion and I realize I could totally be off base. I only raise this possibility because we need to have an open mind and consider all possibilites if we are going to define a beneficial regimen.) I think it is more likely that there is some sort of continuum for the severity of symptoms. Maybe if your symptoms are not as bad you recover naturally or you need only a little help. But I don't think that if your symptoms are bad that you wont' recover. What I mean is that I considered my symptoms to be fairly bad. I remember reading aztec's posts when he started getting better and I naturally thought, well his symptoms must not be that bad to recover with only 1 Ella. But I started to get better after 2 Ella. It's something else. There must be a trigger that get stimulated to be normal or to normalize. I am no expert but just trying to continue the conversation about how we can help each other get better.

Progesterone is not sensitive, that is why it does not covert into allo. Conversion takes place with NADPH.

they are 2 types, since some people have high DHT and some low. So some have high NADPH and some have low.

Progesterone converts to Allo using NADPH. NADPH is what 5 alpha reductase works on also.

Many people have high progesterone in blood and no conversion into allo since progesterone is not sensitive. Taking progesterone will make you feel better. Since the extra progesterone can converts into allo then. But if you quit progesterone , it just fades since you did not do anything about sensitivity you actually made it less sensitive.

Ella makes progesterone sensitive . So when you take progesterone later, it easily converts into ALLO. If you just take progesterone , you also get this conversion and most people feel good on it, but when you quit progesterone, it just all goes away, since progesterone is not sensitive and your natural production will fall down again and the conversion to allo will stop. This is why many people tried progesterone and it just all comes back to square one after you quit it. And actually many got worse if you read the propecia forum. Some people got better, but I am not sure how they did it, since no one was able to replicate them .

I know 2 guys taking progesterone for 1 year, and then they quit it, and got POIS. PFS. Since they made their progesterone not sensitive. And then when they renewed taking progesterone POIS was gone. So now they were stuck on taking progesterone. But instead they took ella, and POIS was gone completely without taking progesterone ever again.

This is why I suggested to take RU and later little progesterone to speed up to the conversion to allo. OR ella and b vitamins to produce NADPH and speed up the conversion to allo.( this is what Rwac did)

And the second case of course when progesterone is too much , and you want to kill its production. And in this case taking cortisol or progesterone can actually kill the axis. This is why some people recovered with dexamethasone.

This is why I outlined all of this here. https://hackstasis.com/threads/really-dirty-trials.135/#post-2402
@Helen so is the idea to have all of the ingredients on hand, and then guess which case you are? Or is there a way of knowing which case you will respond to before hand? Didn’t see that in the thread. Thanks.

He is doing this in cycles though, so i would expect this is aimed at increasing overall sensitivity, rather than just increasing progesterone levels. Ella could indeed help with this potentially.

exactly cycles. you were not supposed to take this constantly. it was always cycles. It was always about increasing or decreasing sensitivity nothing to do with progesterone levels.

So many things that seem to be affected though, progesterone, serotonine, MAO, dopamine, all giving people benefits! Cant really cycle them all together, but it's so interesting to see that cycling all of above have been tried succesfully. Should we see this as a chain reaction or is the cause different in all of us?

Caber arrives tommorrow How much should I take? Everyday 0,5 mg ?

so messing with prolactin is save? I read some horror stories about it in some PFS Forums. So I´m a bit worried to take caber.

Last two days using licorice extract. Skin, body odour, digestion, nipples, hair seems to be returning to pre-fin. Did one round of ella+progesterone gel before starting licorice extract.
Fingers crossed.

Sounds really encouraging. How much liquorice root are you taking?
