Dont understand why people are not using PFS protocol posted in electrolytes thread.

Fin kills NADPH. NADPH is needed for glutathione and to recycle vitamin C and E. Since vitamin C and E stay not recycled, they become free radicals.

Also oxidized LDL causes the upregulation of the arginase. And you run very low on arginine which causes the dehydration, and also causes glucose 6 phosphase not to work meaning you cant use your glycogen stores.

if glycogen stores cant be excessed this causes too much pentose in the liver. And causes high cortisol which does not let you retain potassium.

This is why progesterone stays high.

you can use b vitamins along with vitamin E and C. electrolytes , and bile acids. you should restore.

Also dont forget copper zinc balance. Look up Scenes recovery. He first took copper histidine with electrolytes and then took b vitamins plus C and

You can also try to take zinc with b1 high dose, plus all other bs low dose.

Some people just cycle progesterone, which just retains potassium and the minute you quit it , the potassium just loses itself again. Since cortisol will stay up until you fix glucose 6 phosphatase.

vitamin E can lower estrogen in low estrogen people. So I guess that can effect the libido. I guess this protocol more for higher estrogen people

Been testing with essential free-form aminos this week, and starting to realize that all my issues are bound to not being able to utilize these proteins. Taking meat, whey, egg whites, doesn't seem to work at getting these essential aminos assimilated.

Will report how things go, but taking larger amounts of free-form histidine, arginine, lysine, tyrosine, cysteine, seem to be doing good things. Will add in some serine, glycine soon.

I am doing all the electrolyte steps, just wasn't focusing on taking free-form aminos and will also increase the HCl for now. Still using bile acids along with TUDCA.

Is arginine ok in place of citruline??

Thanks, this is a very clear post finally.

I completed a 21 day long water fast and I feel very dehydrated on day 4 of refeeding and mineral water tastes salty.
I ordered the emergenC, and will be on cyclic keto diet with low amounts of carb backloading so this should work.

My hair test is high potassium low sodium, clearly wasting all the potassium.

Actually I felt the best the first 3 days of my waterfast, voice was deeper, confidence was increased and mood as well. Then throughout it I became very calm and since the refeeding Im very anxious. But I think this will sort itself out in 5-6 days.

Basically this is the decreased vitality, low energy, low motivation and cancer is more common in this pattern. My ratio is very low, under 0.5.

I thought you were on ARL

I ordered the supplements and it took 2 months to get into my country. By the time it arrived my fast was scheduled and I was in the middle of it. Now I will do 2 more hair tests, 1 to see how my body chemistry was during the fasting and then cut my hair to zero and wait 1 month to grow it out and send the new hair and get the recommended program based on this.

21 days is amazing, well done on achieving that. Did you do it at home or at a clinic? Did you use electrolytes or at least salt your water during the fast?

I did it at home, the price is ridiculous for water fasting and they probably wont even let you use electrolytes and make you drink distilled water.
I used mineral water, occasional eidon ionic minerals and electrolytes, some himalayan salt and some potassium chloride.
Salt made me feel like absolute disaster, potassium was more helpful, but this will depend on your body chemistry. Most people I see feel good on salt while fasting.

Need to add pre pfs I was a 100% fast oxidizer, during pfs im a fake fast oxidizer.

Is this the protocol?
>>>
PFS protocol

Finasteride. binds NADPH. NADPH recycles glutathione. lack of glutathione causes complete close of sugar metabolism. Since glutathione is needed to get rid of hydrogen peroxide and glutathione is needed in glutathione transferase to get rid of toxins and drugs, including finasteride. So finasteride stops its own metabolism and I would assume can even build up.

So you need to increase glutathione transferase and also increase NADPH . glutathione transferase has histidine in it. Also it asks tyrosine to activate the glutathione. ,You can take citrulline with b vitamins, vitamin C and E, eat good fats( butter) and take bile acids. and shilagit , also cysteine selenium histidine. Also you can take SOD components, zinc copper manganese. this will metabolize finasteride out of your body.

Finasteride impairs bile flow, and impairs 5 beta reductase.
5 beta reductase makes your bile acids, without bile acids you will have a build up of cholesterol and malabsorption of fats. and mainly phospholipids and you will have bilirubin stones in your gallbladder which completely blocks all your bile flow.

this will cause deficiency of lipids needed for the brain , sex, fat soluble vitamins etc and you will have very thick blood since cholesterol wont be used and wont be disposed off.

This is why I said to do liver flushes all the time. Also you can take bile acids. chenodeoxycholic acid plus cholic acid. 5 beta reductase makes those . These 2 acids will dilute all your stones and let you absorb all the needed lipids from the diet. After years of fin your gallbladder had zero bile acids, means it is solid green mass with very little bile.

Also you need to eat good fats, plus vitamin Bs, since b vitamins make NADPH and NADP those are needed for 5 alpha and 5 beta reductases. Also you can add vitamin C , since cholesterol is converted down the line into 5 beta reductases by vitamin C and NADPH which fin impairs.

https://www.amazon.com/Allergy-Rese...70118&sr=8-2&keywords=nt+factor+energy+lipids

And vitamin B vitamins plus vitamin C and vitamine E
Bs ratios. 600 mg of thiamin HCL, 500 mg of B5, 100-200 mg of b6 and 250-500 mg of niacinamide, along with 3-10 mg folate and some B12 to balance out 100 mg of riboflavin.

Plus flush the liver over and over again. This is the problem in PFS

Delta 4-3-oxosteroid 5 beta-reductase deficiency: failure of ursodeoxycholic acid treatment and response to chenodeoxycholic acid plus cholic acid.

@Go_faster_Sonic this is a protocol . But unforuntately we have more than one case of PFS and some people can feel really bad on estrogen and prolactin lowering things.

Thank you for the answer.
I think that, for example In my case, it's even hard to understand the protocol because looks more like chemist's shopping list than a protocol. You mention things to take without saying when to start, what to do first, dosages, for how long... And i'm just scared by fin to attempt taking all these things in a confuse way, without precise indications. Maybe this is the explaination or at least this is why i WANT TO FOLLOW IT but i can't understand it, nor i want to risk.

1 - For example, what about the previous part? Should i also do that?
2 - do i have to follow the diet too?
3 - about this part "You can take citrulline with b vitamins, vitamin C and E, eat good fats( butter) and take bile acids. and shilagit , also cysteine selenium histidine. Also you can take SOD components, zinc copper manganese. this will metabolize finasteride out of your body" Which dosages? How much? In which part of the day? After or premeal?
4 - "This is why I said to do liver flushes all the time. Also you can take bile acids. chenodeoxycholic acid plus cholic acid." When and for how long should we liver flush? Can i liver flush if i'm on medications (antidepressants)? Same for chenodeoxycholic acid plus cholic acid. How much? Dosages? How long for?
5 - "Also you need to eat good fats, plus vitamin Bs," "Also you can add vitamin C" same questions.
6 - "And vitamin B vitamins plus vitamin C and vitamine E
Bs ratios. 600 mg of thiamin HCL, 500 mg of B5, 100-200 mg of b6 and 250-500 mg of niacinamide, along with 3-10 mg folate and some B12 to balance out 100 mg of riboflavin."
again? does it mean that i should add more B and more C? What about E? Dosages, when in the day ecc
7 - the hair test: do i have to do it anyway? before starting this regimen? then, will the lab told me what to take, for how long, when in the day ecc? Do i have to add it to the regimen?
8 - what about all the raw food, fasting, juice feast stuff? so, that thing is not going to work? how to decide which protocol use between this one and, for example, the CDnuts protocol?

So, i think that people (like me) don't start the protocol because we are already scared and confused, then some friend tell us to jump on this page where we found a big list, acronymes like cu-ghk, ido ecc, repeated stuff (vit. e, and vit. e, and vit. e). But trust me, i'd like to uinderstand and doing it. Yesterday i printed the protocol, i gave it to my doctors and he did not understand.

I'd be happy to you would clear up :)

Sonic is right re the questions. There is less sense just throwing a list in a thread. We shouldnt waste our time with checking a possible threads and posts. Thats why I wanted to summarize the protocols.
For a newcomer it is f... impossible to get started. But for now, nobody is helping me doing a step by step protocol. I will stop. It is enough.

This is because I work with people privately and this forum is not supposed to have newcomers for now. It is closed to the public really.

This is why we wanted to test stuff on people who are already here, and when we see the good cure rate on some protocol and we understand it better. The forum becomes public , but by then we will have all the protocols defined and tested. Other than that all these protocols I posted just for the info. they are not real protocols and they get adjusted all the time.

@Helen did you just answer your own question?

"Dont understand why people are not using PFS protocol posted in electrolytes thread."

"they are not real protocols and they get adjusted all the time."

I think if newcomers are here and want to experiment, we should encourage them. It is more data for everyone. I understand the theories change often, but there's got to be a way we can have some "master list" of the current state-of-the-art protocols, so people can very easily start experimenting with the most current ideas. If we make people dig through dozens of forum threads and research just to get started experimenting, we will have far less data to analyze.

If anyone wants to help with a protocol "quick start" guide, I'm thinking of starting a Google doc we can edit with the most current protocol summaries.

You need to undertstand that most of this experimenting is worthless, since we have more than 1 case of imbalances here. This is why I am struggling.

This is why we are trying to test people with bloods or hair. and then see what cures them , so then we can define protocols for all cases.

Other than that, you can just go and look at successful cases like Scenes, or Rwac, or raincoast. etc. Jack17, etc. and try to follow those guys what they did.

@Helen I have asked this many times without your response but oh well, is there anything you can suggest for PAS?
