whats weird is I feel completely fine again now. I took 11.6g in 5 hours all before noon and now its 5:53pm and im unscaved. odd but im okay with it
That’s what would happen to me. I’d get the sensations and then they go. Now that you have reached that point, from my experience, it won’t take much potassium next time to cause it again.

Did you stop at that point and wait for your snap back, or did you keep taking it? Sorry if I’m forgetting if you already said on another thread, but you took potassium for week total?

I probably kept it going for too long to the point where it got dangerous at the end.

Then I quit cold turkey.

I wasn’t even taking as much as you guys. Again k think that’s a positive for you guys that you could take that much.

I started getting improvements a few weeks off.

And I took it for longer than a week but it was one week of high dosages. High for me. Not high for you guys haha

5ar issue. It is not only about the receptors. 5ar is involved in enzymes in the CNS, as well. See this link: 2cases of pfs...
Post-Finasteride Syndrome: About 2 Cases and Review of the Literature [THERAPEUTIC APPROACHES]

A guy in Italy (case 1) recovered on hcg / aroma inhi. Best

what does HCG and AI have to do with 5 AR)) this is like taking DHT, to downregulate the receptors) you use AI and increase Test, so you get only DHT in. and this downregulates the receptors. since the DHT coming from testosterone is as strong as the regular DHT you can slowly downregulate the receptors. O

You can also use just AI, this will also downregulate the receptors which we saw on propeciahelp success with letro

I love how people use something and then explain it wrong . You use HCG , this increases testosterone. but testosterone would have turned into estrogen and this would have upregulated the receptors of AR , or at least do nothing for them. But here you block AI and now, you increase testosterone, but dont let it convert into estrogen,

SO you get pure increase of DHT from it. and since DHT which comes from testosterone = your own DHT strength , you downregulate the receptors. of AR

This is what Joe does also, he takes tiny dosage of testosterone so it does not convert much into estrogen, and he gets DHT out of it. and this downregulates the receptors.

This is for the case of upregulated receptors.

If you take some DHT which is weaker than your own, like proviron or masterone, you upregulate the AR.

I hope someone who has up regulated receptors tries the anavar sounds interesting

I will try it if I’m not where I want to be after mineral balancing, ozone, sulfaphorane, which are things I’ll do next.

I should have unregulated receptors, based on several @Helen theories...
-super hairy (body hair) which only got worse after pfs or maybe just always trending worse
-high progesterone (probably estrogen not working)
-did one cycle of ARL which was high in zinc and mang. Definitely felt a snap back after being off (not even close to cured, just a little better baseline)
-I get sick much less often and like once in last 2 years (upregulated cortisol signaling = suppressed immune system)

I have some anavar on the way, was there a general consensus on the dose in mg and length of cycle for people with pfs.

The one guy who cured himself used 20mg for 2 weeks no PCT I believe

Would you reckon someone whos had pfs for about 7 years be ok with this dose or would a higher dose and or length of time be needed.

I would start with the same dose for sure. I personally like to play it safe and conservative.. if you don't feel much then we can look at high dose or longer run.

Are testoserone, estrogen, dht, progesterone, and prolactin the best indicators of upregulated or downregulated androgen receptors? Because I have been low t, low dht low e, high prog, which should indicate upregulated receptors. I took 1 10mg dose of Anavar awhile back, thinking it to be a fairly safe test, and I felt pretty good for 2hrs and then became low mood, low energy, shrunken junk and prostate for nearly two weeks. This reaction would seem to indicate downregulated receptors. Going to have bloods done soon, but which indicators of androgen sensitivity should we be paying closest attention to?

How did you feel after the two weeks of that? Any improvement or did you remain the same or worse?

Then anavar does not do what we want it to do. This is what I told @HS May be we need to find something with the higher androgenic ratio to anabolic then.
Testosterone could do it ,since at least it is even to DHT when converted.

We do know in one case anvar works. but you are right we need to define cases. This is why it is important for people to have tests when they try things, and not just keep taking stuff and then oh I m cured, but now people who try to repeat the protocol can even hurt themselfes.

It would be interesting which case anavar helps. It has huge anabolic action and very little androgenic.

May be for some case we need the opposite . People can use testosterone to get the same strength DHT as in the body.

IT is crucial to know which case you are and which treatment works for which case, since if you get the wrong side , it will be like taking FIN again.

We dont know how anavar acts exactly, if Niles had that reaction , then it might be no good for upregulated receptor cases. And probably need something with more androgenic ratio than anabolic then. Or simple test.

Because I dont know what ratio androgenic anabolic effects the AR in which way, this is guessing at this point.

It is good that you posted that, we dont know how anavar acts exactly. I was talking to Tubzy about it. and I told him that a lot of things have that anabolic action , but very few have higher androgenic action.

I know in case of low T and low DHT, testosterone works. Which provide the same androgenic strength DHT.

May be it is androgenic action we need to downregulate the receptors not anabolic as I previously thought. And in this case anavar could be for another case all together

I think knowing this , we do need to be careful and if people try it, they need to try just a little dose and see the snap back.

Since the goal is to feel bad while on it, and good on the snap back.

@HS you felt bad on anavar and then you were hypersexual when you came off. You see Niles experienced the opposite.. And we do see now according to your blood tests that you have higher prolactin, and higher estradiol . SO may be anavar is for those cases . and not for the low DHT cases.

I wonder if we could find something more androgenic than anabolic for low DHT cases. besides testosterone.

So androsterone or the like. I have been using haiduts 5 keto dht as I have upregulated receptors and it has fully restored my libido and ed after it has waned the last few weeks.

These have been shown to be more androgenic than anabolic.
