He was good. I think him seeing me like this, he has to look a bit further into it because my condition is very bad and all the standard checks so far show normal readings. I'm not holding out for a solution to everything from the nhs but hopefully they can get me to a stomach doctor at least...

    Concerned PFS Log

Hey Chapman, thanks for the words of support. Out of interest, have you ever done a fast yourself and if so, for how long? I'm two and a half hours away from making it four days only water. So far, it has been surprisingly manageable. I don't think I've had many water fast related symptoms...

HELP from old members to new members

Oh absolutely, I don't want to be using TRT and doctor meds until I've tried what I can from the protocols. TRT would be a last resort. Coming up on 72 hours on my water fast and not tempted to break it yet so I'm happy that I've had the strength to do that so far.

HELP from old members to new members

I can probably see an endo and urologist (just to see their opinions if nothing else) on our socialised health care here in the UK. I mention doctor because I see from Chi's recovery post that he saw someone named Gillian Hamer in London.

Would definitely be interesting. With regards money, I have a moderate amount of savings, but if this thing turns out to be a long battle, I think I have to try and ration as best I can at the moment. I'm already anticipating having to pay for private gut doctors, supplements, medication etc...

HELP from old members to new members

Ok, thanks HerrFisch. This is a strange situation then as I become very, very ill less than two weeks ago (pfs crash). I wonder if my mineral readings would be fine from two months ago but not now? I think almost everyone here who's done the hair test has been at least several months into their...

HELP from old members to new members

Hi guys. I'm emailing a company for the ARL hair test. However, I'm almost three days into my first ever water fast and intend to go as long as I can go (hopefully seven days at least). Can I do the ARL test while in a fasted state or should I wait until afterwards? It's a mildly expensive test...

    Concerned PFS Log

65 hours into fast now. Slept around 7 hours with a few periods of waking in between (something I never used to do). Had a sexual dream and woke up with quite a strong erection. Rubbed it just to see what it feels like. Almost instantly went down. Could feel that the sensitivity had gone and the...

No, nothing like that. More like I couldn't cope with the way my brain was feeling, that to be awake was too mentally painful. I was tossing my head side to side on the couch and moaning like grunting noises. Then I passed out. Yes, last night I slept much better, between 7 and 8 hours I...

Almost at 48 hours on the water fast now. Feeling incredibly weak and a bit spaced out. Developed a bruising like pain in my right shoulder. One positive is that I haven't had that manic like state yesterday or today. Can barely get up to go to the toilet. This finasteride crash has definitely...

Concerned's Blood Test Results Comparison (Before and After PFS)

Every post I see with this sentiment gives me hope. And I really need that hope. When you say comprehensive testing, what do you mean by that?

Concerned's Blood Test Results Comparison (Before and After PFS)

That's definitely it. I have numerous hormone tests over the last few years and they're all mid to late teens of total test nmol/L. Six days after the crash it's plummeted to 11.3? Crazy. I see that TRT isn't recommended for treating pfs. Am I to assume that by following the protocols, that...

    Concerned PFS Log

Thanks man. I'm basically bedridden anyway so now's as good a time as any to do this fast. It really helps to hear how you made such an improvement from fasting. Improvement is what is powering me through so far. Thankfully my mental symptoms have improved a bit today. Hunger pangs are already...

    Concerned PFS Log

Are there any do's and don'ts I should be aware of while going through this water fast? I'm drinking only tap water. Is that passable or should it really be filtered or bottled? Do I need to do anything like adding salt to my water? I saw Nina used 1/2 tea spoon in the morning during her water...

Concerned's Blood Test Results Comparison (Before and After PFS)

I have to be honest, after googling RU I'm a little scared of it. Because this is all so new to me, the thought of putting a female birth control pill (think it was that or ella) in me is frightening. I'm scared of any pill right now after having this happen from four quarter doses of...
