Concerned's ARL Hair Test Results (PFS)

That’s good to hear with the copper and zinc! Yes the calcium is the highest reading there. For vit d, I’m within range according to my latest blood test. I’ve been spending many days in the sunshine since then too so hopefully that’s ok.

Concerned's ARL Hair Test Results (PFS)

Hi guys, got my hair test back (used Catherine as recommended on this forum). Looking for any input from you fine folks. A few things to note - The hair sample was taken late April and the test is a snapshot of the last three months according to ARL. I crashed after stopping finasteride in...

No offense taken lol, I understand why some might find that type of questioning tiresome, hence the apologies disclaimer. I appreciate your input.

HELP from old members to new members

Thanks man. I just wanted to know what I should be cautious about lest I inadvertently did something I shouldn’t have. Another question with regards to pfs while people are about. Has anyone here had a pressure/swelling feeling in the back of their head (some might say this is brain fog) and if...

HELP from old members to new members

Huge thank you for that post @MNK99, very useful. That’s interesting about stinging nettle and fenugreek. I had been supplementing them for about a month (plus magnesium glycinate and 5 to 10 thousand iu of liquid vitamin d per day). I wonder if that played any part in the severity of my crash?

HELP from old members to new members

@mattyb @TubZy @bruschi11 @wuf @Niles @gbolduev and anyone else who can offer input I've a question that hopefully can collate in its responses all of the various tidbits I've seen scattered around this and other forums but cannot recall. What are the foods, supplements and drugs that we...

Time to check in It's been a couple months since crashing and I've made great strides in many areas in that time. I'll list how I'm doing in each area: Sleep Big improvements here. In the last few weeks I've had fairly solid sleep. I'm not sleeping a solid 8 hours like I could pre-crash but...

Thanks for the reply matty. I’m not at the moment. I wanted to do the hair test without any supplementation of any kind beforehand so as to get as clear a picture as possible as to what needs rebalancing. I don’t know if that’s a wise approach but that’s why I haven’t. Yesterday and today much...

Update Today has been pretty abhorrent. It's been a mixed week, some good and bad so I'll give an outline here. A week ago today I was at a point where I thought I was almost cured in many respects. Brain fog hadn't bothered me since the beginning of the re-feed and sexually I was in some...

    Hairsuit's PFS journey----

Yes, this has been my experience over the last week or so. Wake up relatively clear minded then strong brain fog between 11-12. How has your fast gone?

    Electrolyte Protocol for Improved Health

Might be a silly question but how are we defining "Over masturbation" here? Once a day? Three times a day? Twice a week? I ask because my erections and libido have returned recently and I don't know if I should follow the "use it or lose it" path or should masturbate sparingly whilst my body is...

Cross posting from my blood test results thread I know blood tests aren't valued much in terms of their usefulness in dealing with pfs but I do think they prove interesting in telling us more about what this drug does to the endocrine balance. I had another blood test last week. I'll post last...

Concerned's Blood Test Results Comparison (Before and After PFS)

I know blood tests aren't valued much in terms of their usefulness in dealing with pfs but I do think they prove interesting in telling us more about what this drug does to the endocrine balance. I had another blood test last week. I'll post last December's first (pre-crash) then last week's...

Don't know what's happened today but I'm experiencing symptoms I'd thought and hoped I'd put behind me. First time since the beginning of the re-feed that I've felt scared. Since my post on Thursday, I'd been improving daily. Brain whirring reducing in frequency again. Sexual function...

I haven't had the ARL test done yet. When I contacted a provider and explained my situation they said it'd probably be best to wait some time until after the crash to do the testing, otherwise it would show a mostly pre-crash reading (I think ARL is last three months). I'm very lucky in that...

Time for an update. The progress over last few days has been pretty phenomenal. My sleep has improved a great deal. I've had several nights of solid slumber and if I have awoken in the middle of the night, it's mostly because I was silly and ate a big bowl of broth shortly before bed and then I...

Thanks Alflac! Quite a bad day again today. Strong brain fog and a bit of vertigo so spent a lot of it on the couch. Mentally, I'm just having to accept that this will be how it is for a while, good days and not so good days. Really hoping the neurological sides will be resolved sooner rather...
