I think one thing we fail to recognize is pathogens when it comes to hair testing. You don’t know if you have a population changing things in terms of nutritional balance in your body.

I can tell you with absolute certainty that hydrogen water allowed pathogens to invade me. Mycoplasma, Lyme came back raging.

That said, I understand that your pfs isn’t much of a cfs @Admiral , but read Ihatepropecia702 story. He didn’t have much of cfs at all, but still he went crazy on gut and pathogens for a full year and that’s what cured him.

Maybe a week long colloidal silver run or mms. I don’t know- we don’t want to mess with hair analysis much, but I just believe some bodies can’t get into balance with a pathogen load in the way.

You did say you could only shit every 2 days before tei/ARL. Something was causing this and pathogens could’ve been at play.

To add to this, some pathogens aren’t going to cause crazy Lyme-like cfs type symptoms. They’re just there helping enable imbalances. Ask @Ocguy - if you mess around with ozone, hydrogen then some sort of pathogological colony can just burst ahead in body.

Let’s be realistic here. 95% of pfs recoveries prior to hackstasis were from fixing gut. I think our community here is a bit over obsessed with mineral balancing. As important as it is, there is more to health than mineral balancing.
good point in regards to more to health than mineral balancing, but in regards to the gut - if your following ARL or TEI and eating the recommended diet and taking Gb3 or TEI equalivant along with the recommended detox protocols as part of these programs like the coffee enemas, infrared saunas etc then your gut should also heal as part of this.

Caring about gut health is good and all.
But I just don’t think that you get more than temporary improvements from “healing” your gut.
You probably need to keep on doing those things to keep the benefits.

I have no background in health so I am just speculating:

I think the gut talk is pseudoscience that people use to sell things like bacteria and supplements. Remember a lot of "health" is about creating new things (diseases, hypothesis') so that they can sell products.

For example a lot of vegans talk about the gut because they are constantly struggeling with the gut. I think what causes this gut issues of vegans is excessive copper, no zinc and excessive fiber.

A lot of them still have gut issues even after taking all the families of bacteria there is, antibiotics, water fasting etc. Look on YouTube vegan channels.

I am guessing water fasting helps to get rid of copper which is why a lot of vegans start doing it subconciously. They feel better on and after it. But then they go back to their diet full with copper and their gut gets fucked up again. It is a never ending cycle.

Vegans all get better (and I mean all) when they go on a carnivore diet because the carnivore diet contains no to zero copper, zinc, b vitamins, protein, no fiber, etc. I am guessing the carnivore diet chelates copper.

In the beginning of PFS I could not handle fiber either. I remember eating a vegetable or a potato with skin and my gut blew up. This is the same issues vegans have when they stay on the vegan diet for long enough. Skin issues another thing that vegans have as well.

Raincoast fixed himself primary through chelating copper.

Mineral balancing is a way to fix the gut. And it seems highly effective and pretty damn quick. While others spend years trying to fix the gut with random supplements

I think for some guys, maybe the majority, finasteride causes copper toxicity. This could be one of the side effects or the primary cause.

Alright guys it’s all against me here. And I know Helen Hates it when I bring this stuff up too.

But if you add the amount of guys who have recovered from pfs from mainly focusing on gut and digestive health vs mineral balancing- that ratio is about 15 to 1.

So I can’t be too off here lol.

I believe healing gut allows body to digest proteins properly. When you digest proteins properly, all of these amino issues we have like histidine, cysteine metabolism are just fixed.

For instance, last year when I was really doing well, every time I ate fish, meats, bone broths my libido would increase.

I believe I fixed my gut which allowed its ability to absorb foods and utilize nutrition 1000x better than it was before I did so.

This isn’t about me though. There was another recent pfs recovery story on propeciahelp a 10 year victim who figured it out and went all in on gut and pathogens.

There are dozens of stories like this- lol English who went to swolesource and propeciahelp telling people to fuck themselves and how stupid they were for not understanding that they need to fix gut.

English was all about that and really nothing else and fixed in 18 months. Braziliandude, chi, ihatepropecia702, cdsnuts and several of his followers. And the list goes one.

The power of the pathogen is extremely mighty. I get it- mineral balancing is supposed to fix it.

But I was in a room for 3 weeks straight with a Lyme dude at a mineral balancing place and this past summer. This dude had been there for 18 months and he was still not well.

I like what @Ocguy is doing- he’s on nutritional balancing while having his gut drink nightly that I just posted on my log yesterday.

Maybe try that drink people. It has helped a lot the past two weeks.

balanced people will have their cortisol system in such good place that the gut can digest anything. But getting perfectly balanced can take years.

The microbiome is an extremely interesting piece of the health puzzle. It has barely been studied unfortunately. While nutritional balancing should help fix this in long run, you can certainly do your part in fixing it in the right now.

I agree. Which is why it’s so nice we have nutritional balancing which is a cheat code essentially.

Gut/ low pathogen loads + NB = winning to me.

I agree for most part. I would watch out for bloating from excess coffee enemas. Andreas Moritz mentioned this happens to a solid subset of people who do these.

I do once to twice a week. Including today. But I just wouldn’t over do them like Dr. Wilson is so freely to use for anyone.

Also, the above you mention doesn’t take into account bacteria. I honestly feel better as I drink “Ocguy gut drink” or the kefir/colostrum drink in my log.

I don’t mean swallowing probiotics as I think they are waste of money. You need to get good bacteria in your body in different ways. Like probiotic enemas if need be. Or the Ocguy gut drink where that slodge feeds all parts of guts

I think building up populations of bacteria in gut can really help in short term and long term. Combined with NB, I don’t think you can lose.

Maybe for Lyme it is different but plenty of guys who used minerals to get rid of PFS as well. It was not structured program like TEI or ARL but they focussed on certain minerals and it fixed them. Also there were guys who used Dr. Wilsons' program and got fixed.

In the first cycle of TEI I still had diarrhea and bloating. On this cycle I have no issues with any food which shows my gut has become better. I did not use any probiotics or bacteria or focussed on gut health.

Maybe the gut health stuff is the truth but I am still in the middle of doing TEI and it seems to be helping a lot.

I think PFS guys focus on gut because their gut is fucked up in PFS. So they think it all comes from the gut. Meanwhile it could be that a bigger system in the body that are fucked up. This is why people "focus on the gut". Does not mean it was actually a problem with the gut. It could be a side effect of the bigger problem.

I think Helen pretty much said this exact same thing. Just paraphrasing. But I agree since starting this I can see what it means.

And TEI/ARL seem to address this since if the thought behind it is right then minerals and vitamins are the starting block of the body.

I think both are options and we will see in the end what works best. I want to get better I don't care about right or wrong.

I agree.

If NB is fixing your gut and your dick and your brain and you’re moving forward quickly then there is no reason to utilize bacteria. Because clearly good bacteria is building up on its own within a strong system.

But if you’re a cfs guy. With constipation. With gut issues. I think you can run these side by side. It’s a great compliment to great programs we have here. Bacteria isn’t going to disrupt a program like colloidal silver or other “pathogen bombs” like ozone would.

Somehow I now feel awful after I eat carbs; groggy, fatigued. Never had this. Weird stuff. Will retest in a week or two and follow program again, regardless of slow or fast outcome.

A lot of people have this lol even guys who do not have PFS. Could be temporary in your current body chemistry. I also had it for a while but now it is much better.

Count me as one. Before, during, and after PFS - carbohydrates absolutely make me sluggish and worse feeling. The only way I have been able to make them work for me is to utilize the carb backloading method that I learned during CDsnuts' protocol.

I was pretty damn skinny 5+/10 years late teens and 20's. (very much in shape but "too skinny" a bit).
Had insane energy. AND still, if I ate a bunch of chocolate bars, or pizza, or tons of rice, or bread ... wake up groggy. --prolly slow one. plus mentally feel better more confident but act like more of an asshole leaner. give and take.
this was before pfs. ---> when i say insane energy, i mean, up 5 days -- 2-5x a year. --and up 20 hrs -36hrs like it's a joke. (obviously that's "not good", it was to finish up work/ graduate , teach myself everything + insomnia, catching up, stress, etc).

The last 3/4 weeks I've been living without supplements as I will do another hair test. The only thing I've been trying is LDN - and I really mean LOW. I only take a small dose (1.5mg) once a week, every friday. I've noticed that it's affecting my T-levels as it gives me the same shocks and shortness of breath before I fall a sleep as to when I used T-gel. I've noticed impaired sleep and more frequent erections, both nocturnal as morning woodies - somehow this mostly happens after day 6 orso after taking LDN.

Weird how a dose so little and only once a week still has this effect.

I will send out a new hair test this Tuesday and will also try a new blood test shortly.

Any correlation between calcium and these terror shocks before falling asleep? No hypnic jerks or muscle spasms, but whenever I start to doozle in, I get these huge shocks which happen because I can't breath. I immediately wake up gasping for a huge breath. I have these mini heart attacks usually every night, but whenever I take in a lot of calcium, they are much more intense and frequent. I think it's called sleep paralysis.

I've had these for a while and usually come and go. Something it triggers this and I haven't been able to pinpoint what. I also got them from T-boosters or T-supplements. Rebel mentioned he got them from copper, but I had them before and after I supplemented with copper and now without it it seems only more intense.

Yea I got them when I supplemented copper only (before TEI).

I don't know what it is. It is crazy stuff. I also had buzzing in the ears. Not sure what you can do about it. I also had sleep paralysis a lot back then. If I would take a nap I would wake up but I could not move. Typical sleep paralysis stuff.

I think it is just a big imbalance in the body.

I get sleep paralysis every time I fall asleep on my back. Notice any trends besides your supplements?

I am near done with nutritional balancing. New hair test came in after taking nothing for two months. Went from fast one to fast four again and in four lows. Weird ass test, too with high iron this time.

So you're not convinced by it, and plan to try something else moving forward? Do you think you've got any gains from all the balancing programs you've done?

How was your diet during this time? I can imagine that this must feel pretty depressing and the most shocking thing is how easily you went back to 4 lows in such a short timeframe. I can only imagine that something is interfering with your health and preventing proper nutritional balancing recovery. Or the Dutch TEI version sucks after all, how did you feel on ARL in the past?

Not convinced. I've had 4 cycles and no gains to show for it. @Helen keeps mentioning how I didn't test my hair properly, but the results stay the same even after taking nothing, twice.

My diet was fine. Lots of vegetables, meat and brown rice as carbs.

I'll try R-Andro and then might call it quits. I'm so done with this shit.
