@tanedout good stuff on Rifaximin.

Abx and drugs just scare me right now @Admiral lol no offense. My gut just got so whacked this past late winter from them. But they were much different abx- so I shouldn’t be talking too much here.

Just curious but why do you ask? What kind of effect would pot have? Parasympathetic dominance?

pot activates cb1 receptor which increases cortisol and lowers LH.

so chronic pot smoking, will downregulate those receptors a lot.

Interesting as most people find pot relaxing. Just shows how wrong the view on cortisol is i guess. Low cortisol isn't good.

Got Nystatin (already took a dose). I remember having this drink before, so I will up the dose and start on my big ass protocol mentioned before.
Rifaximin was hard to get, but she was willing to give it to me in the end. Shit is expensive, though. Twenty pills for 140EU. Haven't made my mind up yet.

The patent hasn’t expired on Xifaxan (Rifaximin) yet, so it’s more expensive than it would be otherwise

How long do you have to take this?

Unclear. The doc couldn't find any guidelines how to use it for travellers diarrhea, which is the only excuse you can get it with.

That guy who used it how long did he do it. I would just do the same stuff he did since he got cured.

I feel this goes unnoticed.

According to this study, progesterone + nystatin reduced the uptake of AEA and is a potential treatment for PFS.

I also found a user who sort of went this route:

I did my first Nystatin enema (as recommended by people on this board and other boards) on July 11th followed by a garlic and walnut hull / wormwood enema and ever since the next day I have positively absolutely beyond a shadow of a doubt felt better. Keep in mind I’ve also been doing the progesterone protocol so maybe it kicked in right at the same time but the difference is HUGE. I have more energy, more motivation, better thinking, better memory, easier erections (although I could get erections before). My libido on the other hand has NOT increased. This is not a “I think I feel better” this is “I DEFINITELY FEEL BETTER, LET’S GO OUT AND CELEBRATE BITCH!”.

I am scared to use prog, but willing to give it a go with some more knowledge on it.

reduced uptake means increase anandamide. this is exactly what I posted in another thread.

paracetamol we used on POIS forum. to get rid of pois symptoms. while on it.

estrogen increases anandamide. you feel good after estro withdrawal.

I think this could be good for you.

I also wonder about that study which claims that estro plus progest restored allo pregnenolone levels in the brain.

estrogen controls arachidonic acid and anandamide. anandamide LOWERS LH.

so lets say if you have overexpressed CB1 receptor, it will lower your LH.

this is why tribulus worked for some people. since it raises FSH. which increases estrogen, and increases anandamide and downregulates the receptor on withdrawal.

Yeah, interesting.

You think the PEA has a role in it? Say Nystatin + progesterone + PEA for a few days and perhaps start another cycle?

I dont think PEA is needed, you can try, it will just increase absorbtion of fatty acids.

I think estrogen plus progesterone kind of the same.

does the same as nystatin, plus progesterone.

I though you would try that already))

in any case, I think this is a right direction. I think the problem is in regulation of CB1 vs estrogen receptor. and may be fatty acid conversions like LA into ALA . like in pyroluria and heavy metal toxicities.

But we do have 2 cases.

I think one case will feel good on peanut butter, ( arachidonic acid) and another case not so much))

Man be careful if you're gonna try prog..... just a warning
